An witchy bride. An itchy groom. A flower girl squirrel. And a dead wedding planner. Why is nothing ever easy in Paradise Falls.

Witch Hazel Kinsey is finally marrying the love of her life, werebear Ford Baylor, in a ceremony that will bind their souls for life.

Unfortunately, party crashers have other plans for the anxious bride. Like killing her before the ceremony. Her wedding planner is dead in her freezer, another guest has been poisoned, and the magic shawl needed to complete the bonding is missing. To top it off, Tanya Gellar, her nemesis has gotten engaged to her Haze’s dad. Gag.

Haze, Ford, with the help of Tizzy the squirrel, and Lily Mason are determined to track down the killer and make the midnight deadline, but if they can’t stop the person behind the bounty on Haze’s head, the wedding may be off. Permanently. Secrets from the past don’t stay in the past, and Haze learns that actions, even decades old, have consequences.

What’s a Witchzilla to do when everything on her special day goes wrong? Everything she can to make sure she doesn’t lose her one shot at true happiness.

For Hazel and the gang, it’s just another day in Paradise Falls.

About Renee:
USA Today Bestselling author Renee George writes paranormal mysteries and romances because she loves all things whodunit, Otherworldly, and weird. Also, she wishes her pittie, the adorable Kona Princess Warrior, and her beagle, Josie the Incontinent Princess, could talk. Or at least be more like Scooby-Doo and help her unmask villains at the haunted house up the street.

When she’s not writing about mystery-solving werecougars or the adventures of a hapless psychic living among shapeshifters, she is preyed upon by stray kittens who end up living in her house because she can't say no to those sweet, furry faces. (Someone stop telling them where she lives!)

She resides in Mid-Missouri with her family and spends her non-writing time doing really cool stuff...like watching TV and cleaning up dog poop.

How can you not love a book that opens with a witch bride, her BFF and her flying squirrel familiar staring down at the dead body of the wedding planner? That is exactly how the fourth book in the Witchin' Impossible series starts and the action builds from there. Hazel has finally made it to the day of her binding ceremony with her mate Ford. Of course, nothing in Hazel's life goes as planned. This fairly short novella follows the group as they try to find out who is trying to kill Hazel on her binding day. For once, I did have an inkling of who the culprit was. This book is full of the humor and madcap action that I've come to expect out of a Renee George book. I'm not sure if this is the last book in the series, but if it is, it is a fantastic ending to a wonderful series. I highly recommend this series to everyone who loves paranormal rom com or just comedy in general.

Mr. & Mrs. Shift continues the story of Hazel Kinsey, a witch and small town police chief. Her wedding/bonding day with the love of her life, Ford, has finally arrived; however, when her wedding planner tries to take her out, Hazel realizes the day of her dreams is going to be a nightmare.

Apparently the day for the magical soul bonding ceremony only happens once a year, so this explains why Hazel is determined to continue with the ceremony despite multiple assassination attempts, the death of her wedding planner, and the disappearance of the magical shawl needed for the ceremony. It’s a non-stop, madcap adventure as Hazel tries to pretend everything is okay. I enjoyed the silly nature of the story, but wish the author had taken a little more time leading up to the day and developing the scenes.

The mystery of who is trying to take out Hazel before she’s bonded to Ford is a bit of a “red shirt” situation; however, the why isn’t clear until it’s all explained by the villain’s monologue, confessing their dastardly plan.

Overall, the series continues to entertain me, despite the short nature of the books. Mr. & Mrs. Shift forwards the romantic story arc while reinforcing the fact that Hazel is not a universally-loved witch.

My Rating: B/B-

I loved this book! It's fast-paced, a little mad capped, and all about true love. These characters are so fun and a little zany, I enjoy getting to visit with them. I hope there will be more books in this series in the future.

I received a copy of this book from the author, my review has been voluntarily submitted.

Of course Hazel and Ford couldn't have a stress-free wedding! Someone's out to kill the bride and they have only a couple hours to find out. The whole gang is back for a great adventure (even if the groom is naked).

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Mr and Mrs Shift
Witchin’ Impossible book 4
Author: Renee George
Barkside of the Moon Press (22 July 2019)

“A witchy bride. An itchy groom. A flower girl squirrel. And a dead wedding planner. Why is nothing ever easy in Paradise Falls.”

Having just discovered the Witchin’ impossible books recently, I fell in love with Agent Hazel Kinsey, her squirrel familiar Tizzy and her bootylicious bear Shifter Ford Baylor in the first book.
Here we are on number four, and I’m excited to see just what on Earth will go wrong, before Hazel - now Chief of Police - and Ford, finally tie the knot.
Because something will go wrong, and that’s the joy of these books; the manic, hilarious, romantic and wild journey that leads up to the inevitable HEA (that’s Happy Ever After in romance book speak).
In this case, the hiccup in the pending nuptials is the moment when the wedding planner tries to assassinate Hazel.
Now, Hazel was difficult, but she was no Bridezilla, and the weapon, was the weapon of choice for a trained assassin, so something was definitely wrong in Paradise Falls.
In the town, the population was half witches, half shifters. And shifters married, - bound souls - for life. Whilst shifters and witches didn’t normally mate, or mix, a random teenage kiss sealed their fate, and Hazel and Ford were destined to be mates for life.
If only they could get through the wedding.
In this case, whilst the shifter side was bound, ie sorted, the ceremony was to seal the witch side forever to Ford.
Carly, one of the guests at the wedding and cousin to Hazel, is adorably annoying and gets on great with Tizzy. Speaking of which, Tizzy herself is adorable too. She’s very rodent cute as well as being a loving familiar.
As usual, Renee uses some adept pop culture references in her book, that will make the reader smile, or grin.
Whilst the main narrative is the murder mystery, the development of various characters including young Beksy, helps build a stronger universe.
We have the romance, the humour, which Renee is great at, and the gory bits.
This is another great book in the Witchin’ Impossible world and well worth a read.

With humor, danger, dead bodies on Ford and Hazel's wedding day you are in for a ride!
Finally, Hazel and Ford's wedding day is here and Renee George puts us on a roller coaster ride from the first pages to the end! Will their wedding and bonding ceremony come off? We are offered the dead body of the wedding planner who Hazel just killed and the need to hide the body until after the wedding and her dying words that more were coming after Hazel. What a way to start your wedding. But why? With Ford, Lily, her familiar Tizzy, her father and his new love, Tanya (Hazel's nemesis) they try to find who the killer or potential assassin is before it is too late. The bonding has to take place at midnight which leaves only a few hours to find the killer/assassin! Will this wedding and bonding be able to come off or will Hazel become a victim or will the wedding have to be postponed? A fast paced cozy mystery that has you turning pages and laughing at our very own Bridezilla! I love Tizzy and her snarky comments as she tries to keep Hazel from going off the deep end. Lots of fun and a great book 4! I can't wait to see what happens next. I received and ARC from the author but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Paradise Falls is poised and waiting: Hazel Kinsey is finally going to marry the man she loves, werebear Ford Baylor, in a soul-binding ceremony that must be completed by midnight. Everyone is ready for the big event, but there is one small problem to deal with. The wedding planner turns assassin to kill Hazel and claim the bounty someone put on Hazel’s head! Who? Why?

Now they need to hide the body until after the ceremony while Hazel, Ford, Tizzy, Lily, and their family and friends find out who wants Hazel dead! With the zany cast of characters we all know and love, get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as they respond to Hazel’s crisis! Let the interrogation of the guests begin, because this wedding cannot be delayed!

I don’t think I will ever get enough of these zany books that I have loved forever! The characters are so real that they feel like family, and I’m right in the middle of it! Join the wedding guests and dodge any murder attempts as we see if the gang can do the impossible once again – an easy challenge for this bunch! Don’t forget to bring a hankie if they somehow survive and make it to the emotional part!

Paradise falls
Hazel Kinsey is a witch, ex-FBI agent and now Chief of Police in Paradise Falls. She is finally getting to marry the werebear of her dream Ford Baylon. Let's just say it's been a long time coming for the both of them. But someone has other plans and let's just say that her dream wedding doesn't go like planned. We do get to see her best friend Lily Mason and her boyfriend Parker who comes for the wedding. By the way they also have there own series called called a Barkside of the moon cozy mysteries. If you haven't heard of them have a look I love that series too.
This book has lots of humor, craziness, fun, drama, mystery, betrayal, spice and so much more! Once I picked this book up I couldn't stop reading its amazing. One I will be reading again and again and still find it fun. Great characters pull you in and storyline keeps it fun. Don't miss it.

And you thought you had a wedding story to tell! Can you compare to death attempts? Yep, Hazel and Ford are gonna tie the knot--that is if they can stop the attempts (yes plural) on her life and find a very crucial part of the ceremony.

Tizzy is there both supporting Hazel and driving Ford nuts. Oh, yeah, your gonna love her new love! You'll meet some far-reaching relatives and learn some unknown or forgotten history.

The two love each other and they have a magic, were, human ceremony. The snarks are plentiful, the magic both good and bad, the steam between the couples is rising. A whole lot happening in a short read. Can it separate our favorite couple?

Another fun time with a Witchin' Impossible Mystery. Do not miss this fun important day.

The wedding is finally here!! I've been along the for the ride since book one and I love Hazel and Ford. When the book opens with a body that has to be hidden that is none other than the wedding planner, you know the book is going to be one you want to read. Like all the others in this series, the characters and the story line suck you in and take you along for the ride. The usual characters are along for the ride. Tizzy, Lupita, Hazel's dad, her "arch nemesis", Ford's parents, and Sassy for WV. It isn't a Witchin' Impossible book without some over the top hijinks that Hazel and Ford have to figure to save their family, their town and this time, save their marriage. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope there is more in this series.

What could possible go wrong on your wedding day if you are a witch and the police captain in a small town as you are about to marry your were bear groom? For Hazel her dream wedding soon becomes a nightmare when her wedding planner tries to kill her and she is force to kill her instead.

It is not a great way to start off as you try to hide the body from the guests. Party crashers are a part of the mayhem including her nemesis getting engaged to her father.

Once again Hazel will have to figure who has a grudge against her or she might die trying. Nothing goes smoothly for her and her gang on the way to the altar.

Renee George has done it again giving us an engaging whodunit with just the right amounts of mystery, intrigue, humor, snarkiness, and characters that you just love to love. No spoilers here, but here's what you need to know: There's a little love, a wedding, a couple of characters that resurface (from another series) and too much fun not to keep swiping your Kindle till you get to the end. Hard to put down, easy to read, stop reading this review and just one click NOW! I received an advanced copy and am providing my unsolicited honest review.

This author can give me more than I hope for when I open her pages. She also will give me humor along with the story as she has in this one. This one is so full of adventure that you wondered how she had it all in there before it got on paper. I seen the behavior of some brides but this one is the best. Hazel and Ford are the center of this one with high jinks that are colored with magic. The romance is out of this world with you being taking away by them all.

I really should give this a 1-star rating due to the length. At 132 pages and $8.99 USD ($3.99 USD Kindle), it's not a full length novel. It is an expensive novella. That kind of ticked me off.

However.

I love these characters. The world that the author created is great. The characters are so much fun. This story and the action was crazy. Very fast paced and stuff going on all over the place.

Poor Ford. Getting married naked! LOL LOL

I really enjoyed getting to know Hazel and Ford throughout this series. A little sad to see it end.

When the wedding planner tries to shoot Hazel, she begins to wonder??

Then another body, of a red squirrel turns up, leaving Hazel thinking someone's killed Tiz 😭😭

Another body drops, where Hazel should have been seated!!

More and more things stand in Hazel and Fords way of getting bound.

Rollicking good story with a HEA ❤❤❤❤

Always an adventure in Paradise Falls and a wedding doesnt stop any magical mayhem from occuring. The awesome power couple has another crazy plan to interrupt before their bonding ceremony becomes a wishful fantasy. So they team up with some of their regulars to investigate and intimidate the guest into confession. Another memorable event to add to Chief Kinsey's list of "why me?".

Seemed the bad luck cloud continues following Hazel! With her magnum event threatened she will need powerful help to survive it. Laughed with the different guest’s characters and liked Hazel commitment with her bear shifter. A happy event turned dangerous but amusing and with all the crew. Liked this story that kept me entertained with all the magic characters.
