Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series Collection 12 Books Set By Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid,Rodrick Rules,The Last Straw,Dog Days,The Ugly Truth,Cabin Fever,The Third Wheel,Hard Luck
Jeff Kinney is an author of children's books including Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series. Jeff was born in College Park, Maryland, in 1971 where he created a comic strip called "Igdoof."He also created the children's website 'Poptropica'.
“Scribble , scribble, scribble” the sound of Greg Heffley a high school student writing in his diary describing his “interesting” life. There are seven books in the Diary of the Wimpy Kid collection which are, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel. All of which were written by Jeff Kinney. These books are about Greg Heffley's life in high school and how he gets bullied each day. I am in high school and I noticed many peculiar things while reading the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. While reading this series there are many things I really enjoyed, and some parts I didn’t care for. I really enjoyed how these books were written in Greg Heffley's point of view. This makes you feel as if he is telling his high school story to you instead of someone else describing it. Another thing that really stood out about reading these books is the graphics included. These graphics were often stick figures and explained more thoroughly the situation besides the text that explained them. Often times I didn’t know what he was talking about until I looked at the picture which told me the whole conflict. But, there were some things I didn’t like about these series. First of all, I thought they were vague. For example, when Greg explained the trip he went on with his friend Rowley. He only talked about was not being able to play video games. He left out things like what him and Rowley did, ate, or was hoping they’d do.Also, many things were repetitive such as Greg explaining what the cheese touch is. But, many people may enjoy when he talked about the cheese touch because some parts were humerus and in some cases ridiculous. After reading these books I would highly recommend them to anyone. Many parts are really humorous and makes you glad you aren’t in Greg’s shoes. Also, it makes you appreciate how good you have it. After reading these books it’s going to want you to come back for more.

My kids absolutely loved this series. It is fun and will have you laughing out loud.
There are many books in this series some better than others, but they all have one thing in common, humour and the ability to make fun of oneself.
The pictures and jokes just make it all that much better.
Every single book in here including The deep end, the meltdown, Awesome friendly kid and Awesome friendly adventure, as well as the getaway are my favorites. The diary of a wimpy kid series is one of the book out of my top 4 first place book (the other first place book are 2021 almanac of fun, Projekt 1065 and I survived the California wildfires 2018). These book are really funny and enjoying. I love reading these books and many times its better than watching TV. I TOTALLY recommend you read these books!
I love the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid series I've read it like 15 times and I'm reading it again it has great humor and I relate to it so much I love the series and every time I think they're done they come out with more books I'm so excited to see anymore books that might come out and I hope this review helps you figure out if you want to read the series have a great day and I hope you enjoy the series as much as I do.
the books are wonderful, they are entertaining and short, so you don't get bored quickly, it's a saga with funny moments and sometimes everything seems to end there but Greg or his family always fix it
I was obsessed with these but wasn't allowed to read them at first haha. The drawings are fun to color in. Greg is an awful role model and kind of an asshole, but the text reads fast and is amusing. Childhood staple, and the movies hold up. (Not the most recent one obv)
Absolutely not a waste of money, although book series scenes we’re not really unoccupying sort of thing, I’d say this series was the best, and my all-time favorite book series, I’d spend my money on next year’s series again.
Hilarious and relatable story for KS2 children and above. Follows life of young boy through diary entries, including lots of funny cartoons. Very easy-read style so perfect for reluctant readers. Encourages children to laugh at their daily challenges and know they aren't alone.
