With every kiss I fell deeper, ready to move from friends to lovers and positive we were going to be incredible together. Then after the hottest sex of my life, Ethan switched on a dime, and broke my heart.
I can’t forget how he hurt me.
No matter how right this feels.
No girl would forgive him.
Why do I want to? Ache to?
I know why…
ETHAN…
When Avery hooked up with my twin brother it ripped out my heart that she could wrong me that way. I’d had so many fantasies about going to bed with her, but no way would I accept my brother’s seconds.
By the time I realized what had really happened I’d already hurt her so much.
I’m not sure what to do.
The only thing I know is that I have no intention of losing her…

Hello: I'm nearing the time I get to hit release again(SO EXCITED!), and so for all you Parker Saga Family fans I've put Ethan up. I'm really enjoying writing his story and I hope you all enjoy reading it. With each new layer and family member of the Parker/Manzone clan I discover new things about my favorite characters. There's quite a few of the characters you love in Ethan's story: Chrissie & Alan, Dillon Warrick, Graham Carson, and no book about this family would be complete without Kaley & Krysal. Khloe gets introduced to readers for the first time in this book, we have a dash of Jack and Linda in the story, and this book sets up Eric's book(Gone Guy, Sand & Fog #5) releasing this fall.
Anyway, I'm pretty excited about getting to share this story with you soon.
Please take time to add this latest installment to The Sand & Fog Series to you TBR.
WOW..AMAZING!! I truly loved this book, brought me back to the Manzone Family! And truly brings you in as you were there with them!!! Susan Ward you have created a Beautiful, Wonderful Saga with heart and soul..I cried and laughed and definitely screamed a few times ..But it was well worth it..I can't wait to read what happens next!! I am a total fan of your work.Thank you ..Now I want to Start at the beginning again with The Girl Box set!!
Once again you are stepping into the world of Parker/ Manzone. It's a world you will never want to leave. A world that grabs you by the ears and drags you around as you are brought into their lives. Ethan is up. He's the quiet twin of Chrissy and Alan. He's the one that is pushed to the back as his out of control brother Eric steals the lime light in everything, including women. Ethan has his own way of doing things. Always brought into the mix and drama of his brothers life. It's time to teach these boys a lesson. Avery (Sky & Sean's daughter) is back and in the spotlight as a Rock Blogger. She loves her job and has eyes for Ethan. That is until Eric gets to her first and wants help. Ethan is done with being second best and hurt her along the way like she did him, with Eric.
Life lessons are learned in this book. Two young people need to come to terms on what happened and what is being done. Cue in Alan. He's always in the middle of it teaching someone, something. The Sage of this family will never get old.
Susan is amazing at writing this series/saga. She makes you crave more and more at every release.
The next book in this series is about Ethan and his love for Avery. Ethan and his twin Eric are in a band with their best friends. Avery is a blogger who works for them that Ethan has put on an off limits list because of his twin. Ethan is afraid that if he shows interest in Avery, then Eric will make a play for her. For Avery, Ethan has always been the twin she wants but didn't know how to let him know. They keep giving each other mixed signals about their feelings for each other. When they finally get everything right, Eric disappears and lies and cover ups begin. Avery gets with Ethan but he has no recollection of it. He believes she was with his twin, not him. He drives her away until he can't stand it anymore. When he thinks they finally have a future together, Ethan gets another curve ball and doesn't know how to handle it. Looking forward to reading Eric's story next
Susan Ward has done it again! This latest book in the Parker/Manzone saga focuses on the quieter of Chrissie and Alan's twin sons. Ethan has always felt overlooked in his crazy family, often playing second fiddle to his out-of-control brother, Eric, even when it comes to women. He thinks he finally has a shot with Avery, a rock music blogger (who is coincidentally Sky and Sean's daughter), but once again Eric's drama gets in their way and things get really messy.
What I liked the most about this book was Avery's unexpected maturity. She knew Ethan so well and understood what he needed, and was there when he sorted himself out. Alan and Graham are again excellent, but I really gained new appreciation for Dillon in this story, too. He's a great friend to Ethan and frequently made me smile.
Really looking forward to Eric's book, which is teased in the epilogue.
Ethan is a twin. He is the quieter one of Chrissie & Alan twin boys. He tends to play the peace keeper and helps clean up his twin brother Eric's messes. He has been hurt many times by him but still is always there for him.
Ethan has always had feelings for Avery. He is afraid if he shows interest in her, Eric will swoop in and steal her away. There is a time when things get heated and taken out of the friend zone. They both think the next step is them as a couple.
There are some twists to this story. My favorite is what Alan decides to do for his son's. I loved this story!
I had to read the rest of the series before thinking about writing reviews for them. I am anxiously waiting to read The Last Guy.
Susan Ward has done it again! I could not put it down - sneaking time to read every chance I could - and I wanted to finish it, but I didn't want it to end. When I read her stuff I feel like I am in their world...sucked in from the very beginning of Chrissie & Alan's romance & now completely hooked on this entire family! I can't wait to read the next book - Eric's story... Please hurry!
Twins Ethan & Eric are in a band together and when your dad is the world famous rocker Alan Manzone expectations run very high. Eric is trouble and as usual Ethan is trying to keep him from imploding. The band is on the verge of breaking up and the only solace for Ethan comes in the form of Avery, their long time blogger, but can he trust her when everyone he loves has been lying. Family drama, lies and mistrust are the threads of this story but done as told Susan Ward can.
I just can't put the books in this series down, I have loved every one of Susan's book. It is so weird to be reading about one of Alan's little boys who were 6 when they went on his final good-bye tour and area now 26 and all grown up with troubles of their own. Ethan has been in love with Avery since the day he met her (6 years ago) and now has the chance to get their relationship out of the "friends zone", but the universe seems to be blocking them...actually it's the messed up life of his twin Eric that is getting in the way. When Eric leaves the picture for unknown reasons, the doors are wide open...aren't they?? You have to read the story yourself to find out all the craziness, you won't be disappointed.
Twins are so much a part of one another, then you are in Music, family and all the other that goes with it and you have a well written Book! Being Wealthy does not make one Happy, it only gives someone much needed time to find themselves. Eric and Ethan had to have separate time and in the end it worked. Avery was a gift to Ethan, He came to a point where he realized this. Could not put this Book down! Thank You Susan Ward for giving us another 5🌟 Book
Susan Ward has done it again. She can make you feel like you are apart of the family and really know each character. This was another great one!! I received this for an ARC and I couldn't put it down. Parker/Manzone family , oh how I love them. You don't want to miss this!
It was okay it didn't suck me in like I want books to do I gave it 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I love the characters they are amazing the family dynamics are awesome. I just wish there was more flow to the book.
The amount of misunderstandings and assumptions in this book stressed me out. They took way too long to resolve for my likes. I guess I can understand the lies but waiting for the blowup was nerve wracking.
At first, I felt the pace of this book was extremely slow but it continued to improve as it went on. I enjoyed it so much, I think I will give book 5 a try.
This was my 1st ARC. I am so happy to have been able to continue reading this series! I am a Parker Saga junkie! Every book, every twist and turn and never a let down! Susan has that ability to transport you smack in the middle of each story! ETHAN was so worth the wait! I will not give spoilers away but I will tell you that my heart felt like it was on a roller coaster at times! There are some "sayings", from Khloe, and Alan that really hit home and made me think! Absolutely loved Avery! She is definitely perfect for Ethan! I can see a little of Chrissie in her and it made me smile! This is must read! I would advise anyone who not read any other books in this series to start them asap! It will pull it together when you have the background and they are all GREAT READS! I am waiting patiently for Eric's story! And Khloe's too! Keep up the Fabulous work Susan! I am forever a fan!
