This continues to be my favorite Rebirth series!

So, so, so cute!

While the last one let me down just a bit, this was right back on track for the amazing quality of Super Sons! While Damian takes a bit of a backseat as an old man in this issue, Jon is front and center and I loved seeing that! He's such an angry, small guy and I loved it! It's interesting that he's pretty much ruled by his emotions and acts with illogical rage at times while Damian is the logical statistician. Damian's qualities are very similar to Bruce's but Jon's are similar to the young Clark I've only seen in Smallville but I've heard he's that way in his early comics as Superboy? If I'm not mistaken. Either way, I really love Jon.

I can't imagine how fans of the Teen Titans feel about Rebirth Titans because so far, it seems like the series is centered around Damian? Or at least that first volume was. They cameo here and I think the line up is a little different from what I read in Vol. 1 of the Rebirth series. Anyway, they really appreciate Jon's help here and it was adorable seeing him so starry eyed!

I love the little interactions between my boys here. Especially this exchange:
Jon: Hey, you're you again!
Damian: And you're you. Life's full of disappointments.
Jon: Jerk.

So we continue on with this story, the Titans have been licking their wounds and Robin is still an old man. The Titans invite Jon to help them fight the three villains from the last issue.

For some reason they drew Jon really short compared to the teens. It looked weird. I get that Starfire is suppose to be really tall but Beast Boy and Raven also looked really tall comparatively.

So occasionally the comic flashback to this guy in the shadows named Kraklow who’s been sending these bad guys.

I love Superboy and Starfire’s littler brother-big sister dynamic. I hope there’s more crossover with the Teen Titans and Super Sons just to see this dynamic.

We get to see Starfire, Aqualad and Superboy fight together, which is also a nice dynamic. We see a little of Robin and Raven.

Kraklow: A greater destiny awaited me—and you ignorant children ruined it!
Robin: We’re not children. We’re teens.
Superboy: Actually, I’m—
Robin: Shut it.

I love Superboy.

And with that, we’re left on a cliffhanger…I need more money.

The elderly jokes are juvenile (well, of course!) but god, another great issue!! I love Superboy's brightness, I love Damien's bitchiness, and I love their... friendship. I mean, pssh, they're just friends right lololol

There was a little vindication from last week's installment of Damian Is a Jerkwad.

But, I kind of feel like while the new status quo for Superboy might be nice, they're going to need to get some more growth in Damian, and soon.

The rest of the cast of this issue was entertaining.

Seeing an old and cranky Damian is entertaining to read. This was a pretty short arc, really more of a way for Jon to establish a relationship with the Teen Titans. He really did gain their respect which I think is fair. He earned it.

Great issue. This is a very good introduction of Superboy to Teen titans. Funny and wits here and there. Robin is only an old grandpa for a short time, too bad :)

Ja! Our old-Robin kicks your ass, villain!
Jokes a parte, me encanta el diseño de los TT, Superboy cada día se vuelve más fuerte y, los villanos nunca duermen al parecer.

Great chapter. The Teen Titans were all badass and the action was awesome. Loved the humour as well.
