Super entertaining and hilarious. This is pretty similar to a shonen manga, only that the MC and his rival/buddy really ended up banging each other lmao. Jokes aside, this is really fun to read. To tell the truth, I didn't have much expectation for this book. Judging from the cover, I thought this prolly had a super hot-blooded single-minded stupid but cute kid paired up with an overwhelmingly powerful and mature hot dude. Turned out I was wrong, we have two stupid kids in two different ways and who bicker with each other aaallll the friggin time but at the same time have really good chemistry. I love them together man. But what's most interesting is probably the adults around them. The kids, well at least one of them, is obviously super strong in terms of raw power, but kids are kids and they are no match for adults. It's just pure entertainment seeing how the matriarch and big bro totally have our MCs in the palm of their hand. Full respect to adults who know how to handle difficult kids so well that the kids don't even realize they are being played with. You'll definitely laugh at how cunning and smooth but still lovable the adults are. Very fun and enjoyable and cuteeeeee. Did I mention that the animal spirits are ADORABLE. Little tanuki was so cute I died.
I’m a bit disappointed that this series is more of an episodic romcom fantasy series instead of the epic series like the author’s 薔薇 or 血族 series. MC1 is the rare type of main character which the author doesn’t sugarcoat the fact that he is a hot-blooded and insensitive idiot. In fact, every one, including his family, all agree that he is dumb. He is so dumb that when he was being dubcon’d, he first questioned whether he was a pervert himself, then whether he was gay, and eventually whether he liked MC2.
