I received this book from Goodreads Giveaway. This book was not quite what I expected. Brutal honesty in describing a horrific ordeal for the family. Faith in God although sometimes hard was a steady component in their lives. The youngest talks about God and how God told him he would be in a wheelchair but everything would be alright. God always has a plan sometimes we do not understand it but we know if we look to him things will be the way they are meant to.
I am very upset and sympathize with this tragic story, however I found the story to be very blunt and it didn't capture my interest. My blessings to the family, what does not kill you makes you stronger!
Reading this book I remember when all this happened, but now I see it in a different view. Truly amazing how things happen for a reason only God knows why.
