The signs of our age point to the nearness of Antichrist. Assessing the evidence of a corrupt world, Father Spyridon, a Greek Orthodox priest, draws together the different strands that reveal how the institutions and international organisations are preparing humanity for the end. The first half of the book deals with the United Nations, the arms industries, banking, the Freemasons, and the various secret elite groups hat control our world. He then gives a clear explanation of the means by which we are being attacked and manipulated through television, education, culture and philosophy. Finally he presents the prophecies of various Orthodox saints who told us what else we should expect. Father Spyridon's warnings will comfort some and anger others, This is a book that many will try to dismiss, while others will find in it comfort and confirmation of what they already suspected was happening. Written in a sober style, Orthodoxy And The Kingdom of Satan is a wake up call for all those who believe that time is running out. "It's Later than you think" we once heard, and the hour may be later than we dared imagine.
Father Spyridon, my favorite based /awake-not-woke Eastern Orthodox priest! Sir, if I decide to enter the church (I'm a Roman Catholic going through the "stages of change" quandary) I wish for you to chrismate me! This book, self published by the Father via Amazon, is full of red pilled truth about a variety of topics, but of course mostly Orthodox Christianity. I've read almost all of his books! This man of the cloth has some talent!
This was a good book, although I can’t say it was an enjoyable read. The author does a good job presenting his case that forces seen and unseen are driving us towards a one world government. The only thing I have against this book is that the author doesn’t cite his sources which makes further study much more difficult.
An excellent book which highlights the threat to all people from the globalist agenda. Father Bailey considers many agents pushing for a "one world" government including multi-national corporations, the United Nations, the EU, global banks and very wealthy individuals. These agents further their agenda through education, attacks on Christianity, war on states which do not share the vision, mass migration, entertainment and the mass media. They are supported by shadowy groups such as the Freemasons, Zionists, and the Bilderberg Group.
The most powerful enemy faced by globalists is Christianity which is under fierce attack throughout the western word. The moral and ethical teachings of the church are undermined by secular governments legalising homosexuality, same sex "marriages", criminalising honest speech and "political correctness".
Many churches have succumbed to these attacks, but the Orthodox Church remains steadfast to the teachings handed down by the Apostles. The evangelical Christians in the USA are also resisting, hence the struggle between Trump's followers and the liberal internationalists.
All is not lost and there are many signs that the tide is turning. Thanks to Father Bailey for revealing what Christians are fighting - "Know one's enemy!"
This book is, unofficially, a follow up of Fr. Seraphim Rose's 'Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future'. Fr. Spyridon spends a great deal of time showcasing just how far down the road to the End Times we just may be, and the underlying forces doing their utmost to bring about the Eschaton. If I had a couple criticisms it would be that this book leaves one with a sense of hopelessness(not the authors intention, quite positive of it), and that he didn't seem to comprehend that the entirety of the Right vs. Left paradigm is a contrived Hegelian Dialectic meant to divide to ease the task of those who seek to rule. Beyond those two minor quibbles, this was an eye opening, and darkly enjoyable book. Lord have mercy.
Fr. Spyridon provides an overview of geopolitics of about the past century. He details the actors involved and how we in the west have slid into living in societies that are intesely hostile to expressions of apostolic Christian teaching.
This book is very much in the same vein as Fr. Seraphim Rose's "Orthodox Survival Course."
This type of books and such a mentality give a very bad example of Orthodoxy and Orthodox followers to the whole world (I am an Orthodox myself). Stop thinking that the whole world is fighting Orthodoxy, no one cares about you, and guess what, no one is at war with you. Stop imagining yourself as the center of the world.
I believe the main purpose of this book is to help us identify and meditate on the two opposite forces, “the holy” and “the evil” powers working in the world. This needs to be emphasized well because most of us including myself live our lives ignoring this massive fact and the impact it have throughout our life.
The evil forces described in the book are those who are physically trying to control the world and humanity. The United Nations, European Union, and the Council of Foreign Relations are working to create one world government. The banks (i.e, Federal reserve, world bank, IMF…) working on enslaving countries with debt so they stay dependent on them.
The Education system being manipulated in a way to create a single world view and opinion on everything. Different secret societies performing evil satanic acts such as sacrificing people, child abuse, pedophilia, and sodomite acts. The Entertainment system being influenced by “the elite” to normalize evil behaviors. Enslavement of society using pornography, and television. (Through movies and shows that promote their hidden agenda).
Promoting Nihilism and Materialism to create a society that consumes whatever it is fed. This is accomplished by the infinite amount of ads people are exposed to daily. Attacking Christianity and moving people away by intentionally promoting scientifically proven inaccurate theories like “evolution”. The list continues. This is all done to create the “new world order” which encompasses one evil world government, one evil religion, and one financial system to control society.
All of the actions mentioned above have one common energy, which is the evil and satanic demons that manipulate the world using people who care only about themselves, and their worldly pleasures.
Reading this book is helpful to connect the dots and realize that those on the evil side are working tirelessly to achieve their goals. We can clearly see the depth of influence and control they already put us christians, by asking ourself the following questions.
Do I attend church regularly? , Do I receive Holy Communion? , Do I control what my mouth speaks, what my eye looks, what my ears listen, and what my tongue tastes ? , Do I pray, fast, prostrate before my lord Jesus Christ? , Am I genuinely humble? , Do I love and care about my neighbor? The questions continue…and I will leave the answers to you, the reader.
well... Father Spyridon elaborates in detail the way the world is going insane and from a spiritual point of view ,how these events are going to reshape our world and the way we worship....this could be called a very controversial book ....but the way it all shakes out...the evidence that he presents...is not opinon....but indeed hard fact....sometimes as it is said...TRUTH is stranger than fiction.....ALL IN ALL A VERY INTERESTING READ ABOUT THE TIMES WE ARE LIVING IN
All Christians, beware and be alert! We are in for reallly tough times and we need to be prepared in our hearts and in our souls. Fr. Spyridon has carefully laid out what was, what is and what is to come. This is must read and has been well written.
https://archive.org/details/orthodoxy... "Alice Bailey was one of the founders of what is today referred to as the New Age Movement. She founded an organisation called the Lucifer Trust which has further spread its influence through the creation of other groups: the present headquarters of the UN is located on the very site where she established the Lucifer Publishing Company (which later became the Lucis Trust). [...] the principles she developed [...] will strike you as an unnerving blueprint of what we see happening around us, and [...] her writings have influenced the UN [...] Bailey’s first point was to have God and prayer to Him removed from all schools. This has happened in the U.S.A. and is certainly close to being accomplished in most UK state schools. She declared that the aim of this was to “ensure that children are freed from the bondage of Christian culture.” The purpose here is to make faith in God a secondary matter, not something worthy of attention in a place of learning. Her second point was to reduce parental authority over children. The aim here, she admitted, is to “break the communication between parent and child.” Bailey recognised that the Christian faith is primarily passed from one generation to the next through the family, and that to end the former the latter must be attacked. It is interesting to note that successive UK governments are desperate to promote greater child care, and even provide families with financial help to break the bond between mother and child, rather than use the financial resources available to increase a father’s pay so that a mother is not forced to abandon her children to strangers. Bailey’s third point was the necessity to destroy the traditional Christian family structure. She believed the traditional forms of family were oppressive but also formed the foundation for nations. She believed that by “liberating” people from families we will also see the destruction of nations. In order to achieve this goal Bailey identified the need to promote sexual promiscuity as a norm through the media. A short examination of television and different kinds of advertising will quickly confirm how far this point has been embraced. The fourth of Bailey’s points was to make abortion available to all. She argued that abortion clinics should be built and health clinics established in schools to advise children about how to access these services. Few schools in the UK publicise the fact that they make the “morning after pill” freely available to students without parental involvement. Bailey understood that this was necessary if young people were to be encouraged to live promiscuous life styles. Once more she believed that Christian attitudes to abortion were an infringement on people’s rights and oppressive. Point five was free people from the concept of marriage as a commitment for life. To this end Bailey promoted easy and quick divorces which she knew would help to undermines the value and meaning of marriage. Bailey’s sixth point was the establishment of homosexuality as an alternative lifestyle. Once more rejecting Christian morality as oppressive she said that people should be “free” to have sex with whoever they wish, so long as it is consensual. She believed that this extended to incestuous and adulterous relationships. She described how this could only be achieved if it was done under the language of tolerance and acceptance with an eventual goal of destroying gender distinction. Already in 2017 we hear liberal voices insisting that gender is no longer to be considered a matter of biology, but a matter of choice. The seventh point in Bailey’s plan was the debasement of art. She described the arts as a means of changing culture and understood that they could be used to desensitise people and so destroy the sense of what is unacceptable in society. Through corruption of the imagination, people are thus freed from the outmoded concepts that she argued imprisoned people’s minds, and she also understood that traditional art can lead people to a sense of the spiritual. Bailey’s eighth point was to alter people’s consciousness through the various forms of media. She wanted the normalisation of hedonism that would then overcome the old social norms and so enable the establishment of new ways of living and being [...] The ninth point was to establish a worldwide interfaith movement. Through this Bailey believed it was possible to break down the perception of Christianity as being something unique or special. Once more the language of tolerance would enable all religions to be given equal standing, particularly in the minds of children, creating the foundations of a single world religion. Evidence for how this is being implemented can be seen in the statement of the Satanic Temple in Oklahoma. In defending their erection of a seven foot tall statue of Satan immediately next to an older statue in the city depicting the Ten Commandments (something the city’s officials considered a reasonable thing to do) the group stated: “Our purpose is not to denigrate any religion or faith, which would be repugnant to our educational purposes, but instead to learn and experience the history of different cultural practices.” [...]
One world government, global elite inciting wars for power and money, secret meetings between bankers and politicians deciding our everyday lives, satanic cults, CIA mind altering experiments. All crazy conspiracy theories, right? This book read like a far fetched dystopian novel but there is so much evidence that it is not. It explains the origin and evil goals of the United Nations, IMF, Zionism. What is the Federal Reserve and do people know they are paying an interest on their own money that is not backed by gold? Why did JFK really get assassinated? Is the war on terrorism really about terrorism or is it about privatization of a nations banking system? Is the education system really there to educate or is there to produce workers and not thinkers? Why is pedophilia Hollywoods biggest problem? How much is the media not telling us? Despite all the that we must stay steadfast in our faith. Very eye opening book!
I am new to the Orthodox faith and had found Fr. Spyridon through his YouTube channel initially. Wanting to learn more, I purchased this and one other of his books. I am so glad that I did! This book, specifically, is full of vital information that has become even more relevant and urgent since its publication date. It covers a number of topics and their backgrounds/history and current states in order to bring clarity to the reader to the World we are living in and what is at play and-- at stake. This book should, if looking around you hasn't been enough already, urge you to become aware of the enemy, his allies and the tactics used and how vital it is that the Church, that those in Christ stand firm and focus on our faith. This book has a great, timely message and I highly recommend it. I only wish it was longer!
Terrifying and informative are not usually adjectives that are seen together in the same sentence. But in the case of Orthodoxy and the Kingdom of Satan, both apply. This book revealed facts and statistics that I was not aware of, and at the same time confirmed what the physical evidence and my heart had been telling me - we are living in the last days before the return of Christ. What I learned, however, is that we are much farther along than I imagined. Read this if you want an explanation to what in the world is actually going on, or if you're already pretty sure of that, read this if you long for His appearing .
The authors analysis makes a lot of sense . We can see that ancient Babylone is alive and well today through the world’s false religions and governments! I have a different point of view concerning the the 4th beast of the book of Daniel which seems that it will be revived . That 4 th beast was the Roman Empire which was the most powerful empire that destroyed and conquered with iron teeth as described in Daniel. But today we can clearly see that the power of Europe , the papacy and the Zionists work hand in hand to bring this world government … wouldn’t be surprised that the final beast would be comprised of all of these players together !
Best thing to read during COVID 19. It expanded my knowledge of occultism in our human history, and helped fill in some missing pieces for me. Please read it no matter what your faith background is. Father Spyridon is incredibly informative about the policies the U.N. is implementing, something that concerns many people during the current vaccine mandates. Stay cautious and informed.
Prayers for wisdom and discernment during this trial.
This book is a real masterpiece. Everything is perfectly written and easy to be read. I would recommend it to the people that are confused from the modern madness, who are searching for THE BOOK that will help them overcome the current struggles. Father Bailey has done an awesome job by writing the truth just the way it is in this wonderful book.
I won't spoil or describe anything, because I believe that the book in itself is way better written, than I could ever describe it.
Very good read on a variety of topics which are extremely important in the modern day. Fr Spyridon shows convincingly that many modern entities are geared towards the destruction of Chirstianity, its ethics, and the Church. My only complaint is the lack of footnotes in here. I do not doubt the author, as what he presents correlates well with other things I've read, but it would be nice to have. Overall, it is a great read for any Orthodox Christian who wants to understand the modern world.
Father Spyridon Bailey makes the case that each individual will have to make the decision either to turn to Christ or not to; within the confines of the Church. To do this for their own salvation but perhaps more importantly for the chance of everyone who knows them.
Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life and we Christians are fighting a war.
The book offered little comfort in the depth of orthodox involvement to better prepare us for the coming. On the other hand, the tricky ways of the Devil is apparently so.
Father Spyriden writes heavily in the style of Fater Seraphim Rose and this book works as perhaps a loose update of Roses own work "Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future"
In this book, he delves into some of the tactics and methods of evils control over man and his works. He looks at historical behaviors and trends in the elite and directly highlights the influx of the Frankenstiens monster of all the religions...The New Age.
The New Age is perhaps the most dangerous and backward world view at work right now. It is pretty much the dominant force of thought, with the young absolutely oblivious to their indoctrination into this cattle religion that has collapsed their ideas and dreams into standard material desires. Informing them that they can actually "become Gods" themselves and that they are possibly children from the Stars. (well, when you read the Apocrypha, perhaps they are)
I highly recommend Father Baileys books. And his youtube sermons are wonderful. Father Baileys focus is teaching people about their oblivious worldliness, and attempts as much as he can, to raise our consciousness back up towards the spiritual higher level.
The book is very interesting and paints a clear picture on who much the world will live in is controlled and run by individuals, secret societies and global institutions that are advocates of anti Christ teachings which don't align especially with Orthodox views and teachings.

Infuriating that there are no sources provided, as it seems a meticulously well-researched text full of insight that should necessarily change one's trust in maintaining a secular notion of realpolitik
