Out Loud: A collection of spoken word poetry

Rate this book
I didn't write this book.
I lived it.
I breathed it.
And more importantly, I said it all out loud.
This book is a collection of poems and prose, a memoir, and a diary of sorts about the growing complexities of life seen through the eyes of a young woman. Each piece brings consciousness to our shared experiences while celebrating our differences. It is meant to embrace and unite. This collection is not made to be read silently but said aloud. If there's a poet in you, you will enjoy "Out Loud",

What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world?
I can't claim to know the answer. But for me writing has been the closest I can come to figuring out the ever elusive meaning of life. It is my fulfillment and I hope that in my random rambling, and rants about my passions and interests that you get one step closer to your bliss."
Kay Whitley (1997-) was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to her single mom. She now writes in pursuit of her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. 'Out Loud', her debut book, is a collection of poetry and spoken word. It is also the evidence of years of dedication and more importantly dreaming.

Inspiring and a work of art

This book is a collection of inspirational poems spoken from the bottom of the authors heart. This really is a work of art, and it should be shared with anyone who could relate or could use a helping hand.
