I really liked this beautiful little book. ✨(1) the idea of home practice in just 10 min is the key for consistency especially for our daily busy lives and long hours at work ✨(2) ideal both for a beginner and a yoga veteran like myself struggling to find the time for a regular practice. ✨(3) I especially like Sanskrit names and short little sequences designed with ‘trouble shooting’ body problems ✨(4) easy to follow, inspirational pictures and encouraging text / great for a yoga book gift to share the love of yoga
I can’t tell the target audience for this book. It says it’s for beginners but then uses non-beginners phrases and terms. There’s also weird cartoons characters doing some of the yoga poses. There’s no chapter breakdown in the front of the book for the different 10 minute topics (morning yoga, losing weight, hips and thighs, etc..) and there’s no index in the back either. So if I want the Yoga before bedtime section I have to look through the whole book for it. They could have put in less “Notes” sections for me to write on and more relevant information.
Perfect for people who like to chunk up their wellness practices in little bites- try these poses whether you are a beginner or a seasoned yogi. I like the notes section for each pose.
