When We Meet: The Law Is a Lady / Opposites Attract is a romantic duology.

The first story is set in a small town in New Mexico called Friendly. Film director Phil Kincaid is searching for the perfect location for his next film when he is stopped for speeding. His refusal to cooperate with the deputy sheriff lands him in jail. Town sheriff and justice of the peace, Tory Ashton is not what Phil was expecting to find when he was hauled in about his speeding ticket. While he waits for his lawyer, Phil realises that Friendly will be perfect for his film. He just has to win over Tory and her rigid town rules.

Opposites Attract is a tennis themed story. Asher Wolfe is returning to top tier tennis after three years of absence. A mystery surrounds why she left tennis and her romantic partner Ty Starbuck. Now she's back picking up with Ty, seemingly where they left off, but refusing to answer his questions. While her tennis and the romance blossom, past secrets threaten to seep into their lives.

These are two full length novels which share a theme. I enjoyed the first novel the best for its location and characters. The second novel had no set location and the tennis theme wasn't really for me, but it was still a reasonable romance.

Two books in one! In the first one, the lady is a sheriff and falls for a hollywood type, against her better judgement. The 2nd is a lot of drama of tennis players and a nasty marriage to royalty that was
a mistake, but ends well. Wish there was an epilogue.

The first story was decent. It had some meaning and plot, barely. The second one-completely pointless. I’m used to read about this powerful women in Nora Roberts books, so this story “opposites attract” was completely disappointing and different. I didn’t liked it at all.
