Jasper "Jazz" Divide had only one regret in his life and that was letting the only woman he ever loved go. It wasn't his choice, he had to leave. As a Navy Seal he had to leave at a moment's notice. Only problem was he left more than just the woman he loved.
Dr. Gray VanZantt never expected to see Jasper Divide again. When his big sexy red-headed body stood up in her practice she nearly had a heart attack. That is if she had any heart left for Jasper. Will she be able to forgive him after all this time?
Thank you for reading my bio and my books! I live and work in Dallas, TX. I'm the mother of two amazing daughters and two fantastic, intelligent grandsons, with one more on the way, and a wonderful son-in-law. I love to cook, travel, and write, but I'm also an avid reader. Being from a military family, my books often center around strong, military men but I also LOVE strong, independent, intelligent women. Visit my webpage at insatiableink.squarespace.com and leave your comments or ideas for future books. Enjoy!
Another story to enjoy. I was really confused about why Dr Gray didn't leave her abusive relationship with her ex way before he killed her and Jazz's little boy. He was a total menace to human kind, but I do believe that these evil monsters from Russia were even worse, but very glad that all got what they deserved. Amazing about coming onto the scene especially how he had his second growth spurt, but sad for him with what he endured at these evil Russian bastards hands. Very glad that Jazz and Dr Gray got their hea and a new baby girl. Happy reading.
There was a lot of history between Jazz and Gray and not all of it good. It sucked that miscommunication tore them apart and more. Yet with this second chance both of them reached out with both hands for it.
With Gray's side work of volunteering at a clinic she found herself in the middle of work that REAPER does best. Things got sticky and a long lost family member showed up, shocking the shit out of everyone and bringing some much needed info.
Things were a bit crazy towards the end, but REAPER did what they do best and saved the day.
I chose this rating because this was a really good book. I really enjoy most of the characters. This was a book of compassion, kindness, betrayal, abuse, manipulation. It was also about getting back with your first love. I really enjoyed Jasper and Gray story. Great read!. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Gray and Jazz had a past full of love and sorrow. But to meet again and still be in love with each other. Mary Kennedy's stories lines are based on things we might not think happen in real life. Baby stealing, child trafficing. In my opinion this is what makes this series so awesome to read. Throw in some bad ass ex military, and kick ass woman. Another great read
A lot going on in this storyline that kept me on edge of my seat until the end. Jazz and Gray' s story of second chance of the love that neither gave up on but life and miscommunication kepted them from each other. Then the youngest brother came home and he's not so little and comes with secrets. Lots of violence and comic relief. Just love this series.
I loved this little addition to the series, Jazz and Gray both are perfect for each other and my heart broke for them, thankfully the author decided to mend our hearts with a happy ever after.
I am following several badass romance series but there are a few that are favorites - this is one! From the first book about Nine and Erin and now to Alec and Lissa, I have it bad for these alpha males.
I have enjoyed this series, but am frustrated by the padding of each book with the repeat of the previous books by 10 to 18 chapters. I end up skipping through until I actually get the the story.
OMG every now and then I have to take a break and read a book or two in between this series, actually it's between this and the Steel Patriots that I can't get enough of!😘
All of Mary Kennedy's books are great. If you haven't read her books you need to get started. There is a lot and you will enjoy how the family grows. Wonderful!!
The underlying issue of human trafficking threads pretty heavily through this series. Gray is an OB-GYN, and was Jasper Divide's first love. They lost each other for a few years and through an amazing coincidence, they find each other again in New Orleans. Gray is at the center of a truly hideous trafficking plot, involving babies and organ transplants. She is brave, and Jazz, Alec, Wilson and the team keep her safe and save a newborn to start a new life with her brand new and most unexpected daddy.
