Escape. Avoid. Ignore the beautiful red head in the office. That is James Riley’s plan.

He moved to Australia for career progression and an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. His lie was so good even he believed it. James wanted to forget his one and only mistake. He wasn’t about to make another relationship misstep falling for the sexy siren.

Ariana Scott thought she wanted a Dom. That choice cost her both blood and tears. A year later, she was still trying to put the pieces of her life back together. Her interest in the sexy British guy was too soon, too fast and because of her job, off limits. But the lure of James Riley was a temptation she can't shake off.

Neither expected their safe vanilla fling to turn serious. But when Ariana’s career, family, and lifestyle are threatened, they are forced to confront their greatest fears—especially when the casual sex they indulge in becomes more than desire.

I received an ARC of this book from the author.

I have read the others in this series and loved them all. This one was no exception.

The story centres around James and Ariana. James goes to Australia for a fresh start and wants to keep away from relationships after his last disastrous one. As soon as he sets eyes on Ariana, all that goes out the window. Ariana also has demons of her own, after coming out of an extremely abusive relationship, and her confidence and trust has taken a big hit

The connection between them is powerful and instant, one they both try hard to fight, but it's a losing battle and they embark on an extremely passionate journey. They both agree that it'll only be a fling, but it turns to something more.

I don't want to give too much of the story away, but the characters spring to life on the pages and the descriptive quality of the author makes you feel you're in the places she's describing. The sex scenes are hot and well-written. The story is well-rounded and a fabulous read.

I cannot wait until the next book in the series.

A sweet, sultry and sexy contemporary romance with all the feels...

I haven't really read that much Rachel De Lune, in fact More Than Desire is my second novel of hers that I've read. She has a very distinctive sweet undertone to her risqué plots which I utterly adore. You can really tell that she writes straight from the heart. However, saying that I still find that she has this way of really tugging you into her story and it's almost as though she keeps you on a leash all the way through so that she pulls you right in and gives you room to breath at the right times. Honestly, having met her earlier this year it's fantastic knowing just how her personality translates into her work. You know what they say— it's always the quiet ones you need to look out for!

Having read the blurb I was pretty sure that I was going to love More Than Desire, however, I actually ended up enjoying it more than I anticipated. It just had all the right feels to make me empathise and develop feelings toward Ariana and James. The pace was spot on and the development of both the plot and characters was blinding. I'm not sure if she has an editor, but this book was verging on flawless and whoever is responsible for that deserves a round of applauds. Plot wise, holy freaking cow— I am so obsessed with this story. I love the idea of turning the whole BDSM plot on its head. It gave the story zing and it was so empowering to have a female protagonist truly take the lead.

I found that the characters in this story were very real, as in, I found that they weren't OTT and unfeasible. They were people that I could've interacted with. Make no mistake, in no way am I calling Ariana and James ordinary. So not the case. Ariana is sweet and sultry, and James is strong and fun. They really balance each other out in a way that they almost develop each other's characters. If that makes sense? Also, they are so damn hot. Seriously, their tango as drooly... yet connected. You could feel all their strings unravelling and tying in knots around one another.

I feel like I really should have read more of the books in the Evermore series, it is totally up my ally. More Than Desire was so much better than I anticipated. I have one-clicked my way through this series, and I will be having some much needed bath time with Rachel's stories and their casts. I could see myself pulling this book out again and again like a hot cuppa on a cold day.

More Than Desire was a great 5 star read.

James has moved to Australia to escape his past, only to have a red haired siren walk into one of his meetings and distract him. Now she’s all he can think about.

Ariana has a past that she’s trying to move forward from. Working for her father is helping distract her until she see’s James in Australia.

James and Ria try to avoid each other instead of dealing with their attraction. James gets warned off by Ria’s father, I’ll have you shipped back to England if you so much as touch my daughter.

When they finally give into their desire it’s hot. James cant stop thinking about Ria and she can’t resist teasing him at work. They continue to hook up agreeing that neither one are looking for a relationship, and boy oh boy these two have some hot and steamy moments. But can you really have such a sexual connection without feelings? How will James react when he finds out about Ria's past?

There is so much more to this great read. I was all over the place on what was going to happen. The secondary characters were great, I really liked Jame’s sister, she was a great support for Ria. These two have a true to life relationship dealing with real issues and we get to see how they work through them. I was really happy with the ending and I’m looking forward to reading more from Rachel De Lune, she pulls you right in with her writing. If your looking for a great love story with some hot and steamy, 1-click and get started today.

From time to time I will come fashionably late to a series that say that each book can be read as a stand alone, and yet, I spend a bit of time very confused anyway. That wasn't the case with More Than Desire, which is book 4 of The Evermore Series thankfully, as I was late to this awesome party because I started with book 3. I'm saying all of that for a reason, because it shows me that Rachel De Lune has an amazingly talented writing style that instantly grabbed my attention and held it without confusion with each person's story. That's not to say that I'm not going to go and read the previous books, because since I'm addicted now, I have to catch up asap! This is James and Ria's story, and it was a great one. He's come to Australia to work for some months as he is working his way up the food chain, and it's there where he meets Ria. He instantly knows that he wants her desperately, but not for a relationship because he has some baggage which has him gun shy. What he doesn't know is that she's the boss' daughter, who is carrying her own set of heavy baggage from a past relationship, so it's shaping up to be a bumpy ride. And that's all that I'm giving up. I really loved Ria a ton, and while her and James were good together, I wanted to shake him more than once for his questionable decisions. With some SMOKIN' sexy time, and a twist or two, this story kept me on the edge of my seat, to where I couldn't turn the pages quickly enough! This book, series (what I've read so far), and author are amazing! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is the first book that I have read by Rachel De Lune.  More Than Desire is part of the Evermore series.  Not sure where it falls in order as it isn't listed.  Even though it is part of a series, it is considered a standalone novel.  I did some research after reading and was extremely happy to find I could read more about this group of friends and family!

So...More Than Desire was great!  I was pulled in from the very start and honestly the only thing stopping me from reading from cover to cover in one sitting was life.  Reading time was a little over 4 hours.  There were only a couple places that were a little lull for me, but for the most part, my attention was held.

There were a lot of emotional pulls for me.  Imagine finding someone and then not really knowing how to make the relationship develop due to a couple different outside issues.  Making this relationship work was tough for Ariana and James.  Not only distance kept them apart but family and difference in sexual/emotional needs.

What I found intriguing about More Than Desire was, in so many BDSM books you find this major alpha Dom finding a sub.  That wasn't the case with this story and that element made reading this story that much more interesting.  To discover how this vanilla man was going to react to her submissive needs and how they would work it out, was something I had not encountered in reading before.

All in all this was a really good read for me, not disappointed in the time I invested in reading.  I am intrigued with some of the other characters in this story as it appears they have their own story in the Evermore series.  I will be making time to go read the other books and it's likely that this author could quickly find her way on my one-click list.

I am giving More Than Desire 5 stars.

Independent Reviewer for Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

This was a pretty good read. The story line flowed well, the characters were fun, and boy was it steamy! This is a standalone book in a series and I will agree that it truly can be read as a standalone. I didn’t feel like I was missing any of the story nor did I feel confused at the start.

These two characters provided an intriguing story. They were feisty, flirty, and knew what they wanted, even if they didn’t think they did. Their chemistry was sizzling at times but really drew the reader into the story.

Details and descriptions were great. One thing that was weird, as an American, was some of the language and some of the spelling. It was hard to read in spots just for that reason, but what I loved, was the author was prepared for this, and provided a section in the back for reference. It didn’t make the story “bad” by any means and didn’t cause me to reduce my star rating. It’s just something I feel is important to mention. Don’t let it be the reason you don’t read this book, you’ll kick yourself late for it!

As I stated above that this was part of a series, I think it would be worth checking out the other stories in the series. The author writes a great story and I think the other books would provide a great read as well.

More Than Desire is a part of the Evermore Series and can be read as a standalone. I have not read books 1 - 2 or 2.5 and know that I need, no not need want to read them. Just so I know who is whom.

This is James (Jess in book 3 is his sister) and Ariana’s (Ria) story. BTW I liked Jess much better in this book. I didn’t like Jess in book 3. But, she has redeemed herself. James moves from London to Australia. He falls for Ria (the boss’s daughter and her father warns James to stop seeing Ria) Ria is submissive by nature and is looking for a Dom. Oh did I tell you that there are some HOT as you know what scenes in this book. Now you will have to read the rest of the story.

I enjoyed reading More Than Desire. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. I also loved the letter at the beginning of this book explaining that Rachel De Lune is from the UK and that there are certain words like favorite (US spelling) and favourite (UK spelling). That she hasn’t spelled anything incorrectly. So, please give her a break.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I give More Than Desire 4.5 stars and am looking forward to Rachel De Lune’s next book whatever that may be.

The fourth book in this series, this time it's James story. James is the brother of Jess who we met in the previous book, and yes this one is entirely standalone even if a few of the characters spoken about or met in this book are from previous stories.

James has moved to Australia on a work placement to get over his failed marriage and to start fresh, hopefully get promoted quicker to partner. What he didn't count on was Ria. Ria the woman who walks into his meeting and pulls him under her spell.

Ria is a woman who is trying to get over her last relationship, one where her sense of self and submission was abused horrendously. Meeting James, it was meant to be a quick fling, get her back on the male train and nothing else, except with a few weeks it had become much more.

However their relationship became much more and wedges were driven, and with a separation that neither expected a reunion and an admission by Ria, serves to turn this fling into a relationship that neither expected.

The relationship between these two was rocky and I felt true to life as the author did a good job in showing the difficulties two people with different experiences, expectations face when looking at a relationship. Although I didn't connect deeply with the characters, I cared about their ending the story that was being told, so for me this story was interesting. The sexy scenes were flavourful and hot, and connected, which I really liked. All in all if you've previously enjoyed the other stories then no doubt this will capture you.

This is the second book I have read of Rachel De Lune's and I love this one as much as the first.
James and Ria's story will strike a note with every romance reader because of how real these characters are. Their story is one that I honestly thought was going to go one way, but was pleasantly surprised when it took a turn that I absolutely loved. The story is as much about finding compromise in a relationship without compromising yourself. It shows you that there are times when you HAVE to communicate. Let's face it ladies, as much as we would love for our s/o's to be mind readers, they're not. But boy wouldn't that be nice! Same with us. I could relate to Ria so many times it was like I was in her head. thinking you want one thing, realizing that you need something entirely different but not quite knowing how to articulate it...story of my life! The steamy times were quite hot too. I love how she affected him, I love seeing a strong man get knocked on his heels by a beautiful woman.
Added to my ever growing tbr pile is the rest of this series. I love the writing, the characters, and the romance. Rachel De Lune has a fan for life

More to Desire was a fantastic book; it grabbed my attention from the beginning of the storyline and kept it throughout the whole book. Rachel De Lune did an amazing job writing this book. It made me feel happy to read a book where two people fall in love after having bad breaks, it was wonderful to read about and where a father and daughter can mend a strained relationship. I can't wait to read more as it continues.

James Riley relocated from London to Australia for a possible job promotion at work. This is where he met Ariana "Ria" Scott,the boss’s daughter, and they have an instant attraction to each other. I adored how they flirted with each other at work until they couldn't hide their feelings for one another any longer. I didn't like how her father Tom Scott tried coming between them from the beginning. I loved how James and Ariana find a way to be together despite their troubled past relationships they have had.

This is the first book I have read from Rachel De Lune; I can't wait to read more books by her; this is the fourth book in the Evermore Series.

Honest review in exchange of an ARC.

Rachel what have you done to me? I have loved James and Ria's story.

This book was brilliant. The chemistry between James and Ria was hot as hell. It left me reaching for my fan on number of occasions.

When James transfers from London to Sidney for a years secondment little did he know that it would change his life. He was done with women, this was the main reason for him going to Sidney in the first place. To get away from his past and start again.

Ria Was trying to get her life on track after splitting from her controlling partner. However, He wasn't the only controlling person in her life. However, meeting James showed her there was more to life. It was fun and carefree. She didn't need to worry about what she did and wore.

The book takes you on an amazing journey of love and sacrifice. Will they compromise to make sure both of them are happy?

Thank you for letting me come along from this ride with you Rachel.

James and Ariana's story. He moves to Australia for work, meets Ariana and falls for her. His boss (her dad) threatened him to stay away and doesn't so he's sent back to London. Ria follows him. You'll have to read it to find out what happens next. I enjoyed it and recommend it.

The UK and Australia may never be the same again. I do love a good British accent and I believe I watch enough BBC to have it down pat. James Riley may have been unlucky in love in the past, but a certain young red headed Aussie has definitely captured his attention.

Arianna's over protective father is really making any kind of relationship impossible. These two really have their work cut out for them. Emotional scars from the past also are a constant issue.

I love this story. From start to finish it draws you in and keeps you engaged.

I received an ARC from the author. I have read all the books from this series and loved each one. Same goes with this new offering. Funny thing was I forgot who James was lol. When I figured it all out......well let's just say "facepalm". This fact did not take away from the story. The author has a beautiful way to acknowledge the difficulties the heroine had in the past. I found it quite cute that although James did not consider himself a Dom....he was one in many ways. This all appealed to Ariana. I wanted to grab her father by his collar and give him a good shake. Wonderful addition to the Evermore Series. I can't wait to see what the author writes next.

Such a beautiful love story.

Lust is a wild feelings but it is even more sexy when you desire for that someone to close to your heart not just mind. James and Ria had an instant chemistry but it is forbidden. It is such a beautiful story when two people need to move on from their past.

When you love somebody, set them free, if she/he comes back, then it is meant to be which is very true for James and Ria. Love is so strong for these two and conquering both of their fears are so intense.

Ria, the Princess of her Daddies heart needs to move on and follow her heart. It is hard for her especially moving on from the other side of the pond but James who loved her the most, willing to do everything.

James has just got out of a relationship and is looking for a fresh start. Ariana has just got in town and stared working in the office where James is working in Australia . When they meet they have an instant attraction to each other. The story goes to tell you how they try to see each other and that her father tries to come between them. James Riley was the alpha that snuck up on me, the one I didn’t think I cared for but the one who stole my heart. James was introduced in previous books in the series and I was never particularly fond of him. Thought he was self-centered, rude, judgmental, and I couldn't fathom reading a whole book centered around him. He wasn't even a Dom. How could I like him and how could he fit into The Evermore Series. I really hope I haven't turned you off because, as it turns out, James has a softer side, a side I fell in love with. Even though I may not have agreed with all of his choices, HE IS A MAN! Men make wrong decisions all the time but when they meet the right woman, the woman that is ready to go to bat for what she wants, then things start to turn around.

James was on a mission, to better his career in another country and put his past mistakes behind him. Vowing not to make them again, he swore off women and knew just what it would take to succeed and a fiery red head with emerald eyes was not part of his chosen path. He needed to avoid her, he had been warned to stay away but Ariana had other plans. She had James in her sights and she was ready to take another chance with her heart. She was so tempting in green, James fought to keep control every day until his resolve crumbled under her piercing gaze. His mind was taken prisoner as his body took what it needed and what Ariana was so very happy to give.

The fallout was going to be enormous, possibly crippling. Hearts will be broken but perhaps there is a shimmer of hope. Perhaps there was a logical reason that Ariana’s world came crashing down around her. Perhaps she could convince everyone that she had found a lasting love, a love that was worth fighting for, worth losing everything for. Perhaps James is the man for her, the man to satisfy her every desire. If she only knew what those desires were.

Rachel De Lune has delivered an amazing addition to The Evermore Series. Her beloved characters from the other books all make an appearance and help James and Ariana figure out where they are headed. Solace lovers will be happy to hear that we step back into the club again but in a whole different way. Luc and Jess are on fire just to tease us and bring clarity to Ariana.

More Than Desire touched my heart. The love James and Ariana have for each other is beautiful, what they both sacrifice to be together, also beautiful. I smiled, I cried, I screamed and my jaw dropped. This book put me through the wringer and the ending had me in happy swoon-worthy tears. I hope you enjoy it along with all the other books in this series.

I received this delicious ARC for an honest review.
Ms. De Lune has written a remarkable novel that shadows the lives of James and Ariana who are both running away from reality and attempting to put back the pieces of their broken hearts. James moves to Australia to work for his company and put his past relationship mishap behind him. Ariana just wants to heal her heart and regain her confidence again after trusting the wrong man. When the two meet across the boardroom table neither one can deny the electric attraction between them. They both know that a work place romance is a risk. Are they willing to test the waters?
I enjoyed the heat between Ari and James in the bedroom and liked the power dynamic that started in the office and seeped into the bedroom. James and Ari faced real life challenges that forced them both back into that space where they had to conquer their fears or walk away alone and broken once again. More Than Desire by Rachel De Lune

This is the forth book in this series however you can read it as a stand-alone. I haven’t read the other books in the series and wasn’t confused or anything. I really loved this book. James moved to Australia to begin again in a way. Everything was going well until he meets Ariana. Ariana is a beautiful red head who appears in his team meeting one day. He is captured by her beauty right away. But he isn’t there for romance. He is there to do a job. He doesn’t want to make the same mistake twice. Ariana is trying to begin again as well. She is trying to move past a horrible experience with her last and only Dom. Ariana is interested in James as well but worries it is too soon. They have an instant connection but both fight it. They are barely able to give into their connection before what they have is threatened. Will they be able to find a way to see if they have something worth fighting for or will it be over before it really began? This story weaves an interesting tale. Sometimes those who mean to help us actually hurt us. Ariana went through something horrible and is now trying to begin again with her life. James had a moment of craziness and knew it wrong right away. They are what each other are looking for without either of them knowing or looking for it. They have a bit angst and going back and forth before they are willing to see what is there. Neither is looking for or wants a relationship. Just something easy with no strings. This book is a rollercoaster of emotions and self-discovery. I look forward to reading the other books in this series plus other books by Rachel in the future.

There is a letter written by the publisher to all U.S. readers. It explains just a little bit about the author’s spelling choices and that a glossary has been included. It’s worth reading. And to let you know as an American reader that it did not affect my enjoyment of this book.

James Riley is a man who thinks change is good. The author has me right out of the gate. She has my mind going one way and then a scene stops that and sends me in a totally different direction. And that’s not a bad thing since she knows what it takes to make her readers happy. But there were a few characters that left me wanting to know more about them.

Ariana “Ria” Scott also needs a fresh start. Our author strikes a match that has our couple going up in flames. She doesn’t make it easy for them because there is one man that keeps getting in between them – and he seems to hold all the power. With all the obstacles in their way it was interesting to watch how a relationship was going to develop. What I liked about the ending is that it showed that you can overcome those obstacles and love is a great outcome.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This is the story of James and Ariana.
James leaves London and moves to Australia for work and to move on from a relationship. He is not looking for a relationship but gets a lot more than he bargained for when he meets Ariana. The attraction and chemistry between the two is off the charts and it can't be denied. The two have ups and downs in their relationship, some more challenging than others.
This story is very well written and the characters were well developed. This was my first book by Rachel De Lune and I was definitely impressed. This will definitely not be my last.

~~~~~~~~~~Lindsey's ★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~~
This book teaches readers of romance one important thing: Romance is not just about sex and relationships aren't (or shouldn't) just be based on it. This book is sexy and tablet-melting. It's also sweet and makes its readers feel as though they are living the life that the characters are.
Ok. Let me start by saying that I adore Rachel De Lune. I've met her and I'm happy to call her a friend. She is beautiful, kind and generous and her previous books have stuck with me.
Why am I telling you this? Because I feel like you need to know that not everyone who has author friends automatically give 5 star reviews to their books.
So, what's so wrong with this book?
For me, I just didn't connect. I didn't particularly feel the love. I wasn't overly enamoured with the characters. I couldn't grasp Ariana's reluctance to share her need to go home. I didn't understand James' guilt at not realising that's what she needed.
It just didn't feel right for me.
I absolutely loved More Than Desire. This series by Rachel De Lune has been consistently fabulous to read and this instalment is no different. Rachel is an author who writes about real life stories with compassion and understanding and she writes them incredibly well. I cannot deny that it was the characters James and Ariana that made this story one that I adore.
James has moved to the other side of the world for a fresh start and isn’t looking to become romantically involved with anyone, especially as his time in Australia is limited. However, he didn’t expect to meet Ria who coincidentally is also trying to move on from a disastrous relationship. No matter how much they tried to ignore their initial attraction there was no way that they would have been able to stop themselves reacting to the chemistry that sizzled between them. I loved reading the scenes when they were together, it showed me just how perfect a couple they could be.
When I say that James and Ria made this story for me, let me try to explain why. What I loved was the instant attraction that they have for each other. There was no doubting the connection and sexual chemistry between them but they knew that starting a new relationship wasn’t what they had planned for themselves. In addition, Ria considered herself to have specific needs and I have the utmost respect and admiration for James because although he knew that he wouldn’t be able to meet those needs, he stayed true to himself and didn’t try to change - which ultimately would have made him uncomfortable and the relationship fail before it had a chance.
I knew instantly that I was going to love Ria. I hated everything that she had been through in her previous relationship but I admired the strength she showed which enabled her to talk to James (and others) about her feelings - plus I loved that she sought answers and reassurances regarding what she thought she needed.
Their differences regarding loving relationships was something that both James and Ria had to work through and I empathised and sympathised with them both throughout this book. I hoped that no matter what, they would always remember how perfect they could be together – remembering the happy, carefree and fun times that they shared when they were initially getting to know each other.
This story takes you on an amazing journey of love, discovery, sacrifice, compromise, consideration and communication. The passion between James and Ria is incredible and I absolutely loved being back in the company of those we have already met in this series. Plus, there is a visit to my favourite club... which I loved! I must mention at this point that More Than Desire is a perfect standalone read if you have chosen to read this book before the others in this series.
The author has once again penned a story that I couldn’t put down. James and Ria’s journey has been perfectly written and I am now wondering why it has taken me so long to read it. I’m kicking myself if I’m honest! I recommend this book without any hesitation and advise you not to wait as long as I have to enjoy this incredible story.
Book 4 James story
We met James in book 3, he is Jess's brother. He is a lawyer, hoping to become partner soon. When James is offered a promotion and the opportunity to go to Australia for a year, he jumps at the chance to start fresh. That is until a young woman with red hair, green eyes and beautiful smile walks into a meeting one day and throws his life in a jumble. I liked the story. It doesn't quite have the BDSM element of the rest of the series but it did look at it from a different pov. Great read!
Good
Enjoy James and Ria's story, they got there in the end, even with her dad's irritating interference. Good characters and easy read.
James and Ariannas story is a complicated mess with both not sure what they want. Being in Australia is james dream job but falling for the bosses daughter isn’t part of his plan he downey want a relationship after his last one. Arianna is avoiding relationships after the abusive last one she’s not sure what she wants anymore but can James be it or will her over protective dad spoil it all. This is a must read hot series that will have you wanting more and more. I can’t wait to read book 5 for more from this series. A must read I’d highly recommend to others.
