"My favorite was the very first story "Snowed." As I continued reading on and got to "The Last Rainbow" I felt like I was reading The Butterfly Garden all over again. It was weird! I was thoroughly captured with the writing style and nothing about these stories is predictable so you have no clue what's around the corner." Readrantrockandroll
"Well that was on the darker side and boy, did I like stepping out of the light. " Goodreads Review
"Stephen King, move over and meet Logan Keys. Logan, Stephen, Stephen, Logan." Bestelling Author D. Nichole King
"My favorite story was, "The Last Rainbow," and truth be known, it was almost responsible for my whole apartment complex burning down. I set a pot of water to boil on the stove and got so enthralled by this story that I completely forgot about the water and burned my pan up. (Thanks a lot, Ms. Keys, that was my favorite pan.)" Bestselling Author Christina Rozelle
"I might be sleeping with the light on for a few days ... Not because of the monsters that seek us at after midnight, but because of the monsters that reside deep inside each and every one of us." Author Lorraine Sears
Logan Keys says she’s not so much a writer as she is a soothsayer and preparer for those who are still blissfully unaware. Her stories aren’t dystopian but rather a warning for the next generation. When she’s not writing zombies, vampires, superheroes, and robots, she’s fighting against government over-reach and oligarchy using military tactics mixed with a little bit of poetry.
Logan’s currently on her little farm in Kentucky typing away on many projects at once.

Logan Keys has once again released some all new Horror tales (and one bonus SF tale that's one of my old favorites) and she's up to her old shenanigans again.
Want gratuitous death, horrible situations, creepy retellings of nursery tales, or just plain fun anti-hero action? It's all here.
I admit I have a soft spot for horror stories. They make me feel all gushy inside and sometimes on the outside, too. These scratch all my various scary itches.
Sometimes with razor blades.
Island of Doom was quite amusing, beans and all, but my personal favorite was Lost Lane. There's nothing like a little grief nookie to get your head on straight.
Something Wicked This Way Trolls was probably one of the most genuinely scary, in my opinion, even though this was a great riff and The Cave shouldn't be missed, either.
For those who haven't been introduced to Barkley, however, you get one of my favorite robot stories as a delightful bonus. :) Bon Appetite!
What happens when we let down our nice hair and pull out our Horror obsessions, yo?
Hell, just let out your fascination for anti-heroes and a few plainly deluded villains play out and accept their carefully constructed reasons. It's okay. Enjoy this trip down the insane lane.
Some of these stories are just plain-jane serial murderers while a few are truly passionate, but my favorites are definitely "Static Obsession" and "Paid in Full", mostly because such things hit me close to home with my daughter in the latter and the plain creep-factor in the former. :)
Still, there's nothing bad to be said about a little bit of a demon in my life, either, or "Whistle" just knocking me out of my chair.
All I can say is Thank You, Logan, for indulging us poor readers with our crazy appetites. :)
A well written collection of short stories that will surely leave you guessing. To be brutally honest, in my opinion the stories were TOO short, but I haven't read any short stories lately so maybe I was simply not used to such abrupt endings. I would have to say "Snowed" was my favorite yet they all had a uniqueness about them, imaginative indeed. My other surprise was when I realized the author is a woman, one doesn't hear the name Logan as a female moniker very often. The surprises abound here from all angles. Quite the cover also.... Highly recommended.
Robots,Trolls and Cannibals Oh My! Something Wicked This Way Trolls was interesting, and left me wanting to know more about the characters pasts. But my favorite was Barkley the story of a Robot discovering their feelings and the passage of time.I received an arc from the author for a voluntary and unbiased reveiw.
Unhinged is a chilling collection of short stories that gave me a taste and left me wanting more. Although I enjoyed all of them, my personal favorite is The Last Rainbow. I hope the author considers turning this into a full length novel because it is one of the better horror thrillers, even in short form, that I've read in quite some time.
Logan has the turn of phrase that makes me turn back and re-read it. Horror layered, but stripped bare and it put me right into the shoes of those suffering (or killing).
I've just seen the next book is out. I'll be grabbing it.
If this book is any indication of what is passing for horror then I am deeply dissatisfied. There was no horror in this book at all. There was a hint of promise in the last story but only a hint. I am just glad this book was cheap. Don't waste your time reading this mess.
Barkley wasn't really my thing, although it was well-written. The short stories were in line with what I read in the first collection. Pick it up, the first story alone is worth it.
Loved the backbone to these stories, they all fit well with theme. Some I liked more than others, same I felt should gave been fleshed out more. The writing overall was good and the voice in each tale unique and clear. A very fun, crazy read.
Lots of stories....science fiction and creature features.
Great variety of stories....some longer than others. Very entertaining & interesting reading. Really enjoyed the last one!!!! I am already looking for Volume three.
