She's an original sin sort of bad
I never should've looked at my police officer neighbor the way I did. We were too mismatched, too different to even hope we could be together. Especially seeing as how he could arrest me at any moment for what I did for a living. But Connor couldn't help being my knight in shining armor, and one last rescue makes me lose what little control I had. To be with him, I have to give up my job and, very possibly, my home on the island. Even then, I don't know if he can ever forgive me for the sins I can't wash away.

He's one of the good guys
From the moment Lola moved into my apartment building, I've wanted her. She's too sweet and seemingly innocent, but it doesn't stop me from lusting after her. There's something about the hours she keeps, though. Something about the life she leads that has warning bells going off in my cop brain. Yet I can't stay away. Not when she needs my help. Not when she needs me. Even if being with her could cost me my future.

All our books can be read in any order, or as standalones. Looking for something quick, filthy, and taboo with a guaranteed HEA and no cheating? Sinful Attraction delivers.

THIS WAS SO FREAKIN' CUTE!

description

London Hale has already proven that they can write sexy romances, but in Sinful Attraction they switched it up and showed that they can also write sweet romances that make you swoon all over the place. Sinful Attraction is a friends-to-lovers romance and it follows our pair, Lola Perez and Connor Nash. They've known each other for two years and while they both have feelings for one another, they've never acted on them...until now. I loved seeing these two get together! Connor is such a gentleman and takes his time with Lo. Lo is driven and independent and even with her rough past, she's still got some sweetness to her. While this story may be cute, London Hale still delivers when it comes to the steamy moments and the chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS with these two. *CRIES* MY FEELS!

I'm so excited for Sinful Distraction. IT'S A COUGAR ROMANCE Y'ALL! I've read romances with age-gap, but never one where the heroine is older than the hero and I can already feel the angst between these two. IT'S GONNA BE LIT.

Sinful Attraction by London Hale is the second book from the Temperance Falls: Selling Sin Series and I loved it!

Sinful Attraction was a heartfelt, sweet, steamy and romantic read.
I loved Connor and Lola, they were passionate characters that captured my heart with their story. I loved how protective, caring and loving Connor was, not once did he judge Lola. He was everything I admire in my male book characters, so many swoon worthy moments.

There was a sweetness to this one, don't get me wrong it's still as dirty as the other books in the series but there's a sweetness to it that wasn't as pronounced in the other books in the series. I really enjoyed that aspect, I loved the contrast of sweet and dirty. I also loved that the hero was an overprotective, dirty talking man bear.

If you're in the mood for a quick, filthy read don't hesitate to snatch this book up or any of the other books in the series, I can't recommend them enough.

Sinful Attraction has got to be my favorite book from London Hale to date. While it was still as steamy as the rest of their books, it had also had a sweetness to it that had my heart entirely too happy. Lola and Connor were so freaking adorable together, I wanted to smush them together. They start off the book as neighbors and good friends who are also wildly attracted to each other. But Lola doesn’t think that Connor will want her when he finds out her secret that she’s a sex worker. Of course she’s wrong because Connor just loves every part of her, and wants to protect her at all costs. He was such a great guy, and I loved how patient, and gentle he was with her. Is there really anything sexier than a romance hero who is delicate towards his heroine?! Lola was a really great girl too. She was hardworking, dedicated, independent, but also had an innocence to her. Connor and Lola together were fantastic together. I loved the trust between the two, and oh my gosh, the chemistry! Just read it, friends. Sinful Attraction was just the perfect balance of sweet and steamy. London Hale only seem to be getting better and better at these short stories.

The team of London Hale is fast becoming my go-to author for sinfully sexy short stories. So far, they have ALL delivered in the delicious filthiness . What I love best is that while they are all off the charts sexy, some are also deliciously sweet .

Sinful Attraction falls under this category. This is a friends to lovers story that is sexually driven but yet sensually sweet. With Connor and Lola, it wasn't their sexual attraction that was the main force in their journey (although #holyballs they were hot together!), it was their friendship that exploded to lovers that was really the attraction in this book. London Hale could have easily made this story all about the sex, but they didn't. They took it into the direction of growth and friendship. THAT'S what makes it stand out! I just loved every word!

Nope, this Hale book did NOT work for me at all.

I hated how the sex work was treated, how she looked down on her clients' kinks, how she hated it [news flash: sex workers who hate what they do is tired as fuck, move on to something else].

Also, I wasn't comfortable with her being from Ecuador and how that influenced her needing to make quick cash by escorting. Related: I'm pretty sure she was described as white? Like, skin and eye color sounded pretty white to me?? Which also rubbed me the wrong way considering her country of origins. Authors: don't do that, just make your damn heroine white and don't try to dip into that lane.

Didn't really care for the hero either, he felt super judgey about her work, even though he'd then think "oh, I can't tell her what to do with her body...but also: ugh, other men had her body and time!". Fuck off. He's also a cop, and frankly his actions in this book make me think he would be one of the "uses his power to manipulate things" cops so hard pass.

The sex was okay but frankly everything else that DIDN'T work for me made it so that the sex was negatively affected, too.

I do not recommend this particular Hale title. Read Sinner instead, it was amazing and sex positive all around. This one . . . not so much. Hoping the next one I pick up from this duo is more like Sinner and less like this one.

Aw, this one was cute. I still wish the guys weren't all the same character type, but I'm always a sucker for an overprotective bear. Plus Connor was a feminist, so I loved him even more for not judging Lola and for always making sure she was okay with things. Lola herself was great, and I really liked that she was able to get out of that life and chase her dreams, and that she had a guy who gave her the courage and space to do that. I'm really looking forward to the next one!

Oh wow, London Hale has delivered another super sexy dirty story, but this one has a really sweet and swoony feel to it as well. I adored how much Connor just wanted to protect Lola and make sure she was always safe and taken care of. Ever since she moved into his building 2 years prior Connor and Lola were instant friends. They were always hanging out at each other's place-eating meals and watching movies-but Lola never let it cross over into romantic territory. No matter how attracted she was to Connor. She had secrets that didn't allow her to be with him. Especially since he was a cop, and her secret job isn't exactly legal. She's afraid that she'll lose him in her life if he finds out what she really does to afford her college tuition. But...she thought wrong.

Connor has wanted Lola since the day he met her. He loves just being in her presence, and he wants nothing more than to take their friendship to the next level. But he can sense that she's hiding something from him. She's always very vague about her job, and Connor has found her leaving at all weird hours as well. He tries his best not to push her to open up and to just be there for her. Whatever she needs- whether it's sitting silently next to her in the church, walking her to her car, or just giving her company. He wants her to know that he can tell her anything, and it won't change his feelings for her. After Connor witnesses a few incidents that leave Lola looking scared and uncomfortable, he insists she stay with him until he can ensure her safety. Connor has decided it's time to tell Lola how he really feels, and all bets are off. Their chemistry is amazing, and Lola finally feels like it's time to trust Connor and tell him her feelings and secrets as well. Their connection was beautiful, and this was a really wonderful book.

I loved this story so much, and from the sneak peek we got at the end I am HIGHLY anticipating the next book as well!! Read this series! You won't regret it.

Connor and Lola are perfect for each other. Connor with his kind heart (and his obvious insane attraction to Lola) and Lola – a sweet young woman following her heart, and realizing quitting her current profession is the right thing to do in order to achieve what she deserves.

Connor is one hell of a guy, taking care of Lola ever since she moved in to the four-plex where he lives on the Island. His instantaneous attraction to her grew to falling for her hard and fast. And when he realizes being her friend is all he can have, he’ll do everything in his power to keep her safe and be a friend to her.

Lola can’t really reveal her chosen profession to Connor, her only friend in Temperance Falls. Being a cop, he’ll be obligated by his job, and on a personal level, no one really wants to date a whore, right?

WRONG!

Lola finds that out the hard way, but with Connor by her side, she can do it all.

I’ll tell you a little secret, the next installment will be so much fun. I love how Ellis and Brighton pair up the characters….. such dirty trope they chose. Delicious.

This little story has it all; steamy sex (whoa!), dirty talk, a fair share of emotional expressions, some light drama and a happily ever after. What more can you want?

Full Review to Come.

Connor and Lola's story as expected was a quick, naughty read which grabbed me and left me wanting more. Lola likes her cop neighbor but doesn't want to put him in a bad position with her secrets so she believes friends is all they can ever be.

But when Connor rescues her not once but twice, he starts to see what he hasn't picked up on before; there's something off about how she spends her evenings.

Connor finds himself drawn further and further towards Lola and after he helps her out, his protective instincts come full force. When he discovers more about her he's even more determined to protect her - in any way he can.

The chemistry between these two is combustible and their friendship bond is growing to more. I really enjoyed watching the push and pull between them as they discovered their mutual attraction and let it take them over.

1.5 stars wasn't that interested in the main characters. Too short to form any like for them. There was nothing to them that sparked an interest and made me the story to be longer. First one was better.

Well, I saw this coming in book one, when Eve, Brandon’s daughter got back from Nathan’s that first night. What surprises me both girls are more mature in a lot of ways than the two guys. They allow the wrong head to lead, causing them to speak before they think. Especially, Brandon. You would think after book one and hearing what made Eve notice Nathan all the more was his lack of interest in her life. It was always about his work.

You could see little changes for about a half a second, but then huge back-stepping. Ignoring Gen for days with late nights during their first week together, but then he calls her to say they had dinner reservations but when she calls in a reminder yup, you guessed it, ‘I’m so sorry but...’ But, she had lived through years of seeing Eve disappointed but of those same sorries and she told him to save it won’t work anymore.

The kicker was after two weeks of endless nights of sex and making plans he opens his mouth when question on who she is he says, Evie’s friend, Gen. Not even by her full name like he always calls her Genesis. For me when he is declaring his love for Gen he is telling Eve about them finally, but at the same time he is saying he’s willing to leave his job, work at their relationship, and do whatever she needs to make her feel wanted.

I was like hold up. What is he crazy. Does he know how long his daughter waited for those same words? An idiot I tell you! A kindle unlimited find.

How Do They Keep Getting Better?

Love, love, love it! Very exciting, keep you glued story. This one has a bit of edginess the others in this series did not, but I liked it.

Lola is living a double life and is more miserable every day that she has to keep her secret hidden from her friend, Conner. For 2 years they have lived as neighbors, become very close friends and kept their desires for each other quiet. But that isn't what Lola is afraid of Conner learning. She has a much darker secret that should it get out, especially to Conner, it would destroy her life as she knows it.
Conner knows Lola is hiding something huge and he has his suspicions but respects her privacy and hasn't said anything or asked any questions.
Then one night he follows Lola and just possibly learns far more than he ever wanted to.
Does the revelation kill any feelings, friendly or greater, that Conner has for Lola? Will it jeopardize Conner's job as a police officer? Is the damage irreparable?

Anti s3x work, pro cop

You'd hope that a book where the main character is a s3x worker (SWer) would be a little more nuanced about SW. It's not. It talks about how her soul is dead from it, or something similar. I think they tried to add some depth by making it clear that she chose this work, but the narrative makes it seem like all SW, and only SW, drains you of your humanity/self respect/will to live. A) plenty of SWers are happy doing what they do. B) lots of non-SW jobs are soul-sucking.
I generally dislike cop stories but gave this one a chance. One of the previous LH books had a cop hero and it was fine. This one had a lot of "cops are all good" type rhetoric, not super heavy, but enough to take you out of the moment. One line that stuck out was something like (hero) "my career is based on keeping my cool in complex situations" and like... LOL.
I've really liked the other London Hale books so this one was a real disappointment. I guess I appreciate that they tried but it was a real miss for me, and probably for any SWer/anyone who advocates for SWers.

That call me Lolita but Connor call me Lo

Hold the presses...could not put the kindle down with this one right here. I loved Connor and Lo story. He didn't judge her. He had glimpses of what she was hiding from him but all the pieces came together and he waited for her to tell him the story. But the scene in the shower of him being the first to suck on her now layers especially in her line of work was priceless. I love how the story flowed and we met other members of his family and seen old characters as well. The run in with an old client was off the chain but it worked out perfectly. You know what I'm talking about once you get the book and it. Now I cannot wait for Riley and Faith Story.

I want this sexy sweet man...

Connor Nash was the sweetest man so far in this series. He was all sex on a stick to but the way he never judged Lola and what she had to do for a living was beyond incredible. Lola just wanted out of the job so she could in clear conscious be with Connor. His protectiveness of Lola is fantastic. Can't wait to read Riley's story.

Good!

I have to say that I thought Connor was definitely the star in this book. He was such a loving, caring and understanding man. Not everyone can handle Lola's profession but Connor took the news and accepted it with no judgement. He was also a sexy, possessive alpha which just added to his stock! Really enjoyed this addition Temperance Falls!

Love the Empowerment of Partnership

These heroines are remarkably strong, and yet they are made stronger for the partners they get. Add these "controversial" topics, and it could get tricky to create a match of a hero, but it succeeds. The end result is good story with three-dimensional characters.

Cuff Me

I enjoyed this quick read. Lola was just trying to make it through school. She came to realize how much she felt for Conner. Conner was in love with Lola and only wanted to protect her. These two have some series chemistry. The sex scenes in this book are off the charts hot. A really good story line as well. I enjoy quick reads like this one from time to time.

The Cop And The Call Girl

After Lola graduated from high school her parents moved back to Ecuador leaving her to fend for herself. Trying to work her way through college she did what she had to do to live. She became an escort. Ashamed she doesn't want Connor to find out. He is the best and only real friend she has. And is also a cop.

So far Lola and Connor’s story was filled with the most spice. I couldn’t believe how much could unfold and so quickly. Connor was her fearless protector through and through. He was safe, sexy and totally in love with Lola. After such a rough start at life she deserves happiness and her Alpha was there to make sure it happened. This was a safe read, HEA and a perfect friends to lovers.

Awesome story

This is an amazing story that kept me excited from the beginning. Lola and Connor have been neighbors and friends for two years. As they begin to become more they have to deal with the past. London brought the characters to life.

A light hearted read. This novel is about a girl who struggles paying her way in life, then ends up like most women doing what she has to. Not sure their is a plot with this one, but like the love interest which is `Lo and Conner.
