Naomi Edmunds has a gift she wishes she could return. All of her life, she’s had visions that have led to trouble and shown nothing but disappointment and sadness—especially when it comes to her love life. Date after date has been marked by visions of impending disaster—or boredom. Naomi isn’t sure which is worse.

When her friend sets her up with a real estate attorney, the last thing she wants to do is keep the date. With her visions a closely-guarded secret, her friend’s patience is at its limit and Naomi knows that she has little choice but to keep the date and hope for the best.

Mark seems nice enough, but Naomi’s unable to fully relax with all the memories flooding her mind at the prospect of dating again. When the vision she inevitably gets shows something unexpected, Naomi decides to stick it out a while and see what happens.

Native Floridian and Hollywood resident Jamie White is the author of the upcoming novel The Life and Times of No One in Particular. An avid blogger and amateur photographer, Jamie’s work has been featured in publications like The Miami Herald, The Observer and Silver Sands. Along with her husband, fellow author CP Bialois, Jamie co-wrote the upcoming book Duets, a collection of short stories, which will be available in South Florida and through Amazon.com.

This novel was written during 2011’s National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and promises to entertain any writer who has wondered what their muses really do. As a fan of Christopher Pike and indie authors Marni Mann, Mark Stone and Emlyn Chand, Jamie is greatly influenced by paranormal and YA fiction.

A supporter of self-publishing, Jamie enjoys the creative freedom and control self-publishing allows the writer. Paranormal fiction is Jamie’s forte, and her “never say never” attitude keeps her true to her busy writing lifestyle. She’s an active member of several South Florida writing groups.
