The brand new Western from Bruce G. Bennett... author of "The Westerner" and "Preachers Corner!"

Just when you thought nothing could surprise you! The new Abilene Junction, by authors John Wesley and Bruce G. Bennett, has more twists and turns than a Rocky Mountain switchback. Gabriel Torrent is once more thrown into the middle of a bubbling cauldron of subterfuge and danger. With sidekick Gray Wolf off on an adventure to locate a dark demon who's been preying on the Apache, our hero is left on his own to unravel a confusing set of events surrounding a Texas election.

This story has more crazy action and adventure than the last three rolled up into one. You'll love the original characters and cotton to all of the new faces. Find out why John Wesley is our bet to be the newest best-selling author in this Bruce G. Bennett inspired new classic. If you have one western to read this week, make it Abilene Junction.

A BGB. Western Adventure (AGTHW.- 7)

BGB. has penned a western adventure about a robber baron that has no definitive character. He is an apparent circle killer, At the same time the Major is after the number one offending killer that was accidentally let loose. This is a very busy western with many objectives in the way and no one wants to help. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

POLITICS, SPIRITUALITY

The situations of this adventure reads like what is happening today. It touches lightly on how American politics were starting to form in Texas particularly, after Reconstruction which affected the Confederate states. There's mention of carpetbaggers from the North, who weren't liked by the southerners.
There's cannibalism exposure, occurring specter who blamed the Apaches, Sioux, Hopi, Arapahoe for the demise of certain settlers. The real target was Geronimo...like I said it's a whole lotta shaking going on...Politics Spirituality and opium
dens what a mixture.

I am truly sorry, but this book never grabbed me in any way. The fist couple of chapters were tolerable, but then it fell apart.

I gave two stars to this book, based on the first two chapters, but I ad fas as recommending the book, I cannot find the justification to do so.
