Good info

I enjoyed this book and read a lot of good stuff. My son has been to a lot of therapy and heat clinicians. I was looking for a book that would help me at home. No clinician and no book helps me with my son. I feel alone and frustrated on my journey.

I bought this book when I attended an LDA conference out in California. After reading the back of the book, I was excited about getting some understanding and some answers, with the hope that I could bring those ideas into practice with my students. It didn't turn out quite like I thought it would. I received Mrs. Stowell's personal understanding about why students struggle. And I received some interesting answers. Unfortunately, those answers were in the form of ____________ program.

As a result, in my circumstance as a teacher, the means Stowell employs and recommends to help students with learning disabilities helps me very little. The target group who will benefit most from her ideas is the one who lives in California and can walk into her learning center or has a learning center in their area that follows the same philosophy and implementations.

Jill Stowell has helped a lot of people. Unfortunately, there is not much I can implement in my circumstance.
