Good Series
First, I always start off by saying whether I liked the cover of this series and I did. When I realized that all of the books I ran to download it to my kindle. I had already read the first 3 books, but decided to reread them again and it was well worth it Nick and Caroline are powerful characters that you are drawn to from their very first encounter. This book is a typical woman doesn't know her strength and meets the handsome vampire alpha and they fall in love, fight together, and definitely grow together.
This series I recommend to people who love paranormal romance and the thrill of a great fight scene.

I couldn't go on past book 3
It seems I'm coming up short with the paranormal reads lately. Can't find one that balances the paranormal with the romance. Don't get me wrong, this series is a good read, BUT... it's for action-oriented readers that like the hint of romance (kissing) while the main characters push and pull at one another constantly, as in I love you but I can't sleep with you but we can fight endless, endless battles together against the world because everybody hates us for what we are and no, don't touch anyone else because I'm jealous. That's the heroine. The hero is like be my servant so I can join our powers completely and fully rule over all the supernatural with you at my feet and btw, please let me turn you and then you can be with me and we can finally screw. I got no relief from that by the end of book 3. I didn't think that would change in book 4 or 5 either and refuse to give any author's work less than a four star, therefore I can't read another page. The action is phenomenal and constant though so good work there, Lyons.

This has been a fabulous series. I have really enjoyed watching Caroline become a strong, powerful woman. She has had to see thru the lies she was raised with and take a huge risk on love with a master vampire.
There is a great mix of action and romance in the series. The author's style is to more imply intimacy than be explicit. The twists and surprises keep it very entertaining and you are never sure of who to trust.
It is great to have it as a set so you don't have to wait for the next book. I highly recommend it if you enjoy paranormal romances.

AWESOME SERIES!!!
I wasn't ready for it to end. I wanted MORE!!! I would of liked to know what gifts Nicolas had to give up and it would have been awesome to see the vampires walk in the day. I think we need another battle Lucy.. I'm just not done yet. One more ,,,,,,,PLEASE?????
This was so intelligently written. What a great imagination this author has. I think I'm ready for the Queen of the vampire series spin off. Hope Lucy Lyons is catching all my hints. LOL!!
Highly recommended to anyone who loves paranormal.....WARNING!!! HIGHLY addictive!!

Her powers were her strength oh and his power too
One of the most exciting box sets I've ever read in paranormal romance, Caroline a young witch meets a vampire of great historical power combined they are unstoppable, though many try. This set has everything plots violence, cunning, whit and love, vampires, witches, shifters, hunters and more. Oh and an ending so wonderful get you're box of tissues ready. This is an honest review and is high!y recommended to all lover's of paranormal romance

Authors, take note: (*cough* amanda lee*cough*) I also enjoy not going cross-eyed trying to correct your spelling, grammar, and punctuation atrocities. There were a couple here and there, but it wasn't blatant. Looking forward to more from you!

Wow, I loved the story of Caroline, (Vampire Hunter) & Nicholas, (Vampire). At first it was just a vamp, (who turns out to be a psycho), stealing a girl to feed the awakening Vampire Lord. One thing leads to another and slowly a love relationship evolves, thru all the stories. So many things are happening but it's not confusing in any way. Best friends turn out to be enemies, friendships are made when truths are revealed. Gr8 story. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.

A great set of vampire books!
I truly enjoyed every single story. I also grew to love the characters as i learned more of their personalities as the stories unfolded. I also loved following the authors magical world of magical creatures, and man. How the learned along the line to work and respect eachother strengths, and weaknesses made them stronger for it.

Really enjoyed this series. Some similarities to Anita Blake series without the actually reading of the sex. I did miss it a little but the story was good and you could still feel the emotion and connection of the characters to each other.

I just loved this entire series. Caroline is a favorite heroine of mine and I loved how she grew into a wonderful, mature woman. This was a love story but it was more about Caroline and coming into her own

I really enjoyed the first 3 books. I was a little surprised that books 4-6 were about completely separate characters, it was okay just unexpected. The price for the collection was incredibly cheap, which makes it well worth purchasing.

This series is a whirlwind of a ride. There are many twists and turns along the way with loyalties, faith and friendship tested as well as new enemies and allies made. The growing, unstoppable bond between Caroline and Nicholas has true love put to the test as they fight for themselves, their right to be together, their family and friends along with their very lives. There is a lot of action and suspense, snarky comments, and funny moments throughout the stories to keep you entertained and turning the pages. Each book has its own challenge for Caroline and Nicholas to face and overcome but the underlying storyline solidly flows from book to book, carrying over characters, conflicts and resolutions. It is a great series from start to finish.
This boxed set follows the life and trials of Caroline, who was once a watcher and hunter for the Venetores. Raised by the Venetores and trained to hunt and kill vampires, her entire world shifted when she was kidnapped and presented as a gift to the Master Vampire of Los Angeles, Nicholas. Getting a short glimpse into their world as she is held captive, she starts questioning everything she was raised to believe; seeing a new side to the vampires. After an almost successful attempt on her life, she is saved by the master vampire and finds herself bound to him in the process. Unsure of this new status when she returns to the hunters, she is viewed as a liability and more of an outcast than she already was. Feeling torn between two worlds she does what she can to keep both sides from harm without dividing her trust and loyalties.
