More intense drama full of sexual tension from Ember, who delivers the goods in this second installment of her Pride and Honor series. Tasha, aka Trixy, has a past darker than Dylan, aka Twitch, imagined, and as a detective, she has to revisit her hometown and those who betrayed her in order to fulfill her duties and find a kidnapper (Kaylee's ex, from book one). Dylan has his own nightmares from his past, and has to deal with them while trying to convince Tasha that she can trust him with her life and her heart - why should they be alone, fighting their emotional and physical attraction, when they can be there for each other?
Read this in one sitting - couldn't possibly read it any other way. The sex is hot, the emotions fierce, and the story compelling. Can't wait for the next title in this series!

Mystery and excitement
This book has a great story though it is full of many twists and turns. A few too many maybe. But I loved the story and the characters and the romance. The characters are so strong and loyal though definitely human. An enjoyable book.

Dylan "Twitch", and Officer Natasha "Trixy" are thrown together to find a kidnapper who has been evading them. There search leads them to Natasha's home town, where she is forced to face her past demons she ran from 10 years prior.
What awaits Tasha is more than either of them bargained for, papers found by her sister when clearing their childhood home completely turn Tasha's whole world upside down, leaving her questioning everything she's ever know. With Twitch and his family by her side, they begins to search for answers. But the search leads to more questions then answers, and Tasha and Twitch learn their pasts may be connected in an unimaginable way.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book and this series. I cannot wait for the next Pride and Honor series book!

Holy crap what did I just read??? This book had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning! There were so many twist and turns you just didn’t know what was coming next. Believe me I had a lot of WTF moments and wanted to throw my phone a few times! Twitch oh Twitch I think I may have just fallen for you....BUT Tasha geez what is there to say she is fiesty, hardheaded and loveable at the same time. These books just have me wrapped up in them.

Beautiful Sacrifice is book 2 in Pride and Honor series and tells the story about Tasha and Twitch (Dylan). It picks right up from when Beautiful Delusions leaves off. Twitch and Tasha are told to work together on finding Branden, Kaylee's ex, which Tasha is not thrilled in the least about. When the two are forced to go back to Tasha's home town and face her past demons they become close and Twitch is Tasha's support system. The two nearly lose their life doing their job and realize life is too short to not love and hold grudges. Before they leave to go back home, Allie, Tasha's sister drops a bomb on everyone. Tasha learns her life wasn't as it seemed and that the sacrifices she made for everyone were for nothing. Twitch and Mac (Twitch's cousin) were also thrown for a loop with these new discoveries and realized they didn't know the truth about their parent's deaths either. As the group learns more about the truth and the people involved their lives are put in even more danger. This book is jam packed with steamy scenes, action, and suspense. It is a must read and I can not wait for book 3!.

This book was, yet again, a rollercoaster of emotion. From the beginning, with the task to find Kaylee’s children, to end – which I will not spoil any details on! 😉
To the revelations of Tasha’s childhood – woah. I did not think Miss Winters would go on that route for any character. It was hard to read, but Miss Winters (thankfully) left out any deep descriptions on what was happening to her.
I just have one teensy-weensy problem with the book. Twitch was annoying as heck! I don’t think I’ve ever really had a problem with alpha males, but this guy seems to be overbearingly alpha in my eyes.
Was it because of how he treated Marcy towards the end? Was it truly from him being so alpha? I don’t know, people!
Just read this stinkin’ book! I love it! (But, please read Beautiful Delusions first!)

It's a small world
Going from undercover in a gang of nasty men to bring them down was how Tasha first met Twitch. A loner Tasha has a nasty past she has to face. Twitch is beside her in her darkest time but when a file lands on her lap from her sister they are catapulted into Twitches past along with hers. Chasing ghosts through Baltimore and DC they are put into some crazy scenarios but in the end they're in it together. Can't wait for Macs and Marcys story to be told.

Trust and facing what you really would rather not. This book was amazing! I cannot fully put into words all the things that I love about the second installment to this series without giving it all away! I will keep it short and sweet: I loved it!, you will too. Everyone buy this book, you will not regret it. The feels are all there. <3

I love this series so much..
This picks up where book 1 left off but with a different couple.
Dylan aka Twitch and Natasha aka Trixy are thrown together by circumstances. Both are hunting a kidnapper, the attraction between the 2 is explosive.
Their search leads to Natasha's past.. will this be the end or just the beginning..

Twitch and Tasha’s story picks up not long after where Beautiful Delusion left off. There are bad guys to find and mysteries to unravel that just keep getting more and more complex. Sweet and hot love story in a thriller setting and some new characters come into play. This series is great so far. To be continued in Book 3 of the series.

It’s Twitch (Dylan) and Tasha's turn this time.
The details of their traumatic past come to light, along with some other stuff that Tasha uncovers during her investigations. The action and drama scale is cranked even higher and yes, Barnes is in the thick of things yet again. All this just brings these two closer together and proves that are in it for the long haul.

Picks up where book 1 left off but follows Twitch and Tasha. They're working together to bring in Brendan and are forced to go to Tasha's hometown and deal with her demons. Twitch, Tasha, and Mac all learn that their pasts aren't what they thought. This went in such a different direction than I expected, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I love that while they are alpha men, the women are strong and able to stand up to them.

The second book in this series was way more action-packed. So many secrets were revealed not only about Tasha but also Twitch and Mac. I’m feeling like all their stories are going to be intertwined in the rest of the books. I also liked the alpha male attitude Twitch gives off toward Tasha. She’s a badass that eventually realizes she’s in love with Twitch and become badasses together.

Have you ever had to face your past? Well, Tasha and Twitch both need to face their tragic pasts in order to help their family reunite. Tasha is a detective introduced in the previous book that is on Kaylee and Griff's case to find their kids and bring their tormentor to justice. Twitch volunteers to help her find the kid's bio-dad and ends up helping her face those demons. They seem to discover much more than they attended that starts linking pasts into a web of espionage. This book starts leading the series into more than I had expected and I devoured it. The men take care of their strong independent women, not because the women can't do it themselves (which they remind the men several times) but because the men have a need to relieve them of that stress. Of course this book makes you want more of the series and leaves you hanging on until you can grab the next in the series.
