3 Meant To Be Stars
First reviewed as "A girl with no name"
A girl needing a distraction from life posted a profile on a dating site using the user name Sunshine99, it's here she meets Loverboy99.
So it starts out a little vague and OTT. Well we get a good run down on who Loverboy is and what he does but not sunshine, this all makes sense as you get further into the book. The way they saw each other's profiles on the dating website straight away without even looking at others was the OTT part.
When Loverboy comes to Sydney for his brother's wedding, although she was never going to meet him face to face Sunshine gives in and agrees to meet him. As Loverboy approaches a motorbike hits Sunshine knocking her out while the driver steals her bag and drives off. Sunshine is left with amnesia although she magically remembers who loverboy is.
I trusted him to take care of me.
Trusted him to protect me and keep me safe.
From what exactly I needed sheltering I wasn't sure, but there was a gnawing inside me that I couldn't explain. Something I want to push into the dark corners of my mind and forget.
They go back to Loverboy's hotel where can keep an eye on her until she gets her memory back. They spend lot's of time getting to know each other *wink*wink*, going out and exploring Sydney together. I have to add something Bondi Beach is NOT the best beach in Sydney, sorry I just had to say it lol. Anyway all this time Sunshine gets snippets of memories but it's obvious she doesn't want to remember.
"Let's just enjoy our time together. All we ever have is the moment we're in. The past is done and the future has not yet been written."
So the big 'mystery' of what Sunshine did not want to remember was pretty obvious but it was still good to read how it all played out. There was lots of little twists to this tale but there was one blindingly obvious and easy solution, so for me all the whining and crying over the 'problem' was just uncalled for drama.
I liked this story as the plot was a little different but I have to be honest, I did find myself skimming over the end as I got a little bored.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, except that I would love this book because I am a huge fan of this author, but this book had a lot of surprises. I really don't want to give anything away because I hate spoilers but I do want to say that as one reads and starts to put things together, DO NOT ASSUME that you know where it's going.
This is a beautifully sweet love story. Long before Sunshine and Loverboy ever really meet, they have been getting to know each other. Maybe not the big things, but they've shared a lot of the little things that really help you learn who a person is. Imo, this is not an inst-love story, but a story about soul-mates finding each other, no matter the odds against them. And I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!

ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR HONEST REVIEW
Falling for Loverboy is a sweet romance, with lots of laugh out loud moments and some steamy hot sex scenes. Some twists and turns during the book but overall a good romance story - a unique storyline that will drawn you in.
Highly recommended for Lovers of True Romance, Insta-love and HEA's.

If you're looking for a light hearted summer read, I'd recommend this book.
Don't be dissuaded if you notice that it's book #2 in the series - each book is a story of its own, so can be read as standalones.
When Sunshine agrees to meet Loverboy, the last thing she expects is for it to change her whole view on love. Loverboy is instantly drawn to Sunshine and finds himself feeling protective in a way he hasn't before.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a quick light read, that I thought was slightly less suspenseful than I expected. I liked all the characters but somehow didn't get a sense of depth from them though.
Never the less, I will be delving into Dirty Secrets, book #1 in this series and I'm certainly looking forward to Bentley and Maddox's story, coming in book #3.
I think this will be a great poolside read this summer. Enjoy!

Jani Kay did a great job on this book. The story is well written. I couldn't put this book down. There's many emotions in this story. This book is sexy and sweet with a twist. It has a great story plot. Loved Sunshine and Loverboy. They are perfect together. The chemistry between Sunshine and Loverboy is off the charts hot. The attraction is intense. Sunshine and Loverboy make a great pair. This is a great story. I really enjoyed this book. I recommend reading it. 5 stars! Great book. Thank you, Jani Kay. Great work :)

Sunshine and Loverboy meet on a dating app, and are soul mates just finding each other, despite the odd that are against them. No spoilers from me, you really need to give this one a go for yourself, you will not be disappointed!
Jani had done a fantastic job with this storyline, which is humorous, sweet, and steamy, with twists & turns, which all lead to reading a fun romance. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series, and I highly recommend this authors work for all readers.

5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am a massive fan of Jani Kay books and so happy she's back to doing what she does best. 5 star reads. I loved Sunshine and Loverboy. It was a fun, easy and hot read. And what a twist I didn't see coming. Can't wait to see what's in store for Brentley and Maddox. I highly recommend Falling for Loverboy.

WOW! I am a huge Jani Kay fan and I love every one of her books. Jani's writing has a way of pulling you into her story and this exactly what this book will do the moment you starting reading it.
Falling for Loverboy is a book that will leave you breathless and swooning. You will fall in love all over again with Jani and her amazing writing.
The character Loverboy will melt your heart. He is everything all girls dream of as their perfect soulmate and best friend. My favorite part of his character is that he has flaws and is not afraid to admit them. He believes his flaws make him a better and stronger person. I absolutely fell head over heels in love with this character.
The character Sunshine is amazing. She has no problem showing and accepting her flaws too. She does at points see them as weakness in her character, but soon realizes that these flaws help her be the strong woman that takes control of her life and heart. Her character shows us that sometimes it is ok for the heart to take over because the best decisions are made with our hearts not our minds.
Amazing twist and turns that have you so involve in the story that you feel that you have become part of the story.
The title for this book is perfect just like the story-line. The sex scenes are beautifully written and HOT!! The characters are flawless and breathtaking. It is one of those books that you will read time and time again.

Loved this... such a sweet story of love, family loyalty and online dating. Two brothers one woman what more could you want in a book! Sunshine (aka Poppy Hamilton) a woman betrothed to the most eligible bachelor in Sydney a marriage that would bring two power house business families together... Loverboy (aka Brax McBride) her online dating secret... This book had me hooked from the start and it didn't disappoint with a storyline that kept on giving. A must read series, I can't wait to see where Jani takes me next!

I really enjoyed this great read if I am honest I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. The story is really unusual and that's what drew me to it but I found some of it all a little too beyond the realms of fiction but don't get me all mixed up and hating on this book. As I really don't.
The characters were really endearing and likeable and for me, the interaction between Sunshine and Loverboy was what saved this book for me. The other thing that was great about this book was that you never knew what was going to happen next. It's great that nothing happens how you expect it to.
This book is a good read and I really recommend it. But this is one of my go-to authors. So read it and judge for yourself.

This is a sweet romance that makes you feel good all the way through the story. It is fast paced and very easy to read.
I particularly liked the characters and want to know more about the secondary characters now! Jani has peaked my interest! It's a story within a story and beautifully written.
I totally recommend this to all romance lovers.

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of this author I have never read one of her books that I didn't like.
I loved the concept of this book, two strangers exchange messages on a dating website it's all good fun. However neither of them expected to find someone who they form an intense connection to each other. When 'Loverboy' is in the same city as 'Sunshine' they decide to meet up but something happens that changes everything.
I really liked both characters she is a sweet kindhearted young woman stuck in a situation to please her family. Whereas he's a strong successful businessman who has drifted from his family and feels like he's met the one woman who can change his life.
This story has a little of everything, steamy sex scenes, twists and turns it's a really good romance.

Jani Kay’s a new to me author, so I didn’t know what to expect of her in a writing aspect. Well, let me say this. Wow!! What a story!!!
Mystery mixed in with hot, steamy sex and funny characters made a lovable story.
It starts out as the couple texting back and forth after having met online on a dating website. But when Loverboy asks Sunshine to met for real, she’s scared, wondering if he’ll really be as hot as he is in his picture.
She finally gives in but then something happens and Sunshine loses her memory and she has to rely on Loverboy for help.
I am a hard and fast fan of Jani Kay and will be devouring all she has written and can’t wait for the next book.

There are some surprising twists in this romantic, feel good story. The emotions...all the feels just blew me away. Life kept getting in the way when all I wanted to do was sit down and read non stop. Brax turned out to be such a perfect, romantic heap of sexy man. And with his love and attention Poppy aka Sunshine really learned to shine. As much as she wanted to do what her parents asked if her, she just couldn't accept that as being her future. Love is what makes everything better, not worse. What will be, will be. And I think they will be happy forever.

Loved it! This is such a fun story, with a premise that is new to me. I don't want to give too many details so I don't give anything away. I think Ms. Kay did a FANTASTIC job of revealing the plot twists and turns at just the right point in the story to keep you hanging on and saying "Wait, what!?" I couldn't put it down. Sunshine is a lovable heroine, and Loverboy is a sweet, alpha hero. I'd recommend this book to anyone who wants a fun, romantic, summer read without a lot of angst.

As in true Jani style, I love all her books but for some reason Brax might just be my favorite book boyfriend by her. This book has all the feels and a few twists that you don't see coming. I love that I am unable to predict the ending of her book. I also love that this started out by the main characters finding each other on a dating site. I don't think I've read any books like this one before and that's what I love about Jani's books- they are unique!! Can't wait to see what Bently's book will be like!!

This was so different than I ever thought I would like, but turned out to be one I am eager to read again. It was sexy, it was sweet, and the fact that it was completely unique left me in complete awe. I fell in love with Sunshine and Loverboy and everything, from the descriptions, to the plot, to the sexy scenes left me in a state of bliss.

I haven't read a book in ages that totally kept me turning those old pages,
And this one certainly was one of those, it had everything, excitement, thrill, tension, romance, jealousy and of course a HEA
I thought i knew how the book would pan out, but thoroughly enjoyed the surprise that the mid section brought, and after all who doesn't like a love angst.
5 stars for me Jani, cant wait to read more

Jani kay pulls off romance books just as well as she can write bad a$$ biker books, falling for loverboy is just as hot as all her other books. Two people chance meeting on a dating website leads to a crazy ride, of steamy sex, a twist u can't see coming and such a perfect ending. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Jani Kay never fails to hit the spot for me and she's done it again with Loverboy. Great story line that pulls you in from the first page and just when you think you know what's going to happen,bang, a host of unexpected twists and turns appear.
This book is light, airy, a great twist of a love story and plot with characters you can't help but love. An absolute breath of fresh air, loved it.

I'm kinda biased when it comes to Jani Kay because I love her books so with that said this is a very very good book it's a sweet Romance with just the right amount of sexieness!!! it's got an awesome plot in the writing is amazing and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!

This book should really be named Falling for Mr Perfect.
If they had known what they were getting themselves into, would they have even considered it. This is a fantastic read by author Jani Kay. There are some fabulous plot twist that leave you guessing at many a turn. It's fun and sexy and will happily leave you in a good place. This is a great holiday read and a standalone story to boot.

Its full of twists and turns which leaves you hanging on the edge of your chair
Definitely worth the 5 Stars !!!!!!

Loved this... such a sweet story of love, family loyalty and online dating. Two brothers one woman what more could you want in a book! Sunshine (aka Poppy Hamilton) a woman betrothed to the most eligible bachelor in Sydney a marriage that would bring two power house business families together... Loverboy (aka Brax McBride) her online dating secret... This book had me hooked from the start and it didn't disappoint with a storyline that kept on giving. A must read series, I can't wait to see where Jani takes me next!

I was intrigued by the cover and the title of the book from the start and looked forward to finding who was going to fall for Loverboy and who he was. The story starts with an online dating scenario, and two young people who sign up at the same time. They hit it off straight away and chat for a good few weeks. Loverboy wants to get together with Sunshine and although she feels overwhelmingly drawn to him, she was somewhat reluctant.
Sunshine makes her way to meet Loverboy. He's running slightly late and races to the date with her. The attraction is instant even in the flesh and not just hidden behind the keyboard. The turn of events is a game changer, and I couldn't wait to find out where the two were going to lead me to. I never expected their date to turn out the way it does so to find out what happens, you'll have read it.
Sunshine feels safe with Loverboy and soon put in his charge where he takes her back to his hotel. Loverboy's actual name is Brax McBride. He's a hot, successful businessman and I was instantly drawn to him. Usually into one off flings, there was something about the way he was with Sunshine that reeled you in to learn more about him. Sunshine’s real name is Poppy Hamilton and although she comes across as a sassy intelligent woman, there is something from her past that makes her vulnerable.

The chemistry between Brax and Poppy is really strong, and the banter is almost as if they've known each other for longer than the story tells. You'd think it’s about two people who are so compatible, a run of the mill boy meets girl kind of story. However, it's full of twists and turns that will surprise the reader. Fate certainly has a way of tricking people and things happen for a reason.
I really enjoyed this story. It has a good romantic feel to it with the protagonist’s intensity that makes it a great feel good story. The author certainly can write romance with likeable characters. I liked the side characters and I look forward to seeing more of Bentley, who is Brax's older brother and Poppy’s best friend, Maddox. I'm hoping to see a glimpse of Brax and Poppy in the future and would love to see how they are getting on in their lives. Ms Kay has managed to develop characters that you can easily invest your time with because they're like real people. I highly recommend Falling for Loverboy if you want an easy read with a twist and not too much angst... just the right amount for a book that is centred mainly on the romance.

I totally loved how this isn't the normal kind of meet and fall in love story. It's a bit different BUT I totally could see it happening in real life.
This book had twists and turns and even a few oh my moments. I had so many thoughts to what I thought the answer was and I may have been right on one, but I was also like oh, I didn't even see that one coming at all. I love when a book can do that to me!!
I was swept away with the romance of the story and felt like I was falling in love right with them. The author just pulls you into the story and you're so invested in it that you can't put it down. Steamy hot scenes, some true awww moments (that made me ask myself when's the last time my hubby did something that sweet for me?).

I really enjoyed this great read if I am honest I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. The story is really unusual and that's what drew me to it but I found some of it all a little to beyond the realms of fiction but don't get me all mixed up and hating on this book. As I really don't.
The characters were really endearing and likeable and for me, the interaction between Sunshine and Loverboy was what saved this book for me. The other thing that was great about this book was that you never knew what was going to happen next. It's great that nothing happens how you expect it to.
This book is a good read and I really recommend it. But this is one of my go to authors. So read it and judge for yourself

First I want to start off by saying that I have not read book one in the series. This did not hinder me from truly grasping and following along in this book but I will definitely be going back to read book one.
Loverboy99 and Sunshine99's relationship made me smile. In today's times most relationships either start online or continue online at some point. The fact that the drama and the plot develops so easily that I was done before I was ready for it to end, shows how remarkably the author wrote the characters. Has just a right amount of heat to drama and enough love to make you smile.

I received this book as an arc for an honest review, and I can honestly say having not read any of jani books before I can say that I would most defiantly pick up one a gain and again . I loved how the heart felt promise that was between lover boy and sunshine you can also hope that you find someone that will love you as much. the reason I gave it a four star instead of a five is I believed that relationship between lover boy aka brax and sunshine aka poopy could have had a little more drama between the two ,but all in all I loved the book a and can't wake to see what happens with braxs brother in the next book way to go on a great new book.

The two lead characters meet online and chat for a couple of weeks getting to know each other a bit better but no first names were involved! He asks her to meet him in real life and she has to decide if she wants to take it any further.
Both lead characters are loveable and easy to relate to in all scenes. I enjoyed to romance and passion as well as the touch of drama and sense of humour.
Different from Jani's MC but just as good!
