She asks America’s toughest CEO for help. Wolfe Hawkins drives a hard bargain. And he wants only one thing in return: Miranda's hand in a fake marriage. Say no and she loses her dream. Say yes and she loses herself.
Miranda
Miranda had never been closer to owning her own restaurant. With the perfect location spotted, she had just one week to find a financial guarantor. The only man who would help this immigrant stand on her own feet was Billionaire CEO Wolfe Hawkins, the shrewdest dealmaker American had ever seen.
Wolfe did not need to talk to make his presence felt. His stare made Miranda feel naked and squirm in the Philippe Starck office chair that she sat in. But she stared back with equal determination, not willing to let her guard down.
Her desires for Wolfe were taking over her ambition, but she could let another relationship ruin her life, not when she was so close to her dream. A fake marriage, however, was not a relationship - it was just a business deal - and she would not let it get in the way of her destiny.
Fake Marriage with the CEO is a standalone steaming hot Billionaire romance, that has a super-sweet climax and a guaranteed HEA. This novel is ideal for fans of Penelope Bloom, Melinda Minx and Kira BlakelyThe book comes with a novella sample Don't miss it!
This is the second book in the series, Fake Marriage Bliss Note: The story is 90% of the total length of this book. The rest is BONUS CONTENT
Honestly, this would have been a higher star rating if a specific plot point hadn't been destroyed. It comes out that a character created a lie, except that it wasn't really one at all because it was explicitly stated in the beginning (which I even reread to make sure). Spoiler for this if you'd like to read it:
Other than that, it was a phenomenal book. The characters were intriguing and well thought out. And even the overall story arc was good.

This review is from: Fake Marriage with the CEO (A Billionaire Romance) (Kindle Edition)
Fake Marriage with the CEO by Amanda Horton is a wonderful romance with 2 strong-willed and caring people as "husband and wife." Miranda is a young woman who has the American Dream in sight. She really wants to open the soup kitchen/restaurant she has always dreamed of but doesn't have enough money. She really needs someone to help her out with a loan and she literally almost crashes into him! Wolfe is a billionaire CEO who will lend her the money under one condition. She must pretend to marry him because he needs to be "married." There were sparks flying between the two and it was no time before that "fake" relationship was feeling more and more real. I loved the snarky comments that they threw at each other and it was really nice to see that Miranda had the same kind of strength when she stood up to him. This is one of the sweetest and well-written "fakes" that I've read in a long time.
Miranda had a rough life growing up. Noelle took her in her home to get her off the street. Miranda has a soft heart for the homeless and she wants to get a place so she can feed the homeless. Noelle has Miranda being a manager and Lexi is Miranda's assistant of her place of business. Miranda needs a guarantor so she can get a place she found to turn it into a soup kitchen. She meets Wolfe Hawkins, CEO of Hawkins Pharmaceutical Company and asks him if he can be her guarantor. He agrees if she will agree to fake marry him so his stepdad Bruce won't talk his mother into signing over her shares of Hawkins Pharmaceutical Company. She finally agrees but a lot of twists and turns happen. Will Bruce talk Diane into giving him her shares of the company? Will Wolfe and Miranda fall for each other ? A Must Read! I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily am leaving a review.
Writing Style? Okay but not that good. Somehow it didn't appeal to me. Maybe because it wasn't that emotional...
Characters? Well, our CEO is definitely not my new favorite book boyfriend. He is condescending, arrogant and has no problems with deciding over other people's heads. He tells the heroine about his decisions after he has already made them. Also, he fails to talk to her.
Our heroine? She lets him do as he pleases. And she is the one who apologizes to him the entire time...
The ending was too abrupt for me. I didn't think his apology was fitting or enough. He struck me as the kind of guy who gets everything without ever doing anything for it, which isn't true because he made something of his firm but then again... The whole romance thing just wasn't there...
I would highly recommend reading the 1st book and then coming to this one. Coz it caused a bit of confusion and I couldn't really connect to miranda because I didn't know about her struggle ,that was described in book 1.
This book was CHEESY. I didn't expect a insta - love connection when started reading the book. But Wolfe falls head over heels after just a few hours. The book is fast paced. So I couldn't really connect with Wolfe and miranda. Wolfe seems like a cute puppy and not like a mature ceo/ billionaire.
If you want to read a book that will be finished in a couple hours , this one's for you.
But I'm not sure if I will pick up the other books of this series in near future.
Miranda had a dream of owning and running her own catering business along with a soup kitchen for the needy and homeless. She meets a gorgeous CEO and her world changes when he offers to be the guarantor on a loan from the bank to make her dream a reality. The only catch is she has to agree to marry him. Miranda has never believed in love but this is a business only relationship,or is it?
This started off being a really good story and would have been a great story if a little more depth were added to the characters and their lives. The ending was quite rushed and felt sappy instead of the two truest being in love after such a short time together.
This was a good change from the typical Billionaire book that I enjoyed a lot. Miranda was once homeless and was given a helping hand by Noelle and Hunter. She decides to pass it forward and does what she can to help other homeless but needs a Guarantor to back her fledgling catering business that will also help feed those in need. When she meets Wolf who has his own outreach mission, sparks fly and Wolf sets upon a mission to make Miranda his. There are plenty of twists and turns that will keep you guessing whether they find their HEA.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review
Everything about this story was good in places. Loved Wolfe. such a hot caring character and Miranda wanting to help those less fortunate now that she had escaped that world. However, this wasn't a fake marriage but a fake engagement. And things were left unexplained at times. Mention of an abortion but no real explanation behind it and although Wolfe found out about it, he didn't seem to be curious about it. Not a natural reaction to finding out something like that about someone you love. Also Wolfe seemed to fall in love too easily at the beginning.
Miranda has had a rough life. She knows what it feels like to be homeless, and she only wanted to create a business that would let her use her passion to help others. I enjoyed that about her. I liked Wolfe enough, but he wasn't as forthcoming and protective as I thought he'd be, although he did take care of Miranda in the end. It was a sweet, slightly spicy romance with a suspense element, and it was an enjoyable read. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and also purchased a copy.
This was a fantastic book and I really, really liked it. I loved Wolfe and Miranda. They were so realistic. I could feel Miranda's pain and her determination and her passion. Wolfe was strong, passionate and manipulative. Of course, that manipulating got him in trouble. The storyline was great and just flowed along. My emotions ran the gamut--it was just so good. I volunteered to read and review an ARC of this book. It was so worth the time and the effort. Amanda Horton is a great writer and I will be reading more of her books. It was so good that I went back and purchased it
I really enjoyed the storyline in this book.....just a touch of suspense and who-done-it and I love that in books! I enjoyed reading about Wolfe and his crazy pursuit of Miranda. He definitely has the Billionaire "air" to him with how he goes about getting his girl when he could have saved them all time and money by just saying...Hey, I loved you at first sight! But alas, that would make for a boring story so I liked Amanda's idea much better! I did find myself wishing for more to the story at the end......but it was a very quick, sweet, love at first sight read!
This is a captivating and amusing story. Wolfe is kind, caring, romantic and vulnerable. Miranda is kind, caring, gun shy and determined. When Wolfe instantly falls for Miranda he has no clue how to get her, so he manipulates her into agreeing to a fake marriage. Miranda agrees because her dream is to open her own catering company along with a soup kitchen and Wolfe has the means to make it happen. While Wolfe to make Miranda fall for him, she puts walls up to prevent that from happening. It's a thoroughly enjoyable story with a very romantic ending.
I am absolutely loving this series by Amanda. My heart had broken for Miranda in 'Fake Marriage with a Single Mom', and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her story told, from the humiliation, the fear, and the rejection that she dealt with daily, of her past never being forgiven for things out of her control. Wolfe was just the perfect man, making mistakes, and making things perfect. This was a thoroughly enjoyable story to read. You could read it standalone, but I strongly suggest you read 'Fake Marriage with a Single Mom' first to fully understand Miranda's situation.
I enjoyed this story and recommend if you want a steady flowing read with developed characters and story line.Miranda and Wolfe are the main characters and are brought together through a business deal.I'll just say with all the twists turns ups downs and surprises you won't be disappointed enjoy the story I did. Fake Marriage with the CEO
An enjoyable read with a good storyline. It has a well written story. The book is just a little predictable but it's good and still worth reading. It has romance and characters that you can easily fall in love with. They have good personalities and chemistry that makes the relationship very believable. I thought this was a very entertaining and enjoyable read. I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book.
Fake Marriage with the CEO was an enjoyable read. Miranda's just a woman who wants to help people and open her own soup kitchen. Wolfe is a CEO and needs a fake bride. These two make a deal that will benefit them both. I loved their chemistry. It's an entertaining read with an interesting storyline and likeable characters you will be rooting for. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This book reads like a grown up fairytale and while that can be very good, this book doesn't speak to me. The Insta-love in this particular story doesn't "feel" right. It has a HEA and there was enough interest generated for me to finish reading the tale. I think the author needs to flesh out parts where a little more detail would really help the story connect to the reader. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Fake Marriage With The CEO by Amanda Horton is a fairly quick read, a great choice for those with limited time for reading. Ms Horton has delivered a well-written book. The characters are awesome and lovable. Miranda and Wolfe's story is fast-paced and loaded with drama, suspense, humor and sizzle. I enjoyed reading Fake Marriage With the CEO and would happily read more from Amanda Horton in the future. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
A very determined and altruistic woman marries a CEO with loads of money and loads of baggage! Ms. Horton writes with great flair and relatable dialogue. I delighted in their brash and daring choices and the sizzling chemistry was off the charts! Great characters that made my heart ache and then rejoice and enough back and forth banter that made you laugh and sometimes scream out loud! Terrific entertainment!
This book was a quick read without anything juicy about it. I continue reading hoping it would get better, but it was just the same. I didn't feel any chemistry between Miranda and Wolfe; love interest was far fetch and not believable. Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Wolfe and Miranda have one bump after another in their journey to find their HEA. The drama that they face, is some that can really break people. But do Wolfe and Miranda? Only one way to find out.... A definite story that I look forward to reading again and again.
From the title I expected to be reading one of those sex and nothing else stories, fortunately I was wrong. This romance had a real story and real life passion in it, both love and goals. This was a story with strong yet vulnerable characters, that the reader could either root for or against as the pages passed. This is a rather late review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
afinally, a rich dude who manipulates outcomes. Wait, that always happens, doesn't it. He, and mostly his staff, go behind the scene to manipulate a less worldly person to follow their nefarious scheme...going as far as a fake engagement? All true, as Wolfe went after Miranda. But Wolfe had his eyes on the prize.
Amanda Horton has written another great love story. Miranda has went through a lot in her life. Lucky for her that Noelle helped her out and they become great friends. Amanda shows that you can accomplish anything even if you had a rough life. It's helps that she meets Billionaire CEO Wolfe Hawkins. They make an agreement to help each other out.
Cute story with the rich man falling for the self taught chef.
They both want to help the homeless and needy. She volunteers at a soup kitchen that he provides some food for, and when she saves the day by cooking when the meals he had arranged for are found to be tainted, he looks at her with new eyes.
I am informed that I have just finished a novel I didn't think I'd read. From other reviews, however, I presume it was published with two different titles. This is not the Worst Novel I Have Ever Read. But it is the Second Worst. It is absolutely awful. The author has no idea of grammar (especially verb tenses and use of pronouns), punctuation, point of view, characterisation, description beyond the sky-is-blue/grass-is-green level..... Do yourselves a favour: don't waste time on it.
This was an excellent book. It was well written with a good storyline. I loved how both characters were strong personalities. If you like billionaire romances you'll enjoy this book. It's well worth a read! I received an arc of this book in return for a voluntary review.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I thought this was a good book. It had an interesting plot. The characters were easy to like and it was easy to root for them. I liked that there was a little bit of suspense brought into the storyline. I would recommend this book.
This is an amazing book. I loved Wolfe and Miranda. The characters and storyline are amazing and draws the reader in. I am in love with Ms. Horton's writing and the way she brings her characters to life. A must read for all her fans!!
