Variety is the spice of life…
That’s the kind of ‘throw caution to the wind’ mentality that got me into this mess in the first place. I thought a fresh start, some vodka, and swamp air would bring me back to my roots. They did, all right—my roots also got me pregnant and have me staring at this positive test like it's a Jenga puzzle piece. One wrong move and everything topples over. We love each other. We hate each other. But above all else—we’re now stuck with each other for life.

Savannah

My sister has got herself a bun in the oven and a sentence for eighteen to life. Instead of owning up, she's still letting her stubborn ass pride get in the way, and I'm done. I may not have it all together, but I’m taking matters into my own hands and forcing them to handle their business. I’m one hell of a puppet master too until my boyfriend drops the mother of all bombs on me. This should be our happily ever after, but life’s funny with curveballs like that. Especially ones you’ve managed to block out.

Book 5 in the swamp... holy **** this one had me on the edge of my seat and wanting more as I turned that last page! Yes OMG major cliffhanger, however, these are not bad as the next book will be out before long. What to say about these talented ladies Cora Kenborn and KA Ware, who never stop surprising me. Damn I don't want to do any spoilers but lets just say things are starting to work out for the Sisters. Pope and Zeb are hot as ever. This is one of the best Rom-Com Series I have read. If you have not read any then you need to get busy but I promise it will not take you long, These epic little Novellas are wonderful quick reads and in about a day you could be caught up for the next one coming up. Must read series and I really wish I could give it more then 5 stars!!

Get ready to laugh your way through yet another hilarious installment of The Swamp Bottom series and enjoy the ride while we see once again what the Dubois sisters are up to this time...
Cora Kenborn and K.A Ware make you want to be able to travel to Louisiana and be a part of this world!! Once again we join Addie, Savvie, and of course their hot as heck boyfriends Hep and Pope, and let's not us forget The Fabulous Babs...
We follow Addie and Sav, while they battle self doubt and crazy families, all the while trying to navigate their way through life which is NEVER EVER the way they plan or wish for. But every once in awhile fate steps in and shakes things up... MOST of the time for the best of course, BUT..... NOTHING can always go smoothly when you have a Vodka toting Babs and a crazy stubborn as all get cast of characters that will have you rolling on the floor in laughter!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE This series and can not wait to what's in store next for the Terrebonne Clan!!!

This is the fifth book in the Swamp Bottom Series. Bluelights and Boatmen left you with one hell of a cliffhanger, as always Pink Lines and Panic is no different.

The Dubois sister are back! Savvy is as crazy as ever, Addie is neurotic as hell. Zep is sexy, cause Zep is sexy. Pope is just the sweetest! This for me is probably the most emotional of all, or maybe I'm just so invested in these characters. They had me all up in my feelings.

If you're looking for a rom-com that'll have you giggle-snorting, look no further you have found your jam! Between Savvy's outlandish comments and Addie's anal retentive ways, I guarantee you can relate to one or both of these quirky sisters!

If you love a RomCom that keeps you literally laughing out loud that you wake your husband and kids in the middle of the night, then the Swamp Bottom Series is the one for you. Pink Line and Panic is the 5th installment in the Swamp Bottom Series by authors Cora Kenborn and KA Ware. Each time I read one of their books, I find myself stating there is no way the next will top the one I've finished.....yet EACH and EVERY time these ladies far surpass all my expectations! I do recommend reading this series in order. Each book leads into the next, so for continuity...you definitely want to read in order. Trust me....once you begin, YOU WILL NOT be able to stop! These novella's are like a lays potato chip, you CANNOT stop at just one!

Pink Lines and Panic picks up from their last book Blue Lights and Boatman. Holy smokes, lil' Addie has a secret and has found herself in quite the pickle. Nothing that won't remedy itself in say about 9 months and several hundred consumed pickles later!!! After a little tiff with Zep that ends with the office needing some sheetrock repair, she finds herself drowning her woes in a carton of Ben and Jerry's while Savvy indulges in a bottle of vodka. Well, they are sisters and you always invite those closest to your pity parties. After some persuasion, Savvy convinces Addie to pull up her big girl panties and face that 'lil' pickle' head on.

....a lot has gone on since we came home, but we've settled Ads. The only thing in shambles now is your head.

After Addie and Savvy's ice cream, vodka and a few Dr. Phil moments, a lil' ADHD oral gratification, and the need for tacos......Savvy and her alcohol laced mind decides to give the situation a little push with a visit to Zep. Lets face it, like with most sisters, they see the other hurting and it's time to open a can of whoop ass!!!! Advising him to remove his head from his arse and see once and for all that Addie's not playing the push and pull game, but to that her 'stepford wife' past has her second guessing any relationship decision she makes.

Words don't mean shit, cock sipper. Actions do. Show her that you'll fight for her. Show her that nothing she does is going to push you away.

Addie and Zep both pull their heads out their behinds and agree to face this new adventure a day at a time. Mind you....when you put these two together, one day at a time is like a never ending day at the Ringly Bros. Circus. The antics between those two as they face impending parenthood left me literally crying with laughter!!! If you have ever experienced pregnancy and the first OB visit with an alpha partner, then you will love this particular scene. Let me just say these two words.....'circus and euphemis'!! I will never hear cervix and uterus and not think of those two words!!!

Bless Savvy, as she see's her sister and Zep tackling this new turn in their relationship she begins to question exactly where she and Pope are headed. She never thought she would see the day the word 'routine' would be one she used and liked. Yes, she likes the nightly routine.....take out and vegging in front of the TV. Now she thinks she may want more. Does he?? Well, she soon finds out exactly what Pope does want and as usual Pope does not disappoint in his letting her know how he feels.

Toss in a meet and greet with Pope's mom, sister, Addie, Savvy, their mom and Babs!! Add in a bottle of champagne, a voodoo doll, and you've got yourself a party in the dressing room.

Honestly this book is truly the best I have read thus far in this series. I was once asked to rank each book in order of which I liked most to least and that is by far difficult to do. Each and every book in this series has been a joy to read and they leave me only wanting more. As a reader that is a true determination of a great series. Authors Cora Kenborn and KA Ware bring and give their absolute best to their fans with each installment that is released. I love how each book ends and flows so effortlessly into the next. The story line never dulls nor does the pace ever reach any lulls. We also see as the story progresses the characters continue to develop and you find yourself wondering what will happen next. This book also shows the resilience of human character. These characters have been thru a lot over the years, yet they pick themselves up...brush themselves off and face whatever is thrust on them. With that in mind, these authors are giving us characters that are strong willed and we see those that lost their way are finding themselves once and again and in that we see their inner strength once lost, found!

Kudos to the authors on another job well done !!!!!!

Here we are back in the Swamp! We were left hanging when the previous novella, "Blue lights and boatmen", ended. Addie has to face an important matter and Savvy also has a few nice surprises along the way, not all of them pleasing.

I think this may be my favorite novella of the series after "Hook ups and Hang ups". Our characters are maturing and showing sides I never thought possible. This book focused more on Addie and Zep because of the previous cliffhanger and I am amazed by how both of them are evolving as characters and as a couple. Thanks to Zep's support and calm nerves (or the opposite, lol), Addie is finally believing more in herself and trusting her long time love. When I started this series, I believed Zep to be different but each novella shocks me when it comes to him, because he is truly one of those male characters you'd want for yourself. In flesh and bone. I also like Addie a lot like I've said previously, and I wish that she'd just tried to live her life more without thinking about the consequences and the various what-ifs scenarios.

In this 5th installment we saw little of Pope but I'm sure that in the next book (that I'm assuming is titled after the last chapter?) we will see a lot of him. I can't go in details because it would be a spoiler, but I'm waiting to see how Savvy's cliffhanger works out. And here I thought that she had less problems to face because of her positive attitude... ah! Hopefully, everything will resolve for her as well because they all deserve an happy ending.

As usual, the novella was filled with laugh-worthy moments. Seriously, making a person laugh is harder than making them cry, but K.A. Ware and Cora Kenborn are able to write lines that will make you do both. This book is full of funny moments but also emotional ones, and you can perceive Addie and Savvy's personality through their POVs, which is another thing I applaud them for, since not everyone can create a character with their own distinct personality who tears through the words and makes the reader believe he/she is real.

This being said, I can't wait to read what happens next!

Each book in this series just gets better and better. As we all know from the cliffhanger in Blue Lights and Boatmen, someone is prego!! Addy is as neurotic as ever with all these pregnancy hormones and any one that has been or is pregnant can definitely relate to her actions and reactions throughout the novella. Can we all say "Awe, poor Zep" He's as sexy and determined as ever to make Addy see things his way. Savvy is still as crazy as ever but she still has the amazingly sweet Pope standing beside her. Savvy is planning her and Pope's wedding, shopping for the perfect dress and planning the best baby shower ever for her sister. But as we all know, nothing hardly ever goes the way things are planned. I mean after all, this is the DuBois sisters, what ever could possibly go wrong, right? A really great, quick to read novella that had me laugh crying (that's a thing, right?) You must read the first books in this series in order to understand fully the events and characters of this novella. It does end on another cliffhanger but all of us followers of the Swamp Bottom Series knows that the next installment will be here soon!

Book 5 of the Swamp Bottom Series and oh my gosh the crazy good times just keep me up
all night until I finish and then...what??? Love, strong emotions and so much hilarious action
going, it's better than a joy ride with your BFF! These two talented writers play off of each
other to create the most fun reads ever! I think this book is my favorite so far, but now I'm
going back to read the first four again just to make sure😸 My most favorite part has to be
the whole wedding dress shopping scenario. Just hilarious!!!

This series can't ever end!

I absolutely adore every character in these books. I am loving the change between Sav and Addie, love they're switching roles. Babs is stoll my favorite. Pregnancy brain and hormones were written perfectly. I am hoping for a showdown of all Babs showdown between her and Pope's dad. I don't ever stop smiling or laughing during these books. I wish they'd make a tv show about these books. Love these authors! Now, I'm impatiently waiting for the next installment! If you haven't read these books you need to one-click!

The fifth installment of the Dubois sisters is just as outrageous and hilariously perfect as the four before it, and I laid like a bump on an alligator from start to finish, since I literally could not stop reading it. This book beat out my need for morning caffeine, since I didn’t even get up to get my coffee until I was finished. That says A LOT.
Addie and Zep’s constant back and forth relationship was left hanging with his ultimatum and subsequent storming out of the office, leaving her crushed with the panic of those two pink lines that you’re never really prepared to see, even if you were hoping to see them. The realization that she is pregnant drives her even further into Absolute Addie Insanity and Savannah steps in, as sisters do, with ice cream and words of...encouragement. Anyone that knows Savannah knows that probably means something inappropriate and insane. She doesn't disappoint here either! The ensuing story of her pregnancy is laugh out loud hysterical and absolutely relatable as a mother. Between the Baby Bible, the horror of the Ultrasound Wand, the being constantly ready for sexy time and the fear of delivering a baby with a gigantic head I was mentally marking off checks in my mind of experiencing similar instances while I was pregnant. I fell even more in love with Zep when he wrapped his head around the news and immediately fell into doing the right thing by Addie, and assuring her she would not have to do anything alone. His pride about being a father was completely heartwarming and his insistence on how he would be nothing like his own father was as sad as it was beautiful.
I’ve made it no secret that I’m just a little bit in love with Bam Bam and he was so incredibly adorable in this book I just wanted to snuggle him, when he asked Addie and Zep if he was going to be an aunt or an uncle when they found out the sex of the child. I lovelovelovelove this family so hard.
Savannah and Pope’s relationship continued being the polar opposite of Addie and Zep’s, the easy and fun moments they share together finally being expressed with those three words that they had been too scared to say up to now. Again, her expression of love for him was completely relatable, professing her feelings while simultaneously insulting him, and the outcome of that was beautiful, and exactly what you would expect out of the two of them. When the girls go shopping with their Mother, Babs, and Pope’s mom and sister the experience goes exactly how you would expect it to when this family is involved and I fell head over vodka in love with Mrs. Pope after her reaction to Babs’ gift to her.
I cried more than once in this book, out of happiness, out of sadness, out of laughter. This has been my favorite book of the series by far, but they are all laugh out loud comedic perfection and I can’t wait to see what comes next for the Dubois sisters.

How I am even supposed to start this review? I want it to be clean enough to be posted on sites that get angry when I let my freak/geek flag fly and used excited grown up words...like I do over every installment of this series. Cora Kenborn and KA Ware are the absolute masters of RomCom with these. There has not been a book yet in the Swamp Bottom series that has not had me laughing to the point of losing bodily fluids (tears....well, mostly. Yeah, laughing to tears, we'll stick with that.) Pink Lines and Panic is certainly no exception.

Since my kids have grounded me 3 times in the last 2 days for inappropriate behavior, and I am getting a bit of a complex about it, I will save all my favorite quotes for my blog post that will be up hopefully late tonight. If not, tomorrow morning for sure. As the title alludes to, someone is unexpectedly pregnant. Okay, not a spoiler....if you've been keeping up we this because it was the cliffhanger of Blue Lights and Boatmen. I'm not even touching the spoiler at the end of PL&P - it is the biggest one yet and I am already antsy waiting for the next one! It's going to be amazing! But back to the 5th installment of my favorite series.....the panic part is a bit more widespread. And hilarious. Always, always hysterical.

Along with the comedic gold, there are plenty of very swoons worthy romantic moments as well. Both Pope and Zep pull out some lines that could put Shakespeare to shame (okay, so, I don't often admit it, but I am not a big fan of the Bard, and certainly not of his brand of romance, but since most of the world thinks he's the gold standard....I'll use him.) Bravo to both boys for giving my Dubois girls worthy romantic words .... not to mention actions, but that usually gets me in trouble, so we will leave it as both of these blue collar guys are just amazing. And to the one whose blue collar hides his blue blood - I just gotta say I love his mom and sister. Especially his mom. She speaks Babs-inese...I love that.

I couldn’t review one of these books without mentioning Babs. She has become one of my all time favorite characters. I can't decide if I want a Babs of my own more, or if I just want you be Babs when I grow up. Either way, the Dubois matriarch is just simply awesome. She is quite often behind the hardest laughs (and leaking body fluids) when I read these. Her granddaughters each have inherited more of her personality than either would admit to, though, so they bring me hearty chuckles and guffaws as well. Must be something in the blood lines, because cousin BamBam entertains me well too.

Note to self, when this series ends entirely too soon, bug authors for a BamBam spinoff. And one of these wonderful ladies needs a "Dear Babs" advice column on their website. Just....a couple of further marketing ideas....yeah....Nothing to do with the fact that I can't stand the thought of letting go of these characters. But it already kind of bums me out that there are only three more novellas planned for this series. I was lucky to stumble into the release party for Front Porches and Funerals and was addicted before I even opened the first page after one clicking immediately. I have been a fan of Cora's for a while. Those of you reading this because you follow my reviews know that rockstar romance is my normal obsession. If you haven't read Cora's (that's Cora Kenborn so you don't have to scroll up) Lords of Lyre and you are a fan of the men behind the guitars and mics (and drums too, yes, drummers are an integral part of the band no matter what anyone else may tell you. And I am not even going to insert a drummer joke here to show you how serious I am.) then don't hesitate. They are awesome. But my point is that, though I loved those, I didn't realize just how witty she was.

So, if you haven't yet, pick up all 5, starting with Front Porches and Funerals, immediately. My very, very highest recommendations. You can check this site or my blog gorgeous reviews of the first four. I don't rave on and on like I do with these often, but I don't come across a series this incredible often either.

If you need a pick me up grab this swamp series every book is amazing pink lines and panic has drama love and laughter the amount of times I burst out laughing was unbelievable and the looks I got from my partner we're priceless it's a great sister bond book with two hot men in there although I have a soft spot for bambam the big dope also Babs everybody needs a Babs in their life she cracks me up so much I really hope she stays in the series without dying or getting ill because I think I will never stop crying if something happened to her . I can't believe the ending in this book it was just such a smack in the mouth I did not see it coming looking forward to the next book the author's are a great team that have made a little gem between them I love it when you can actually feel the friendship though the book I've read a few books by two author's before and to be honest it was like they were trying to write their own stories in one book where as these books are perfectly worded and you can stay with the stories there is no moment you think what just happened or that didn't even make sense perfect partnering guys keep up the great work xxx

I have just finished reading Pink Lines & Panic, the fifth installment of the Swamp Bottom series by these two fantastic authors! This series is taking us on an adventure with the Dubois sisters and is the funniest books I have ever read, well they definitely amped up the comedy in Pink Lines & Panic. I was giggling, chuckling, laughing and full on laughing with questionable looks from my kids and husband.

These girls are crazier than ever! The one liners and comedic references are epic. I wont tell you what some of them are because you'll need to read to find out, but if you haven't read this series you need to start with Front Porches & Funerals.

I also have to mention that Babs is back at it again. OMG I love Babs! She gets better and better as this series goes on! And we can't forget Kevin, he's so adorable. We did get a reference to Fluffy and would have loved to see a tad bit more of him/her but there really wasn't anywhere for him.

I can't wait for the next installment, I hope it's not a long wait!

The Dubois crazy shows up again in the 5th installment from Cora Kenborn and Ka Ware. This dynamic duo will be having you laughing so hard at Savvy and Addie's characters and antics, you might have people looking at you like you are just as crazy.

When we left off with Blue Lights and Boatmen, Zep gave up chasing after Addie. Her hot and cold attitude towards him finally made him break. Little did he know, she had a secret, a BIG secret. Now with Addie and Zep on the outs, Savvy steps in and tries to help. The sisters may not have it all together, but they do have each other. Together they take on the world and NOLA. Will Addie have the courage to tell Zep about the baby or will she keep this secret with her? Will she finally give into what her heart wants or will she let her pride keep getting in the way?

Come on back down to the swamp where porches and vodka solve everyone's problems. Well, not everyone's since Vodka kind of put Addie in the spot where she is today.

Pink Lines & Panic is the fifth book in the Swamp Bottom Series. OMG! Get ready for a hilarious ride. I thought I was going to wake my husband up because I was laughing so hard. What do you expect though when you have the Dubois sisters and all their crazy antics.
Addie and Zep get the most shocking news of their lives. Addie's stubborn behavior and her emotions are all over the place. Zep is trying to be patient and supportive.
Savy and Pope's relationship is getting serious so Savy is spending more time with Pope's family. You can only imagine how that goes. Pope is sweet and sexy as usual.
Oh I can't forget about Babs and her crazy one-liners. Lol!
When you get these characters all together you just never know the crazy things that will happen. You will be excited, you will laugh, get frustrated and fall in love with these characters even more than you already do. You can't miss out on this must read! I can't wait for book 6 to get here. I just can't get enough of this series!
K.A. Ware and Cora Kenborn you ladies rock!!

Once again these 2 authors are on fire. This is the 5th book in this series and OMG I absolutely loved it.

Savvie and Addie are back along with their sexy hot men and things once again just don't go as planned but as you know you need to expect that in this series!! One thing these authors do is make you laugh out loud, cry and laugh out loud again.

The cast of characters from these 2 sisters one being anal and the other is so outrageously spoken to the hot men and Babs you are sure to find someone to connect with. This is a very very well written series and leaves us with great cliff-hanger's but these authors don't leave us hanging for long.

Grab your copy right away and get caught up with the Dubois sisters and the fabulous world of New Orleans these author's hve created...it is sure to tickle your fancy and leave you wanting more.

I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book for Rockstar Book Muse

I just finished reading a review copy of Pink Lines and Panic and this is my freely given honest review. If you cannot figure out what Pink Lines and Panic means then you have not been paying attention to this series! K.A Ware and Cora Kenborn have created an exciting, original, hilarious, sexy, sister story in the swamps of Louisiana. If you stumbled across this title or review then I am immediately sending you back to the first book in the series Front Porches and Funerals because you would never understand what's going on! For those that are not aware, this is a series of inter-connected novellas and each one ends on a cliffhanger. I am normally not a fan of the cliffhanger but I am a fan of this series so you can wait until the last three installments come out to start or jump in like the rest of us and enjoy the Dubois sister ride! Now for the series fan, I am not going to give one single thing away! That's right because I would ruin the story for you. I will say this, Addie and Zep are working on things and Savvy and Pope are working on things and Babs is still drinking vodka! How's that for vague?!

What a ride! Another hit in the Swamp Bottom series! Of course after Blue Lights and Boatmen cliffhanger we were all left wanting to get our hands on the next installment!
Pink lines and Panic brought its A game making us go through all the emotions! One minute I was pissed then ecstatically laughing, then I was bawling my eyes out when something sweet was said. We've come to adore all of these characters and want nothing but the best for them, however it's oh sooo much more fun to watch them squirm and be their hilariously awkward selfs as they handle their business!

Each book of the Swamp Bottom series is fantastic in its own way. This book is not a stand-alone. You definitely need to read the series from the beginning.

The Dubois sisters will keep you laughing in this book. It is full of one liners and Southern charm that will have you rolling on the floor. I am not going to mention anything that happens; you will have to read it for yourself. I will tell you; however, Babs is back in all her glory.

Do yourself a favor and read Pink Lines and Panic to find out what the Dubois sister are up to now.
I can’t wait until the next book is available.

The 5th book in this epically amazing series and I'm not sure how these girls managed it, but it is better than ever! The misadventures of these sisters has you laughing out loud in public places, yelling, crying -and I mean ugly crying and cheering them on to the finish line. I didn't think I could love this series more until I read this one.
If you haven't read the Swamp Bottom Series, what are you waiting for?! Get on this!!

I FLOVE this book!!! I laughed through this whole book!!! Like seriously laughed hysterically it's so funny. Each book gets funnier and funnier. This entire series so far does not disappoint. It's a quick read. I love that I can visually see the scenes in the book play out in my mind. I love that the characters are like real people and do crazy things, say crazy stuff, and can be totally irrational. I can't wait for the next one!!!!

This series just gets better and better. I can't put into words how funny and amazing this series is. I even have my hubby reading them, he's only on book 3. K.A. and Cora have done the most amazing job bringing these characters to life and making you fall in love with them. I cannot wait until the next book and to see what happens. Not to mention I can never get enough Babs!

Swamp Bottoms ❤️🐊😂

Another totally fun and hilarious book of the Dubois sisters! ❤️
Addies on an emotional roller-coaster because of the pregnancy hormones with Zep. Plus, Savvy and Pope move things right along with a marriage proposal.
These gals, and the families are loads of entertainment. And find yourself laughing out loud with their antics and sayings.
Can't wait for the next book 📖❤️...

Just when you think you can't laugh any harder at the shenanigans of Addie and Sav, their guys Zep and Pope, and our favorite family matriarch Babs, throw in 2 pink lines and a couple proposals and the funny just keep on coming! Tons of laughs, lots of love, plenty of heat, and just enough sweet to melt your heart and leave you dying for more!

Best book in the series so far! What a fun ride-so much fun getting to know our "Swamp" family better as the adventures continue. Babs is a hoot, Pope and Zep are sexy as hell and the Dubois sisters are laugh out loud funny. I didn't want this story to end and cannot wait to find out what happens next! Cora and KA you ROCK!

They. Did. It. Again. The authors of this series, get an extra round of applause from me on this one! I literally cried from laughing so hard. And I fell in love a little more with the characters. Yes, it has quite the cliffhanger leaving you wondering if Zep will make it to "thirty two" or what happens in Vegas. But it is SO worth the wait! I give it a big 5 stars!
