I loved the army.Call me crazy, but I ate, breathed, and lived for combat. I’d have my brothers’ backs until the day we died. I was loyal to the core. I sure as hell didn’t plan on having it taken from me—but sometimes sh*t happens.Expendable. That’s what I was to the army. A broken soldier, cast to the side.I needed the adrenaline rush of hitting the drop zone. I needed my rifle and the chaos of battle. I needed my goddamn honor back…The Demented Sons stepped in and gave me my reason to live. Then she showed up and turned my world upside down.
If you re looking for a good MC book, then you will find it here. I found myself ending one book to jump into the next. So now I’m writing the reviews. (I’m a little backwards) I love this series. Mason & Becs are something else. How does there story end?? Jump in & read it to find out!
Book 2 of the Demented Sons Series I in almost as good as Book 1
And book one was truly excellent. Mason and Becca's story takes up where Step and Colton's story from Book 1 ends. Even if you haven't read the first book you will still find the story captivating. Reading the books in order just make the story richer because you already know and like the characters. Great character development and a fast paced and compelling story make this book a great read. I especially liked the first person POV. It was very well written.
Mason's Resolution is a good story....and it will give you all the emotions... Laughter, tears, ahh, angst and anger. Mason and Becca are perfect for eachother. The chemistry between this couple was off the charts and it will burn up your kindle. If you haven't read Mason's Resolution...one click and enjoy the ride. Happy Reading!!!
Oh my goodness. Mason was such an amazing character and I loved that Becca was so real - so human. As in she made dumb choices and then had to deal with the consequences. This couple is a close second to Colton and Steph from the first book!
It was a fairly light story, not as full of conflict as the Reaper, and most disappointing to me was how the author clearly outlined the abuse Becca was subjected to during her kidnapping, but left out how the culprits were made to pay. We don't even know if they were killed or some escaped and will return with a vengeance. Both Mason and Becca were not as shocking a character as those in the previous book.
The saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" isn't quite true, it seems no matter how hard you try the story always follows you home, or in this case comes home to roost. Hookups at wedding do occur, no one was to know, but the best laid plans always go sideways. This book has it all a disgruntled ex boyfriend, a crazy ex lover, a rival Motorcycle club, a kidnapping, plenty of twists and turns, a little action and some intrigue, add in place of sexual chemistry and romance with a HEA and you have one interesting story filled with thoroughly enjoyable characters, well worth your time to read. I can't wait to read the next installment of this series.
DNF. I hate when I dont finish a book no matter how bad it is but I genuinely could not finish this book. It's not that the story is bad but there is hardly any interaction between the characters at all. Its litrally all internal monologue except for a few sentences. I skipped loads thinking that chatter and interaction will come in a bit, but it never did. I honestly cant read a book where is no communication between characters.
I so love this group of guys and the first book. I didnt care for Becca she seemed like an immature 18 yr old annoying pain in the A$$ and the first 50% was too much sex and not enough story and she was just a little borderline skanky at times. Dont get me wrong I love a good steamy sex scene for our H and h but it was like 10 pages of it and then 2 pages of the story. I found myself skimming to get to the plot of the book. I also felt the relationship was rushed and couldnt get into both characters. I loved Hollywood and after the 2nd half of book I was ok with Becca but still not my favorite. I will still read on for the next book so plz dont let this review stop you from reading it. Just my opinion
This is one great read due to the realistic reactions of the characters. Becca is Stephanie’s BFF from the first book. She had been trying to have a relationship with a man that her Mom wanted but it was a dud. Becca was going to visit Stephanie for the bachelorette party and wedding. She came across Hollywood (aka Mason) as he and Reaper were watching over the ladies for safety. These two had a strong attraction and one thing lead to another. . . . Some good things happened and some awful things happened. . . . Realistic reactions, no just brush off and them perfection. . . No spoilers for the main plot, so Read On!
This is the second book of The Demented Son's MC series and was Mason's and Becca's story. I really enjoyed this book except for a couple of little things like what happened to Becca was almost the same as the first book with Stephanie. They might be best friends but they don't both have to do the same thing. Sure hope it's not even close in the next book. How Becca was supposed to be so brave but with her ex boyfriend when she went back home after the wedding, Reapers and Stephanie's that is, she was so weak about leaving.... not enough to keep me from reading the next book though.
Mason/Hollywood is the very handsome, goofy life of the party and you instantly fall in love with him! Becca is a fierce little bombshell who knows she wants more out of life than what she has going on. When the two of them meet for the first time, sparks fly. They were both scared of surrendering their heart which caused multiple roadblocks but eventually they couldn’t deny their love for one other and finally gave in to what was always meant to be. These two were such a fun couple to read with their humorous and fierce personalities and I love they were able to find their HEA.
I really liked Mason and Becca’s story! It flowed really well and after a slow beginning I was hooked! Mason and Becca have a wild night in Vegas and then assumptions end their relationship before it can begin. Life went on for both of them, but that night was a constant memory they both really wanted to forget but loved to remember. I again would have enjoyed the beginning more if Mason didn’t sleep with everything with a vagina but the story line as for why was more realistic this time. Miscommunication, jealousy, promises, and insecurities stand between Becca and Mason’s forever.
Love Mason's character, Becca on the other hand kind of put me on edge, she could've done a better job of breaking off the relationship, she also solidify my opinion of her again almost at the end when she abruptly left like the way she did, but I get it she was dealing with a lot. Over all this is a really great book, you have a hero who's dealing with PTSD, and heroine dealing with how she wants to conduct herself as adult who was a little wild in her
I have a unanswered question about what exactly happened 2 her b4 she was saved. Mason started out getting the wrong idea about her but finally stop being pigheaded and find the truth. But I was disappointed that he mentioned about a sister but yet she never showed up. But when fate shows unexpected journeys she needs 2 realize that she may be confused about things but she needs 2 b strong enough 2 talk about things and work 2gether as a team and talk it through and trust alot
Becca is a school teacher and wild child at heart. Mason aka Hollywood is ex-military and a member of the Demented Sons MC. Becca and Mason through her best friend and his buddy. They have a night of passion in Vegas at their friends wedding. But something happens and Mason leaves pissed hating himself. Will Mason listen to Becca aNd the truth? Will they get a HEA?
Absolutely loved Mason and Becca's story. It's a fantastic read that'll captivate you from the first page till the last. So many emotions with this one. So many ups and downs, twists and turns. You can't even begin to imagine how things will turn out until it's right there. Definitely recommend reading.
Very disjointed, things left hanging, and some editing errors. So what happened to the Demons MC and the meeting? The whole thing was just dropped and left hanging. What happened with her ex? Some things were explained but not everything.. probably the worst of the series so far…
I read this author's first book in this series and loved it💓 I jumped on the next book like it was going to disappear if I didn't grab it! All along I thought this was one of my other favorite authors🤔, same name? Anyway I am so glad I grabbed the first one, because now this Ms Kristine is on my favorite list!
I really like Mason and Becca. They are hot hot hot. The chemistry is off the charts. I really wasn't a fan of Becca s mom because of Trevor he's a jerk. She did redeem herself, though. Poor Becca, I feel so bad for what she went through, but Mason wasn't going to let it beat her. The love he shows her is amazing. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Another awesome read from Kristine Allen! I was totally hooked from the first chapter. The emotion Kristine puts into her books is amazing. PTSD is such a horrible and debilitating disease and Kristine does such a great job of showing how our heroes can overcome it and led a wonderful life.
This was the second installment in this new series and it was worth waiting for. Mason and Becca are a dynamic couple who have some trying times before they can have their HEA. This was written very well and very entertaining..
This is a wonderful series of books that meld the MC life with that of combat veterans. Kristine Allen has created fully formed characters that are easy to love and stories that get you in your heart and gut. You will not be disappointed.
I'm in love with Mason and Becca's story. This story will have you on the edge of your seat. Their passion for each other is hot, hot, hot! Even from the very beginning. So good. Kristine Allen is a fantastic author.
I liked that this carried on from the first book and continues on into the third as well and it was nice to see that the relationships of the characters stayed the same and became stronger
