Though this book is just over 300 pages, the font was relatively small which otherwise would look like a 500 + page book.
This is an excellent work on understanding the philosophy of Sri Madhvachrya (Dvaita, aka tattvavAda) from a modern angle. The book starts off with philosophical constructs, Aristotelian syllogisms with a detailed introduction to logical positivism, atomism and other related philosophical thoughts and gradually extends the thought to Advaita and culminates with Dvaita. The author (and researcher) Sri Kotabagi had succinctly espoused the key epistemological and ontological tenets of Dvaita philosophy juxtaposed with other philosophical thoughts, east and west.
This book is for those who are interested in learning Vedanta philosophy vis a visa western thoughts and where they align and where they depart.
Quite lengthy but a good book for philosophy reference.
