I adore Jake and Livie, although it took me a few chapters to warm up to Jake. He has a bad attitude towards Livie in the beginning, but it gets explained as the story unfolds. Their love is quick due to some suspenseful circumstances but it seems easy and fearless. Heat was a quick read but the story flowed and has everything I love.

Couldn't Put It Down!!!

I really loved this book!!!! Love, mystery, danger, family...... It has it all!!! Looking forward to more books from Mandy Bee!! Defiant 5 star read!!!!!
