Nice book to give to that special someone in your life that makes you a whole person. I think sometimes it is the little things that make you feel special; little gifts that just say 'I am thinking about us' that show your special someone that you care. This would be a great 'I'm sorry' book to give after a really bad fight.

কেউ যখন জীবনে এসে জুড়ে বসে, তখন জীবনের অনেকটা অংশই যেন দখল করে নেয়। অনেক কিছু পালটে যায়।
কিন্তু সব সম্পর্ক একটা Expiration date নিয়ে আসে। মৃত্যুর মতই এই তিক্ত দিনটা কবে এসে পড়বে কেউ জানি না।
হঠাৎ দেখা যাবে যাকে নিয়ে ভবিষ্যতের স্বপ্ন বুনে গেছেন সে অতীত স্মৃতি হয়ে গেছে।এ অবস্থা আবার স্বাভাবিক জীবনে ফিরে যেতে বেশ বেগ পেতে হয়।

বইটাতে অবশ্য প্রিয়জন হারানো নিয়ে নয়। দুটো মানুষ একে অপরকে তীব্রভাবে ভালোবাসছে। একে অন্যকে ছাড়া বেচে থাকাও তাদের কাছে অকল্পনীয়। সদা হারানোর ভয় আতংকিত করে তুলছে তাদের। এই ভয়টাকে ছন্দে আর ড্রয়িং এর মাধ্যমে ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে এই ছোট্ট ,মিষ্টি আর কিউট বইটাতে।

Swerling is definitely my second most favorite female comic artist.

I remember, when I went out on my first foreign trip, I bought two of their comics as gifts for my sister and a best friend. It’s very usual for me to buy their books to gift others.

“Me without you” is another adorably cute and cool comic by Lisa Swerling & Ralph Lazar, which would make a great gift for your friends or partner. (I'm keeping this one for myself.)

This is a cute collection of illustrations of scenarios that are incomplete without two. For example:
Me without you is like....
Sky without blue
Foot without shoe
etc.

While I like the sentiment and the illustrations, cannot see myself dipping into it again.
