Leslie McAdam brings this box set, which has a whole world of characters in it. They are as diverse as they come, from surf god to cowboy to ultra vegan, lawyer, novelist or veterinarian. Big, small, wide, tiny, blonde, latina, bearded, what have you. I think you can see, her characters are anything BUT one-dimensional. This box set however, doesn't JUST include 4 stellar novels, dealing with topics of depression, sexual suppression, self-perception or acceptance, but also a whole bunch of extra short stories, rounding out the world. Stories from main characters and their way down the aisle, to stories about that organic market shop assistant or the guy running the soup kitchen next door. Every little person is so thought through, they all have their own little part in this world and their story told in this. So, this isn't JUST a box set, these aren't JUST 4 novels and some short stories attached as bonus material... this, this is a world.
Let me tell you about this world.. this world is unique. Leslie McAdam does not write about the easy things in life. She challenges herself and her readers. She brings storylines that are unconventional. That don't depict a guy and girl meeting and their biggest struggle is finding a place to bone. No, her stories matter. They talk about life. About struggles, about pain and loss, about love and how we should love, others AND ourselves. About all the little things and moments and emotions that make up this thing called our lives. These books aren't like other books. They are just.. different. Do they tell fictional stories, of fictional people? Yes. Can those have a massive impact on real people who may or may not have faced similar problems? The most certainly do.
Take a chance, I guarantee you will laugh, you will swoon over her delicious men, you will clap her fierce heroines along, you might cry, at least I am, but not because they are all that sad, simply because I am overcome by the strong emotions those stories set free in me. But one thing is for sure, you will never be bored with a McAdam novel.

THE SUN AND THE MOON:
Ryan sure knows how to greet his woman, "then he stepped into my home, dropped the bags and the flowers on the foyer, and grabbed me. One hand curled around my back, the other headed to my ***, as he pressed himself to me." I really Ryan's personality, "I like to plow you," he said, with a gravity-defying grin. I gave him a shove. "I really want to plow you again," he whispered in my ear. "Right now." I loved this book, I really loved Ryan.
THE STARS IN THE SKY:
You know that saying t** for tat well the first few meetings of Will and Marie are in some compromising positions and Will's reaction to Marie's position is most entertaining, "Mr. Handsome Shower Man stood there, staring at me. Then his eyes raked down my body, then up, then down again. Then he shook himself and turned red, shoving his hands in his jeans." I fell hardcore in love with Will, "so, no meat? ***t. What do you eat, girl? No wonder you're so skinny." His brows furrowed and he looked concerned." I loved when Will was sweet, "he looked down at me. "Figure I don't need to be an a***ole to you, even if I am one." Okay. That sounded good. But I still wasn't sure. "And I want those knockout legs wrapped around me again. Tonight." Will is quite the man he's dominant and sweet and boy has some stamina, "Christ, give me a Gatorade," he groaned. "I have stamina, but shit, a man needs recovery time. I'm not fifteen." I loved this book immensely
ALL THE WATERS OF THE EARTH:
I really liked Jake, a way to a single mother's heart isn't food, or good sex (good sex helps), or you attitude but it's the attitude toward the child that gets you into the heart of a single mother and Jake had that down, "he’d learned how to play. He’d let my son teach him how to play. And just like that Jake had my heart. Completely." I liked this book, I fell in love with Jake.
THE GROUND BENEATH OUR FEET:
Jessica is an all action kind of girl, pretty sure Mikey doesn't mind, "when I got into the kitchen, she said, “Let me take care of you. I can’t see what I’m doing. You have to take off your pants.” Before I could react, she shoved my sweatpants down, leaving me in bright blue boxer briefs. “Oh my God,” she whispered, seeing the cut on my knee." Mikey is such a romantic, "he kissed me hard, smacked my behind, and said, “I love dat ***.” I loved this book, I loved Mikey.

Great set of books and a wonderful intro to this author. I loved the characters and the action, each one steamier and juicier. The characters may not all be lovable but the action is. Instant attraction and steamy thoughts turn into action. The lady and her scars who gets more than she bargained for with Ryan after she stops running that is. Who says ranchers can't be howt and hunky and drool worthy even if they are republicans? Says the hippy tie dye vegan who rocks his world and shatters all his preconceived notions. And that's just a glimpse of all the goodies inside that make this a box set you gotta have.
This is my introduction to this author and what a fun time it was. Sexy, mindblowing, steamy stuff you dream of but never have in real life is right here for the taking. Great read and yes I will be back for more from this author.

I found this collection to be amazing. I liked that all the stories linked in some way but the actual story for each person was completed within each book. Kind of like real life where you still get to see random little parts of people throughout life after you are introduced and learn their story. The characters were super diverse and totally relatable. I love when I'm reading and I get to feel like a fly on the wall and everything is well detailed but not to the point of being overly detailed.
Amazing collection! I'm super happy I got to read all the stories and the extras that are included in the collection. Great work Leslie!

These stories are fantastic! Plus you get awesome bonus material in the set
I loved all these stories. Plus reading the bonus epilogues and such...so worth it!! I'm still reeling from the rollercoaster ride that is these books!!! Read them!! You'll fall in love with Ryan, Will, Jake, and Mikey! And you'll wish Amelia, Marie, Lucy, and Jessica were your girlfriends!! Love love love!

Inspirational & Hunky
I love the inspirational women and their supportive men. You tend to see yourself in these characters.
We all have insecurities of some sort. As you walk with the characters on their journeys to self love and care you pick up on a few things that you as a person need to hear as well. I love books like this that occasionally sneak up on you and are a little reality slipped into a guilty pleasure.

I bought the box set because I had read a few of Leslie McAdam's other books and knew I could count on them being Awesome and was for sure going to want to read every one of them. And she didn't disappoint with this series of books!!!! You are going to love every last one of the men in her books!!! They are a definite must read!!!!

The first book in this series sucked me in and I really enjoyed ryan and amelia. The second book with the cowboy will and Marie- good and hot. The other ones not so much. These were pretty much erotica with heart but not an engrossing story line.

Great series!
Everything about this series was awesome. The cast of charters were each a little damaged and that made the series so realistic. I loved the feisty heroines and wise and caring heroes. I want to be in their friend group!
