I am a retired crime lab/crime scene technician, having worked for a local police department for 15 years. Since then, I have become disabled. Forgot to get the extended warranty on the body. In my spare time, I make jewelry, am a photographer, and a full time mom and grandma. My daughter by birth is Catie, and she is the dearest part of my life. Through her, I have 2 daughters by heart, Heather and Kristina. Through Heather and her awesome man, Stan, I have 4 amazing grandchildren, Purgi, Penne, Myles, and Persephene. Besides my human family, I have a canine son, who is my service dog, Darcy. I also have 4 feline daughters (Salem, Lizzy, Dagonet, and Freya ). I now have 5 grandpuppies, 2 grandkitties. Two days after I received my first ever royalty check, I adopted Darcy and Lizzy. Fitting names, I thought. And they resemble the characters. Lizzy is mischievous, yet loving, climbing up high as if she were in a tree. Darcy is extremely protective and loving. He has his shy side, which is clear when around some people, until he comes to know he can trust them.
Great story, Mrs Bennett finally got her just desserts. I have been waiting for this for a long time. I like a story with only a little Wickham and Caroline.
This book contains a great grouping of stories that I have read and was happy to find them together for another reading. I have always found Melanie’s stories entertaining. How imaginative and wildly fun. The stories comes to life and have always made an impression on me. When I read Jaff I want to be entertained and not read the same story told over and over. You get that here! I would recommend reading other stories by Melanie Schertz for you will find her other stories just as imaginative and entertaining.
Three of the author’s early story and the writing is rough. But still, you can see thar the author had very inventive stories to tell. It would be interesting to count how many books she has written and compare that with how many time has come close to dying from violence done to her.
I usually enjoy the books by the author . However, if Elizabeth had to endure more love, she would be dead. The degree of violence did surprise me. I was also disappointed with lack editing in the book. Far too many grammatical and spelling errors. Please return to your usual professional presentation of books.
Although it needs more editing, the story is intriguing and holds one's interest from beginning to end. Elizabeth and Darcy being much younger than other stories relating to P&P.
Three variations inspired by author Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice by Melanie Schertz. Thoroughly enjoyed every single one and will read them again
Three different stories, three different ways to fall in love. In all of these Darcy learns to show his love better than what he was doing. Elizabeth learns to let go of past and stop being so stubborn. Wickham, Lady Catherine, Caroline, or even Mrs Bennet are just awful. Always need a villain they say. Great storylines, well written, and highly recommended.
