**Don’t miss the epic finale in T. S. Joyce’s bestselling Red Havoc Panthers series**
The countdown is on. Crazy Lynn Matheson has six days until she’ll join all the other shifters who have lost their minds and been put down by their alphas. All she wants to do is get through the next week with the Gray Back Crew as quietly as possible, but some of the big, dominant males in Damon’s Mountains are pushing her to fight her destiny. The main culprit? A tatted-up, motorcycle-riding, trouble-making giant of a man named Jathan Barns. He’s watching her every move, angering the panther inside of Lynn. She wants nothing to do with love, but Jathan is stirring up emotions she never thought she would feel again, and now he’s making her question everything—her destiny included.
The countdown is on. Jathan Barns has six days to save Crazy Lynn. She fell apart when she left Damon’s Mountains, and now no matter what it costs him, he is determined to keep her alpha from putting her down. He would fight every shifter on earth to keep her safe, but he can’t save a half-crazed panther shifter who doesn’t want to save herself. The plan is simple: manipulate Lynn into being the tough girl he knows she is, without losing his heart in the process. But the more time he spends with her, the more he learns things aren’t always what they seem. She isn’t weak like he thought, and as he begins to understand her, it becomes clear that her broken panther might be just the right match for his Bad Bear.

T.S. Joyce is devoted to bringing hot shifter romances to readers. Hungry alpha males are her calling card, and the wilder the men, the more she'll make them pour their hearts out. She werebear swears there'll be no swooning heroines in her books. It takes tough-as-nails women to handle the shifters of Bear Valley.
She lives in a tiny town, outside of a tiny city, and devotes her life to writing big stories. Foodie, bear whisperer, ninja, thief of tiny bottles of awesome smelling hotel shampoo, nap connoisseur, movie fanatic, and zombie slayer, and most of this bio is true.

I really enjoy reading this author's work. Her shape-shifters are broken, over the top, and total dicks... but, they're also loyal, honourable, caring, and would do anything to protect their crew. Throughout this series, we've seen little snippets of "Crazy Lynn's" character and how her crew is devastating close to having to put her down because she is so broken. No one wants to do this because of the damage and loss it would have on the crew. She has one more chance and now 6 days to be saved until the final decision is made, the only thing is... does she want to be saved? Lynn broke my heart with her story and all the guilt she's been carrying around for so long.
This is one of my favourite stories by this author and I highly recommend reading her work. Her stories are short, well-developed and the characters are funny as hell.
Overall, thought this was a decent end to the Red Havoc Panther series (actually one of the author's better series endings, in my opinion) with a smooth hint to the next upcoming series.
I found the revelations and resolutions to much of Lynn's issues satisfying and I liked how her "monster" came into play in regards to the understanding as to why Lynn would "check out" and so on.
Things I didn't like: - Felt more rushed than fast paced. Character development suffered from this, as did the overall immersion into the story. - The overuse of Beast and his son in regards to their psychic powers/prophecies. The past few books, I've felt that it's becoming a crutch in regards to connecting the storyline(s) and at times, grasping at straws. Not saying don't include it - but when you rush the writing/story, it makes including something like this seem "cheap." Trying to push the whole "things happened that should have happened" detracted from the story. Especially because the author is trying to keep Beast's speech pattern (in all honesty, this made the dialogue from Beast seems super forced).
Holy crap, this story broke my heart into a million pieces again and again. It was awesome. I didn't think I'd enjoy Lynn's story, but I was wrong. I'm a total addict to these characters.
Through out this series Lynn has been around in the background, not really there, yet a burden on them all. With the last book moves were made, it was time, either Lynn would make it or she wouldn't. This book was all about Lynn and if she would choose to live or make an alpha put her down. Jathan was right there with her the whole way. You could tell he wanted her to choose to live, but didn't want to get too close to Lynn in case she choose to give up.
I really loved how all the shifters in Damon's Mountain helped as they could. They all fought Lynn, but tried not to really hurt her. Willa, finally was the one that got through to her, to make Lynn realize what she was giving up in giving up. That allowed Jathan the time he needed to bond with Lynn and show her life was worth living.
Lynn going back to Red Havoc was great! They all needed each other, the crew needed Lynn to be whole and home with them, it seemed to heal the last broken pieces within the crew.
The battle at the end was epic! Red Havoc fought hard, had the right allies, all the shifter from Damon's Mountain and the other 2 close crews. The only missing thing was a party with them all celebrating the win.
No one writes shifter romance like T. S. Joyce. Absolutely no one. Crazy and Bad was a story to top all the others, even. Hard to do, I know. But this is one writer with talent like no one's business. I've read every shifter book she's ever written. Crazy and Bad might need a new hash tag...... #CrazyBad .......
Red Havoc Bad Bear by T.S Joyce was a quick read that left me wanting more.
Crazy Lynn was sent to Creed alpha of the Grey Backs in hopes he can save her. But what her crew doesn't understand is she doesn't want to be saved. And that she is counting down the days until someone puts her down. Well until Jathen stepped up. Or manipulated her is more accurate. He showed her the real way a man should treat a women and gave her the hope she needed.
But will it be enough to bring her back to her old self??
I have to admit that I was not really looking forward to Lynn's book because as a mother I didn't care for the fact she left her baby. I just didn't really like her at all. I can't believe how much I love Lynn now. I don't know how you do it, but you are amazing! This book had so much heartbreak, but it showed how people can go though what they might believe is too much and still come out the other side stronger then ever! You are my FAVORITE author! I look forward to the next book and every one after!
I don't know what words are big enough to describe this book. Let's start with fucking awesome. Lynn story is for those of us are feel so broken that we anchor ourselves to the wrong thing/person, but it's also the store of healing. When realize what's truly broken in us and we address it we can all find the good anchor and hold on to it without it controlling us. Lynn's a inspiration for any woman who let a man break her to the point she wanted to give up. Don't ever give fight with all the bad assness we all have inside of us. Bad Ass Girls Rock!
What a fantastic book. I've loved all of the Red Havoc books, but this one takes the cake. So much emotion and inner turmoil just from Lynn alone. Add in Jathan, as well as other things going on....boy oh boy, this was an emotional roller coaster.
Couldn't have been a better ending to this series, as well as ending in a way that's absolutely driving me crazy for more. Can't wait for T.S. Joyce's next book! I think the wait will literally kill me, I need it so bad!
What can I say, bears, panthers, birds, dragons, gorillas, all my favorite shifters are back ,and a few new ones. This reader is in 7th heaven for this. Crazy Lynn a black Panther, is she really crazy or is she just lost and tired, Lynn has gone through a lot and shut down, all she now seeks is death, well Jathan Barns has other idea, he seeks to help her and thinking she is weak, poor Jathan, could not be more wrong, but with each word with each page the story grew and developed, and no matter how hard Lynn tried, there was no escaping her destiny nor Jathan. Back in Damon's Mountains she faces her devils and gains in strength not just for Jathan but from the other crews. There is war coming, will Lynn fulfill her destiny as Beaston told her or will she fail. You will have to read the book, its another fantastic ans great story and I could not help but fall in love again and again.
I'm going to get you addicted to me. You won't ever want to go."
Up till this book I wasn't a Lynn fan so I was not very excited for this book but I ended up really really enjoying it. Lynn is a totally different person than she is portrayed as in the previous books. I absolutely loved everything about Jathan. Also this had all my favorites from the original books it made me so happy!
*WARNING* contains explicit adult love scenes The Red Havoc Crew is just crazy. I got a good laugh out of the book several times. These stories have Many fights and arguments, but the people of the crew stand together through anything. I like the friendship and loyalty in these stories.
Lynn Matheson was mated to a very bad man who played with her and other women emotions. He met his death when he savagely attacked and turned Annalise (RED HAVOC ROGUE). She had been spiraling out of control as we've seen throughout the series.
The first Alpha of the Red Havoc Crew Benson Saber sent her to the Gray Backs for help when she provoked Barret (RED HAVOC BAD CAT) into starting a war with the lions. Lynn has many regrets and her biggest one was betraying her best-friend, Winter.
Giving her precious daughter away when she couldn't take care of her herself came in second. Now all she wanted was to be left alone until she was put down by her Alpha.
"But One Man Stood In Her Way."
Jathan Barns, a bear shifter who didn't believe in love. He did his twin brother Jaxon a favor by getting Lynn the help she needed thanks to his Alpha, Creed Barnett and their crew in Damon's Mountains. While watching over the woman, he and his bear got attached to her. Now she was counting down the days until she was put down.
She'd given up and he wasn't about to let her go so easily. Even if he had to face the entire world to save Lynn, he would. But would she let him do it.
"She Was Worth It."
Both Jathan and Lynn had a crush on each other while growing up but never acted on their feelings. As they started to reconnect, the former realized that there's more to the latter than beneath the eyes.
It was a delightful treat to see old friends making appearances. The way the Gray Backs and Jathan pushed Lynn to keep fighting was well done. She found her anchor. She was missing her Red Havoc Crew, she wanted to face them after what she put them through.
"And She Will Rise."
Like the Phoenix that she was, Lynn rose to her full potential when her crew and mate were in trouble. She and her cat showed the foe never to underestimate them, they were a force to be reckoned with.
RED HAVOC BAD BEAR is the fifth and final book in T. S. Joyce's RED HAVOC PANTHERS series. It was mind-blowing, steamy, an emotional rollercoaster ride and a must read. T. S. Joyce has a way of touching her readers' hearts. 5 fan-freakin-tastic stars.
P. S. Wish I could give it a higher rating! Looking forward to what Mrs Joyce comes up with next.
Pretty sure I'm obsessed with this world of shifters Joyce has created. There will be 3 more books for sure that I am going to get and I can't wait!! Is it July yet?
A good time was NOT had by me. I hated Lynn.Nothing about her was as I thought and I have NO clue why Jathan wanted this selfish B. Crazy ? No, not really, this B lost herself to some sorta selfish BS. Be careful, spoilers there might be. From what I saw from the other books ,especially Eden and Barret's story,I thought surely something tragic had happened to make "Crazy Lynn" ,well, "Crazy". I thought surely it was a badly broken heart . The loss of a child. A child that died. NOT a child she willing gives to her parents because she's lost herself willingly to "guilt". Not guilt that she's killed, maimed, or badly injured someone or soo many of the other` sad scenarios we've all come across reading one of Ms. Joyce's books. No. None of that. Not even the kind of rough to horrible up bringing soo many others have had. She wasn't kidnapped by some evil heartless secret organization, abused by parents who didn't want her, forced to raise herself all alone out in the woods when her parents died and her only friend (a raven) had to abandon her as well. Heartbroken because her mate had died? No. He was dead, but she didn't seem to know or ask or even care. Brody was old news. Nope. She got lost in being become a ginormous people pleaser, and how she'd lost a good friend in the process. Seriously ? Yeah, lost herself needing a certain d bag's "love". That B lost control of her mind and her Crazy AF panther because of that ? No. Seriously ? Lynn doesn't know what it is to suffer is then. That selfish B. Myself and most of the other characters in these books have been thru bleep, that B can't even touch . Yet w/or w/out an animal inside they didn't go self destructive to her point and selfishly hurt others like she did. This B didn't give an F about her friends, family, her own child, her crew NO B O D Y ! No body until "Jathan" (Jaxon is a cool name to me but you can keep a name like this) comes along w/some attention and sex. I guess all the sorry B ever needed was some more "Hot boy" attention. Seriously no matter how pathetic I find lynn, how pathetic is it she is trying to force all these poor ppl to kill her coz she's to sorry to just go steal some pills or jump off a F'ing cliff. No,she wants to force some B to have to do it for her. She's such a huge F'ing coward. Disgusting. Soo many characters like Kane,Clinton,Beaston, and others who truly,TRULY know what Hell life can be and still didn't pull the BS she does. And then she can't/won't be turned around til some guy is sticking his dick in her and wanting to "claim" her deeply sorry A. but then all this is "ok" because this is some BS needed to make her into some "monster" needed to supposedly protect "Grey".These fools who know others are supposedly coming after them, so are they staying up in the mountains shoring up their defenses? Aaaaaa, that would be No. I completely classic TSTL fashion they go down into town and drink at a bar. Seriously ? WTH?!?!?!? They've got ALL of the dragons on hand to help. ALL. OF . THE. DRAGONS!!!! ALL OF THEM. And yet the battle depends of this fool? I call BS! She kills an "Alpha" but Grey almost still bleeds out. That was one the absolute worst justifications for horrible behavior I've ever seen. Hell, even Clinton would have pulled his BS together if he had a kid. I still don't get why almost every single one of Ms. Joyce's characters has to be broken or under the illusion they are broken.I really don't get this one at all. If lynn wasn't going to be given a much better justification than this I wish to hell she'd been killed off. It's what she deserved. Especially w/the message that w/all she had, live wasn't worth the effort til the "hot boy" was giving her his cock.
I look forward to a new release every month and I'm never disappointed when I get done. I believe I finished this book within 24 hours once I started reading it I couldn't stop. I can't begin to explain how much I love about these series! I love how she keeps all the different groups involved in different stories some how like for instance in this book the final crew member for the Red Havoc crew Crazy Lynn as they called her was counting down the days until Creed or some member of the Grey Back Crew would end her or maybe her Alpha Ben Saber would end it for her. Lynn had given up on living and Jathan has made it his mission to make lynn want to live again. Jathan is the twin brother to Jaxon sons of Matt Barns and Willawonka almost alpha of the grey backs LOL I was so excited to read this one because lets admit it everyone LOVES willa that crazy psycho nerd kills me and I knew this book would be awesome filled with all their crazy banter like for instance Jathan takes Lynn on 6 dates because thats how many days she had left on their first date Jathan takes her to Sammys bar and during which something happens which causes lynn to space out into her catatonic state and when she wakes up she realizes shes in the bathroom in Sammys and shes looking at this red head with horned rimmed glasses and she's sitting there knitting something that looks like a giant penis and Willa informs her that she spaced out and Jathan was out back fighting with Nox son of Clinton and asked willa to wacth out for her so she brought her into the bathroom so people wouldnt stare and she was currently knitting a rug for Jathans bathroom a giant peter for her son LOL she tells Lynn that her and Jathan are currently in a prank war and her son is very devious and how proud she is of him it was just too funny. Second thing we see in the prank war Jathan takes Lynn on another date Taco night with mom and dad and when they come into the house at Matt and Willa's they hear Willa fumming screaming about she will kill anyone that dare try and take her worms from her. When Jathan asks her whats going on she fills him in on how she received government forms saying they were going to shut her worm farm down and she even had pickiters over at her farm and it was cut off with police tape. Eventually Willa puts it all together and figures out that Jathan is the one behind it and when he explains how he managed to pull it all off Willa looks like shes about to cry and Lynn actually wants to console her but Jathan tells her to "wait for it" and Willa says to Jathan "I'm so proud of you!" LOL!!!! those two were something else anyways I could go on and on about all the awesomeness of Willa and her family but you really need to read this one and if you havent read the whole series I highly suggest you go back and start from the beginning I believe it was the Ashe crew is where it all started but I am probably wrong look up on T.S. website I'm sure she has a list of reading order you can find you wont regret it!!
Epic finale be fucked. I cannot deal with the emotion this book throws at you. Under all the paranormal aspects of the story there is some deep feels. As a reader it felt like T.S Joyce threw everything into this story bearing heart and soul. I connected to it on another level, felt the pain and anguish. It's a beautifully broken story with a happy ending to serve all.
Lynn is my hero. There is no punishment worse than self punishment and boy did she bleed herself dry with guilt. Hell she was a self destructive bomb on a timer. She hit rock bottom but she came back fighting and yes it helped that she had help but ultimately it was all on her! She fought to live, she found self worth and happiness and she deserved every bit of that and more. She hands down is my favourite heroine of T.S Joyce to date. Something so heartbreaking and beautiful about Lynn'S story, her fight and her happiness.
I love jathan. He was the perfect mate for Lynn. Blunt rude alpha asshole would be a perfect description of him at the start but as the layers peel back you see under the walls he has build around himself. He was fucked up there's no doubt about that but his broken made her whole. He was honest to a fault but it was what she needed.. he didn't lie or sugarcoat things to make her feel better. He treated her like a human instead of a rabid animal. As the story went on I fell in love with him even more because he gave her the hard she needed, he gave her his strong and he gave her his acceptance and love.
Their story was beautifully fucked up. You had to see her truly break so she could heal and he gave her that. Their love was beautiful, their chemistry palpable... they healed eachother. Their story isn't an easy one to swallow but it sucked you in for the beginning. The story is seemlessly written to perfection filled with true heartbreak, hope, love and crazy disfunctional family's that have you laughing so hard you cry. They're cray cray but they make the story epic.
Willa is life. I want a friend like her.
I'm excited to see what she comes out with next! Nox Torren and Vyr's books will Be epic too I can feel it.
I don't know why but this book felt more. She did a brilliant job writting that emotional rollercoaster. It's a definite favourite.
I don’t even have the words to explain the incredible impact Red Havoc Bad Bear has on this series, and even the entire Damon’s Mountains universe. If I could give it 10 stars as a rating I would in a heartbeat.
This is an incredible story and one you should read for yourself. If you have read any of the connecting series of Damon’s Mountains or Red Havoc Panthers then this is a must read story. And I do not use that “must read” phrase often at all.
This is Lynn’s story and she is so much more than we could have ever imagined. The reasons she became the out of control panther looking for her own death are so heartbreaking it is impossible to put that into words. We’ll discover her journey to this time, and meet the man who can bring her back to life. Jathan is a man who doesn’t believe in fated mates or love, yet he goes out of his way over and over to keep Lynn from being put down. In time he will begin to discover why she is as broken as she is now and his mission changes to keeping her alive to helping her live free of the demons, the guilt, the burdens. Live as her unique self. Live as his amazing mate. He will never, ever give up on her and that belief shines through every encounter we read.
I am not afraid to admit that I love these “crews” so very much. It was delightful beyond words to once again have Willa so prominent in a story. She never changes and this “Almost Alpha” is as loving, crazy and funny as always. We’ll run into or hear of all the characters we’ve come to enjoy over these series in one fashion or another. I honestly never want to give the connection with Damon’s Mountains up. And, even though this is the final story in the Red Havoc Panthers series, there is another connecting series beginning next month.
Read this story. You will not regret it. My thanks to T.S. Joyce for bringing us this amazing universe. I’m thankful you shared your imaginary characters and voices in your head with us all. What an amazing journey – that’s not over yet.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
I wasn’t planning on reviewing these books at all, but given the fact that I’ve been completely OBSESSED with them for the past month, it feels wrong not to write somthing. So in the end I decided to write a general series-wide review that I’ll put up on each book—that’s right, all 48—because that’s how much fun I’ve had reading these.
OKAY listen. These books are straight up trash. They are. Romance drama trash to the max. But there’s no denying how freaking entertaining these things are. They’re hilariously funny, extremely cute, filled with action (some more than others), and packed with grade-A soap opera drama. Some of the novels are better than others, but if you need to go brainless for a while and just read something fun, these are the books you need.
All the characters are out-of-this world awesome, but the real thing that sets this series apart is the world building. Joyce has created such an elaborately rich universe with all these characters and I am 100% here for it. I love love love how everything overlaps and that we get to see all of our favorite characters even long after their books are done.
To help keep everyone straight, I even created a family tree spreadsheet like a NERD (Willa would be so proud) which you can view here. Just beware of spoilers.
FINAL WORD
These books are insane trash and I’ve loved every second. If you’re needing some laughs and romance, look no farther my friends. It’s worth the Amazon Kindle Unlimited free trial just to get your hands on these.
This is the fifth book in this series. This book focuses on Lynn. It also takes us back with the shifters from Damon’s Mountains. Lynn was taken to the Grey Back Crew to see if they could save her. Get her to fight to stay alive. Things aren’t looking good, she only has six days left and she is counting down. Jathan, Jaxon’s twin brother. Jathan wants to make Lynn fight to survive and he will manipulate her to do it. He doesn’t believe in love or mating bonds. But he will make Lynn think that he is interested if it gives her a reason to fight. But, Jathan may change his mind and want to make Lynn stick around for other reasons. The more time they spend together the more Jathan wants her for real and forever. Jathan learns that he wrong. Lynn isn’t weak, a broken mating bond isn’t why she is the way she is. It is something else entirely and now he will fight every shifter to save Lynn. Will he be able to do it? This book was definitely one of the sadder books in this whole series. Lynn in so strong she just doesn’t realize it. It was great getting to read about the shifters of Damon’s mountain again. Especially Willa. She is great and so funny. In this book she was fierce and helped Lynn so much. Jathan is a great guy. He is broken but than again which of these shifters isn’t a little broken. Lynn helps him in ways as well not just him helping her. Lynn has a destiny and could be the main person in a huge war involving the Red Havoc Crew. This was a great wrap up for the Red Havoc Series and I can’t wait to read the next book by T.S. Joyce.
This is a redemption arc story for the MFC. She's been around for several books. It was really great to see how each book in the Red Havoc series led to the culmination in this one.
The MMC’s character was a little confusing to me. Usually trauma leads these males to be cold like he is,
“He’d always been half dead inside, an adrenaline junkie who hoped if he did enough wild living, drinking, sex, riding his motorcycle too fast, then never getting attached to anything would be okay, because he could convince himself he was the one living, not the shifters who had paired up.”
But he hasn't had trauma and he's been raised around people who deeply love each other. I just never really got why he was this way. Theoretically, we don't come out of the womb “half dead inside” and he has a great twin brother.
And he has Willa as a mom, who is awesome on a bad day and totally magnificent in this book,
“I want a granddaughter. I want to spoil Amberlynn. I want to watch my son hold her, and I want to see the kind of dad he could be—” … “Tonight, right now, you’ll choose to live or die, and you’ll stick with that decision. Get. Out. Side.”
Her explanation leading up to this fight was so great.
About the MMC, on the flip side, I appreciated how stable he was,
“She felt like a badass because he reminded her that she was and encouraged her to fight. Strength didn’t intimidate a man like Jathan.”
Her strength is beautiful to him, not something to be undercut so he can feel stronger.
Red Havoc Bad Bear is the fifth and final book in this series. This is Lynn’s and Jathan’s story.
Everyone calls Lynn “Crazy Lynn” after she was broken by Brody's betrayal and her animal took control. She’s tired of trying, tired of living and just wants to be put down. In a last attempt to salvage Lynn, the Red Havoc Crew send her to live with the Gray Backs for one month.
Jathan is Jaxon’s twin brother and a member of the Gray Backs. When they were kids, he was drawn to Lynn, but never wanted to have a girlfriend or mate. Something shifts in Jathan as he watches Lynn’s panther pick fights with everyone hoping to be killed. He realizes he wants her to live, and decides he’s going to become that reason.
This book was my favorite of the series. I adored Jathan. He was all tough and bossy, but could also be tender and caring for Lynn. He was honest and straightforward with Lynn and she knew what to expect from him. He was nothing like her ex and Lynn was able to start seeing things more clearly. Jathan also forced her to revisit some the memories she had been ignoring. Lynn grows so much from the beginning to end of this story. It was hard not to feel sorry for Lynn and want her to get better.
Quick Info Standalone/Cliffhanger?: Standalone Part of a Series?: Yes POV: 2 people mainly Lynn ---------------------------------- Meeting the Characters Lynn: AKA Crazy Lynn.. Has had a rough time. Her would be mate mucked her about before leaving another woman (Willow) for her and then leaving her again. She has a baby who she cannot be around as she doesn't trust herself. Shes also trying to get herself put down. Jathan: His Twin brother is already in the pack called Jaxon (I think? Its similar) he is determined to save Lynn and to help her save her own life ---------------------------------- What happens? Lynn is suffering guilt and grief. She feels major guilt over how she treated her best friend Willow but she was manipulated by Brody. Brody and her produced a baby who is currently living with her grandparents as Lynn is unstable. Lynn in the last book or book before is sent to Damon's Mountains in a hope they will help her and sort her out. It doesn't work and she spends a lot of time trying to 'bleed' the pack before Jathan steps in and tries a new attempt to save her. Final thoughts I really felt for Lynn and I loved Jathan in his attempts to save her. Would I read again?: Maybe Would I read this author again?: Yes
As with all T.S Joyce's books, I am sorry to see this series ending, I felt like I was just getting to know the characters and see crew dynamics developing. In saying that, it is always good to revisit Damon's mountains though and hear about some of the previous characters, Wills being a firm favourite of mine, as she is highly entertaining. The older series are still rated higher in my opinion, they just seemed to have more character/crew interaction and have more overall depth, as if the author had more time and thought to put into them. I have felt as if this series in general has been a bit rushed, with all the characters having similar 'broken' themes about them making each story somewhat repetitive. I would really like to see something a bit different from the next few standalone books. It would spike the interest to have the author shake things up a bit with a few twists and turns as I do really enjoy her type of writing and love the variety of shifter books she has written.
