Filled with good ideas for K-6, many of which I'm looking forward to trying. The freewrite, in particular, seems like a great tool. I also really appreciated the breakdown of how to teach narratives by looking for story structures. I wonder how these ideas would pan out in a French Immersion classroom...
The booklists of model texts for each type of writing are also helpful, and I'm glad that they feature so many Canadian titles too. Again, wish there were a French list, but I know that's not the audience Filewych is writing for...
