December: that special time of year that excites me like no other. When Tamzin King stumbled into my life two years ago, I knew I had to make her mine. Which I did. The promises we made that December have stayed with us. They’ve changed us and created an unconditional love that no one can break. She is my everything. But when fear of what the future might hold suddenly hits me, it’s enough to knock me off kilter. I’m a man who stands by his word. I put those I love first, and I never break the promises I keep. Until the day that I do.
KLJ lives in South West England just on the edge of Dartmoor where the moorland goes on for days. It's beautiful, breath-taking and occasionally rather wet. She probably swears way more than she should, her mum makes the best cupcakes in history, and she goes weak at the knees for a man with a five o'clock shadow.
This is second book in the Promise Series and you need to read book 1 to really understand where Noel and Tamzin story comes from.
This story starts off two years from the ending of the last book. They have been going through their relationship and now are expecting a little one. Noel is very protective over Tamzin and would do anything for her when Business takes him away, can he be back in time to keep his promise that he made two years ago? He knows that December is hard on Tamzin, but he has to do this for not only for him for his family.
I love how we get to see not only Tamzin and Noel but the other characters we seen in the first book. I love how we get all the feels just like we did in the first one. I love how it makes me wanna start decorating my house and start baking as soon as I got done reading.
Cant wait to see if we will get more in this series.
what a lovely romantic story. I love Noal and Tamzin they are amazing couple and I hope there will be a other book in there story. I feel sorry for noal with what Alex did to him and the birth of the baby was so sweet i love it
Received an ARC at no cost to author on behalf of Wit and Wonder. So we are two years down the road with Tamzin and Noel, and they are still together in fact Tamzin is pregnant with their first child. Things are not very smooth at the moment, Noel is stressed out and unfortunately has to go away, and Tamzin is not happy. To Noel family is more important and he wants to make sure that the promises he ever made to Tamzin stay true. Will he be able to honor them?
Ok can you just stop it now. This is the follow up read to The Promise of December with Tamzin King and Noel. See .. Just stop it. I cannot tell you how much I love these two characters. Look at the cover ... Its stunning ... Beautiful choice and perfect depiction of Tamzin and Noel ... Sigh ...
Tamzin and Noel's world is changing but their commitment to each other is forever. They are the priority. They are each other's why. Until now ... Noel finds the pressures of work hindering his time with Tamzin and those he loves. Vowing that he won't break any of his words he said to the love of his life, Noel finds himself struggling to balance it all.
This is a wonderful heartfelt tremendous read for the holidays or anytime of the year. It's definitely going in my book as a favorite. There are exceptional secondary characters that I hope we will see in the future. This family needs to live on for a bit longer.
Thank you for the ARC - Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath the Sheets!
I cannot express how much I LOVE Tamzin and Noel! These two are simply amazing and just make me feel happy...
The Promise of Forever is the follow on story to the Promise of December. I LOVED the Promise of December, but this story took things even further for me.
This story is wonderful, and full of the happiness, festivities, Christmas cheer and fun we would expect from these characters. But there is also a real underlying feeling of emotion and anxiety throughout the story.
When Noel finds things spiralling out of control, and work is taking him away from his family, he is at a loss as to what to do. He's always made Tamzin one big promise, which he's vowed never to break... only circumstances look like things are set to change. With mounting pressures from both sides, can Noel sort things out before life spirals out of control for him.
I could really empathise with Noel in this book and really felt for him and the pressures he was under. At the same time the feelings of emotion for Tamzin was also strong with a real push and pull throughout the story with their conflicting fears and concerns.
The book has it all with the tension, the love, the heat and the passion (and my word they're a passionate pair!!). Plus of course the humour between the two characters, but also with the secondary characters too. Ruby is a super little individual in the story and adds some brilliant humour and chuckles as only a child can do!
The build up to this story was super, and my goodness my heart was racing around 80%. I suspected what may be coming, but the way KL wrote it worked wonderfully and built up some great suspense!! :)
I thoroughly enjoyed this story! So snuggle down with a hot chocolate, under a warm blanket, by the fire, and just give yourself some time to read these books! A must-read series that I highly recommend for a quick, fun-filled read with some twists, which will leave you feeling comforted and happy!
Tamzin and Noel, will definitely be a couple I will visit again and again, especially around Christmas when I need to feel some festive cheer and love!

It’s Christmas time again for Noel and Tamzin plus one in The Promise of Forever by K.L. Jessop. This is a continuation of their story from The Promise of December set two years later.
It’s been two years and Tamzin and Noel are still together and going strong. It is Christmas time again and Tamzin is pregnant with their first baby. Noel wants to get his work life together so that he can be home more for Tamzin and the baby. He is ready to be a family man and will do what is in his power to be a part of their lives more.
Noel returns from a trip to Paris, where he was attempting to sell one of his companies. Things are not looking bright. Something is going on with the company and it is keeping him from being able to sell. But it is December and his promise to Tamzin has him returning home. He wants to spend December and the holidays with Tamzin. He wants to enjoy her and be there for support during her pregnancy.
His family is there to support both Noel and Tamzin. The gift of life and family are great joys to behold. Noel and his family make sure to include Tamzin in on all the family traditions and events. Tamzin is still trying to get a lock on what family after her loss. Christmas is still an extremely hard time for her. She leans heavily on Noel because he has been there for her. However, when Noel needs to go away for business, Tamzin is not happy with him. An argument ensues. Noel is not feeling the love; however, he is feeling the guilt.
Noel will do everything in his power to continue to make his Christmas promise a reality. He needs to make everything right for Tamzin. He wants this to be the best Christmas for her before the baby comes.
I enjoyed this book just as much as the first. I loved getting to revisit Noel and Tamzin and to see where life has taken them since we left them. Christmas and babies, two things that always bring me tears of happiness. Beautiful story of maintaining love and finding family. Another four-star read for me and I cannot wait to read more of K.L. Jessop’s work.
Absolutely loved this book and the Series. It's a beautiful love story that takes off 2 years from where book 1 finished. I could put the book down, read it from start to finish in an afternoon. The characters are adorable you really feel like you know them, the plot is great and includes some steamy bits.
This is the continuation of Tami and Noel's story, you need to read book 1 to understand the back story. It's December again and Tami is still struggling with the emotions that come with the festive season and has extra emotions to deal with as they are fast approaching an addition to their family.
Reviewed for Amo's Book Corner.
I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
The wonderful followup to The Promise of December by KL Jessop is just that. Wonderful. A joy to read and soak up all the feels from the previous book. Two years have passed since their first meeting, where Noel played Santa and a drunken Tamzin puked all over his shoes. Time has been a great healer and Tamzin now looks forward to the holidays and spending Christmas with her new family, especially now that she is soon to be a mom herself. The only glitch is Noel’s job. He has to sort out problems there and it takes time away from his homelife. There was some tension and excitement, plenty of heated moments and of course, the superb HEA. If you’re looking for a sweet, Christmasy ‘awww’ feeling kind of book then this is one for you.

This book follows on from The Promise of December where you meet Noel and Tamzin. That book alone was a great read but this book is just so much more. I loved every minute of it and had me turning the pages faster than I wanted to. Noel and Tamzin don't lose their banter in this story as they had me laughing out loud on so many occasions. Little Ruby brings an element of humour to the story to and is just adorable.
It's hot, steamy and has the right amount of tension.
The Promise of Forever is a great follow on read from book 1 that is just perfect for those winter nights.
This book was better than the first one in this series. Wow!! Loved everything about it. I am not going to say much of what I loved because I do not want to give a thing away.
What I can tell is all of this: I love the advice that Noel gets from his mother. I love that Ruby was a sweetheart, who told you how it is even though she was 5. I love that Ruby what she called Noel. I hope there is another book in this series. ☆☆☆☆☆ I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Recommend this book? Yes! Author? Yes! Read more from this author? Yes!
This was the follow up to The Promise of December. I loved it. The emotion that Noel goes through will hit you right in the heart. Tamzin is a spitfire that will keep you on your toes. When anexity and dreams haunt Noel he can't share them which causes so many feelings everywhere. Ruby and Ellen will steal your heart. Do Not Miss This Series.
The Promise of Forever takes place two years after The Promise of December. Tamzin and Noel are adding a new member to their family. Can they make through all their worries over impending parenthood and Tamzin's fear of being alone on Christmas and find their happily ever after. I very much enjoyed reading Noel and Tamzin's story, and look forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed this follow-up. It takes place a couple of years after book 1. There was more angst and passion in this book which I loved. I enjoyed that there was more of Noel in this book and the reader gets to understand them as a couple more. Well worth a read!
Perfect sequel that doesn’t disappoint! For me it was falling back in love with the characters and a wonderful story ... which keeps the door open at the end for a book 3?!? 😉
Noel and Tamzin are back! 2 years after The Promise of December and sweet as ever. I absolutely love these two together, they're so cute and I can't get enough of their banter. Ruby is adorable; like any kid, she has no filter and ends up being quite funny and sweet. I laughed out loud, felt their anxiety, and teared up throughout. I love the magic of Christmas and it shines with their Christmas miracle. You need to read this!

This was a joyful continuation of Tamzin and Noel’s story even with the challenges that they were facing. Once again, their story really honed in on the magic of Christmas but this time it had more focus on spending it with your nearest and dearest. The story didn’t feel rushed and gave a really sweet ending to the characters.
