The sweetest revenge . . .

He’s the Swift brother who got left behind, the son abandoned by his father. Now Kyle Swift is a man determined to destroy the whitewater rafting empire built by the half-brothers he never knew, the Swift sons who got the life—and the love—he was denied. Seducing Fisher Jones isn’t part of his revenge, but sharing a bed with the beautiful whitewater instructor is the one bright spot in his otherwise dark plan. That is, if he manages not to fall for the sad-eyed beauty . . .

Fearless when it comes to facing even the most daunting river rapids, Fisher never takes chances with her love life—until the night she gets swept away by a sexy stranger. But when her one-night stand unexpectedly shows up in her whitewater class, Fisher faces her greatest challenge yet: keeping her heart safe from a man determined to put an end to the family business—and the life—she holds dear. . . .

Kristina Mathews doesn't remember a time when she didn't have a book in her hand. Or in her head. But it wasn't until she turned forty that she confessed the reason the laundry never made it out of the dryer was because she was busy writing.

While she resigned from teaching with the arrival of her second son, she's remained an educator in some form. As a volunteer, parent club member or para educator, she finds the most satisfaction working with emergent and developing readers, helping foster confidence and a lifelong love of books.

Kristina lives in Northern California with her husband of more than twenty years, two sons and a black lab. A veteran road tripper, amateur renovator and sports fanatic. She hopes to one day travel all 3,073 miles of Highway 50 from Sacramento, CA to Ocean City, MD, replace her carpet with hardwood floors and serve as a “Ball Dudette” for the San Francisco Giants.

This one did not work for me. No chemistry between the hero and heroine. I didn't like the hero and his secret he has plus the secret he has for his job - never fleshed out well.

I liked the heroine - and the rafting stuff was okay - but overall this story fell flat.

Excellent book! This is a nice easy read that is very well written with wonderfully developed characters. Kyle Swift is set on revenge. He was the forgotten Swift son. His father chose to be with his half brothers rather than Kyle and his mother. So he will take his revenge out on the other two Swift sons by snagging their business out from under them. Fisher Jones was never part of the plan. The feisty whitewater instruction is beautiful, tempting, and someone Kyle can't stay away from. Problem is spending time with Fisher and getting to know his brothers puts his plans at risk which could also put his job at risk. So he has to decide, follow his heart or his head.

A recommended read!

Kyle sometimes has to remind his woman of things, she can be a tad bit forgetful at times, "she grabbed his hand and started for the side door. “Uh, Fisher. I guess I’m not the only forgetful one.” He stared at her bare lower half. “Maybe you should put your shorts on.” Fisher knows how to wear her man out, "...yet here it was, the sun barely up, and Fisher was snuggling up against him. Rubbing her hands up his back, over his chest. Down. “Darn, woman , you’re insatiable.” He wasn’t complaining, though. Far from it, as she now ran her tongue across his skin." I enjoyed this book I loved Kyle.

Diving in is another story from Swift brothers. It is nice easy going story with well-developed characters. Both Kyle and Fischer are likable and they have strong chemistry between. The story is not complicated, their romance adventure stars really quickly and Kyle is easy to adjust in new environment and job. It is great to see that he changes and is not so bitter toward his brother. I liked that although you knew where the story goes there are some unpredictable things, like Kyle sharing his secret with Fisher and the things that come/happens toward the end. It is also great to see that Fisher finally realizes that she was not truly in love with her boss but it was just a crush who she used as a shield and that she realized what is true love and that is what she felt for Kyle.

I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

Starting with the last review I left for a book in this series, I'm back to complimenting the author on how well she fleshes out her characters. Cause I REALLY didn't like this kid. He was trying to hurt my boys and their business. I was cuing up to read this and glanced at the blurb and thought..."Geez, this girl is bound and determined to sleep with ALL of the brothers." Nice contemporary romance.

This review is based on the ARC provided by the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

If you are looking for an easy to read romance that includes tips on learning to ride rafts on rivers and includes friends and family then this book might be for you. It is straightforward, uncomplicated and ties the three brothers’ story up with a HEA that is positive and enjoyable while also being somewhat predictable. That said, the chemistry between Kyle and Fisher is steaming hot and the story an okay way to spend the day. I missed book two of the series but as this is a standalone story – no problem at all.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington-Lyrical Shine for the ARC – This is my honest review.

3.5 Stars!

Fisher is the top whitewater rafting guide at Swift River Adventures and not one for one night stands, but sometimes sparks fly and a connection is forged, even if only for a night. Now Kyle is her student and awkwardness ensues, at least for her. But Kyle has a secret that could destroy their budding romance asunder and destroy his relationship with his half-brothers before it even begins.

It was fun watching Fisher figure out how to be a Strong Blonde as well as feminine. I was completely prepared to dislike Kyle based on the book's synopsis, but that preparation was in vain. All of the characters were well thought out and well written, and The supporting characters added to the story without detracting for the main individuals. This was my first book by Kristina Mathews and the third book in the Swift series, but it works wonderfully as a standalone. Kristina integrates relevant background information as it's needed and works it seamlessly into the story. Now I'm curious to see how Cody and Carson's, Kyle's older half-brothers, courtships progressed in the first two books.

Fischer loves everything about her life as a whitewater guide. The only thing is that she has a teensy crush on her boss...who happens to be happily married with kids. She knows she has to get over him, and decides to take a chance on the hottie she meets in the bar. It was only supposed to be a one night stand, but the next morning she finds herself standing face to face with her hottie... who is one of her students!

Kyle was only supposed to be in town for a week, scoping out the local whitewater business for his boss. He travels from place to place, finding failing businesses and helping his boss buy them for a steal. That was the plan when coming to town and acting as a student, but he starts falling for the land, the rafting lifestyle...and Fischer.

This was a cute book. It was the first book I’ve read from this author, and I would rate 3.5 stars. It is part of a series, but I think it did fine as a stand alone book. I was asked by the author for an honest review.

The plot of this book was kind of ridiculous. Kyle was placing a lot of misplaced blame on his brothers that should have been directed at his parents. The actual romance was fine; nothing too noteworthy.

the swift brothers series comes to a close with diving in, where we meet kyle, the long lost swift brother. he's on a recon mission to buy out the swift whitewater rafting business out from under his brothers. but early on he finds himself more focused on strong blonde, fisher jones.

from the moment he sees her at a bar and they share this incredible night together, to finding out that she's connected to the business he's been brought on to convince to sell, he knows she will be his. he's not the kind of guy to give up at the first sign of adversity. and it doesn't matter the obstacles fisher throws in his way, he makes sure that at the end of the day, she's in his bed.

kyle is a really good guy, and being with him proves to fisher that whatever she felt for cody was a pale imitation of love. things between kyle and fisher get serious fast, but you still get a lot of time to enjoy them together as a couple. when all their secrets are revealed, how easily some of these things are accepted stretch reality, but it doesn't matter. in the end, this was an enjoyable contemporary read.

**diving in will publish on september 19, 2017. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/kensington books (lyrical shine) in exchange for my honest review.
