absolutely loved it. lou's character development was soooo good and I loved how they were able to highlight the difference between their characters which also highlighted the things that made them love each other.

the tension was so freaking thick from the start until the end, especially in the middle. I literally had to pause a few times.

the ending paragraph was anticlimatic, I wished it has more impact :(

Rating: 3.5 stars? Maybe 4 stars

I read this so long ago that I partly don't remember my rating. But it's good enough that I'm rereading it with my girlfriend right now to make her read the story. Harry and Louis have such a great relationship in this one and seeing their relationship slowly develop is everything to me. I absolutely love the playlist and I just genuinely enjoyed this one. It was so wholesome and even though I'm not big on typical Western media, this one was really really cute and I'm in love. It was domestic and gentle and sweet and I'll absolutely read it again.

Personal Summary for my memory:
Louis is a lawyer who works for Anne and he's assigned to go out to Wyoming to get Harry to sign a contract to have some people drill into his land for oil; Harry refuses because the land was his grandfathers and he holds it dearly. Harry and Louis meet on the road while Louis is on his way to the farm and they have a conflict over Harry not moving his cows from the road for Louis. Louis is forced to room at the farm with Harry until Harry signs and eventually they become friendly and their romance takes place. Liam and Niall are farmer side characters here. Louis slowly falls in love with farm life, the work, and Harry, the more they interact. We learn more about Harry like his relationship with his town and in building a queer friendly place in his western community, his relationship with his parents and with the world outside of his farm. It's very sweet and they have moments like when Harry and Louis birth the twin baby cows, or Harry teaching Louis how to lasso, and their crushes slowly becoming more and more obvious before they start dating and Louis takes a vacation from his job to stay in Wyoming. Eventually, Louis goes back to his job and he's forced to return to his own home in Denver. Harry becomes pressured to sell his land (which is struggling to make money) over taxes while they're separated. Louis quits his job; he also looks at the contract that Harry signed and realizes that the property line changes over time and that the oil isn't actually in his farm but in the neighboring land. Louis saves the farm and they live in their small farm in Wyoming forever.

Loved the plot and contrast between Louis and Harry. I feel like the end was dragged a little but other than that it was okay. I also loved the cute moments.
