It’s time for Bear’s winter sleep, but he’s hungry. Millie Mouse is determined not to let her friend go to bed with a rumbly tummy, so she sets off to find some food. But gathering food is hard when you’re so tiny. Millie won’t give up though. She may be small – but she’s got a BIG heart. Children will love this feisty mouse who is utterly determined to help – and to do everything herself. Follow Millie as she scampers through gorgeous autumnal scenes awash with gold and oranges. An adorable, warm story – perfect for snuggling up and sharing with your little one this autumn. From the author of Leon and the Place Between and the illustrator of Don't Wake the Bear, Hare!

A sweet story about a friend going out of their way to help another friend, even though the plan didn't go how mouse wanted. I liked the overall message I gathered from he story, how some friends aren't easy to find.
This sweet story involves a little mouse wanting to help her big friend, Bear. The importance of friendship is the central theme. The illustrations make the story come alive and are quite beautiful.
A sweet and gentle story about friendship, a small mouse attempts to gather food provisions for his best friend bear before he hibernates. However, mouse is too small to carry the meager supplies to bear's cave and arrives with just one berry, only to discover bear already has plenty of food. Bear lets mouse know that one best friend is worth more than anything. Though predictable, softly colored illustrations make this a comforting fall read. Highly recommended.
