Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

"Keep her from Harm" is Damien and Mia'a book, and another addition in Denton Family Legacy.
We know about the curse that seems to affect the men once they meet their soulmate.
Damien lost his ex Betty, who killed herself knowing she wasn't Damien's one true love leaving her daughter Martha with him. Since her death he's been pushing everyone, including his child away and plans to waste away, when he meets Mia, the mother of a lowlife Ivan's child born out of consent.
Instantly he knows she's his soulmate and the book is 80% the Denton family dealing with problems, with having a step son/ brother, with Coltons, and 20% about the main couple who behave like friends in most of the book.
The book takes many time leaps, and a good amount is filled with Gabriel dealing with his paternity.
Damien is an average hero, but I did like Mia.
The love scenes are very few but HOT!

Safe read
Me personally, I don't love dead ex stories.... this was was ok because he never loved her.... but having a main character have guilt over an ex is baggage I never really like to read....

-H has dead ex he don't love, feels super guilty over her suicide, she was his friend and mother of his child.
-h was rapped and has a son, father is a bad guy, he eventually dies.
-insta love for H
-OTT alpha male
-no push or pull
-no OW Drama
-HEA with epilogue

Holy Smoke, these Denton men... #Sigh

From the previous books you will see that the Denton men are all slowly falling prey to the 'Curse', meeting their women and settling down. And that made them a bit soft, and they lost sight of their family business.

In this book you will see that an unknown enemy has come out of hiding and is taking what he thinks is owed to him. We met Gabriel in the previous book, where it came out that he was the son of Maddox he had before he got together with Charlotte. So technically Gabriel is the eldest and not Jacob. From this it seems that all the brothers were just living their own lives. Making it easy for the enemy to come in and take what he wanted.

Damian is on a downward spiral after Betty killed herself and all he wants is to die as well, nevamind that he had a little girl to take care of. So when he meets Mia Banks and her little boy and that dreadful curse kicks in he picked himself up and tried to get past his issues.

We also get to see Uncle Rick more in action, and HOT DAMN that man is the BOMB!! A side of him that you would not have expected.

I cannot wait for the next one, Will we get Gideon or Gabriel???

Fast pace wayy better then the other books hasnt been a manwhore since the first book .. also some time skips from 1st book tell now..

We met Damian in the first books and we know (from reviews cuz i i didnt read the other books cuz of the brothers sex ways lol) that his baby mama died cuz the denton curse.. he really never loved the baby mama like she wanted and she killed herself few years passed and he still has guilt all over him and he wants to end it.. before he gets a chance he meets his "one" Mia and saves her from her from her baby daddy... Damian did a 360 he still feels tiny bit guilty but he's working to be a better father to his kids and making sure Mia falls in love with him.. beside that family drama about a half brother.. drama with the dad.. idk but maddox i dont trust anymore.. plus we get hints of the next book Gideon and Emma

Angst, no cheating,  no ow/om, drama, sexy times, secondary charas, not a manwhore and not a virgin gal

Love the Legacy

So much chaos for the Denton family this time around!!

Of course Sam Crescent did not disappoint!! I loved the friendship to love Damian gave Mia as to not scare her with the Denton Legacy.

Loved Damian and Mia but for me both Rick and Gabriel stole the show!!

I think we need Rick and Mandy's story... Rick's darkside was very very interesting!!

I also need Gabriel and Landon and Gideon lol I cant wait to see how things work for Tamsin... Personally I think it would be great to see the legacy go through a female!!

Cant wait to see who is next with the Denton Legacy!

Book 4 of the Denton’s series and so much has happened. We now know that Betty the mother of Damian’s daughter Martha is gone she committed suicide because she was not the woman to complete Damian’s legacy. His guilt is eating him alive as he begins to pull away from his family even his little girl he wants to end everything too. Numb the feelings so the guilt will stop hounding him and just when he decides to act fate steps in and interrupts his plans in epic proportions by crossing his path with the one and only woman that is truly meant to be his alone. Mia Banks is a fighter she has taken some knocks in life and still fighting on. She has a soon conceived through rape but still has not let the horrific assault change the way she feels about her son Reese. Once Mia and Damian meet the trust in each other is instant and their bond continues to go from strength to strength with every minute that they are together without her even being aware of the legacy. Mia soon realises though that Damian is the man for her and it is beautiful to watch it all unfold. The enemy from the previous book The Coltons are not actually enemies any longer but family. It is explained within the story how Gabriel is actually a Denton but I would of liked those initial meetings and revelations with everyone to of been written but we come into the story once all of that has passed and already happened. The family is divided and not united as normal with everyone focusing on their own situations which leaves the opportunity for a new enemy Westbrook with the help of Ivan Smith to try and destroy the Denton name and take all that they hold dear including their empire. With everything up in the air and the Dentons not on the same page it takes a visit from Rick Denton, Maddox and Stuart’s younger brother to straighten them all out and put them on the right path once again. Rick Denton is a brilliant character. The perfect balance of an alpha bad ass male with grit, focus and no fear of getting his hands dirty and a determination to win back his family’s place in the grand scheme of things. All of that combined with a wicked sense of humour, fabulous comedic timing and a way of handling each and every member of his family that will get through to them and help restore the family balance. He is definitely a character that we need to see so much more of. I cannot wait to see what happens to Gideon and Emma, Landon with is story also if the curse will strike Gabriel and even Tamsin. And hopefully Wyatt and Owen will have a story told too. There is so much more still to come and to unfold I just know it. This story was gripping and an absolute joy to read. I do suggest that to appreciate the Dentons at their most impressive and to get a better knowledge of the family that you read each book within this series in the order of its release I promise that you won’t be disappointed! Happy Reading! Disclaimer - I received an Arc of this book for an honest review and that is what I have given.

Keep her from harm is really lacking interest in plot compared to the other books. I started reading the book about two hours a go and I’ve already finished it, but I found myself really bored at times. I like when a book is precise and has the necessary information without going overboard but this story lacked details. It really needed some more pages or even chapters, so It wouldn’t feel so rushed.

description

The Denton legacy series have a strong background story that could be elongated and explained much better that it is. It has everything to be a great book but the rushed feeling you get in the end is far from good. And in my case not even the secondary characters could have save it for me.

Also, the main character was far from interesting. I was looking forward to reading about Damien, but he just got boring really fast and did absolutely nothing related to the mafia, asides from a few fights. And Mia is the stereotype of a woman that has a hurtful past and suddenly has a prince charming that gives her everything… And she still believes he just wants to be friends and accepts it. It’s just too cliché and predicable. Everything about these two was. And that makes me sad because I was really liking Damien.

No matter what anyone said, he had killed Betty. This curse, being able to know which woman was yours, had killed her because no matter how much he stared at her, his feelings hadn’t changed. The instant he had stared at Mia, he’d known. Everything had faded away, and all that remained was her, with her beautiful blonde hair, which cascaded all around her in ringlets, shocking blue eyes that held an ocean of pain, and also something fierce. She was a fighter.

I would rate this a weak Mafia book. It has almost no action scenes and the Mob business is not explored properly. I liked the previous books and they surely were far better than this one. Let’s hope that the next one can make up for the lost points.

I love this series and I really enjoyed this book. But I have to admit that Ruby’s book is still my favourite. I liked Damian but I wanted him to open up more. I wanted to see him show a full on attraction to Mia. And same with Mia, she didn’t show an attraction to Damian until near the end. I didn’t feel they had that their spark was as strong as the previous couples.
I liked the danger/crime in this story. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the Denton’s to get revenge. I was satisfied with the ending for this book I liked that Damian and Mia finally admitted their feelings for one another. I liked that Mia protected the man she loves.
I have a confession; I have a serious soft spot for Gabriel! Can I have him as my own?! In this book I liked seeing his struggles and him trying to find his place in the family. I cannot wait for his story and more from this series!
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

The mother of Damian Denton’s daughter took her own life because he couldn’t love her. Because of this, he feels serious guilt and is on a downward spiral. Determined to put an end to his life, he ends up in an enemy’s club looking for a fight. Instead he finds the woman for him. The Denton’s have a family legacy/curse; they only love the woman for them. When they see that woman, there is no other woman for them. Mia is having a rough time. All she wanted was to find love; instead she got sexually assaulted at a party and ends up having the evil man’s baby. When Ivan (her son’s father) stops Mia from earning a living, she goes to confront him. Instead of getting him to see reason, Damian Denton becomes her knight with weapons. Her saviour from Ivan, will Damian and Mia finally get their happily ever after?

If you already jumped in Denton train, you know what happened in previous book. But let me warn you that in this book things are worse. I was so frustrated with Denton men! I have no clue what was in their heads. They lost that spark, what made them Denton. They become weak. And that opened door for enemy to cause some damage.

But something good come out of this mess. One, we were able to see more of Rick. That man! OMG! He won my heart. I really hope for his story. Other, Denton become stronger. Or did they? This is for you to find out. ;)

And Damian... I wanted to kick his ass. He felt sorry for himself, he wanted to end his life, while in reality he was blessed. Damian practically had everything a person could want. He has money and power. But importantly, he had a family, that was loving, a family that always had his back. How many people could brag about it? While what happened with Betty is sad, but that got nothing to do with him. Partly, I could understand why Damian felt guilty. But he blown it out of proportion. If it would be the norm killing yourself after man rejected you, didn't loved you, half women population would be dead. And he had a daughter! She already lost her mother, and here he was to make her to loose her father too. Talk about thoughtless. Good for her and Damian, Denton legacy came in time.

Damian was on a path to self-destruction. He still blamed himself for Betty’s death. He had a little girl, Martha that he had to care for but just couldn’t do it. When he goes to one of Ivan Smith’s clubs he certainly didn’t expect to find his forever. Mia wanted nothing from Ivan. He may have forced her, but she was not going to beg him for anything. She needed to work through to support her and her son. When a Denton comes crashing into her life and sweeps her away, she is given a job, safety and more.

Damian was falling down that rabbit hole fast. Thank goodness he found Mia. She was what he needed to bring him peace. When he found out what Ivan had done to Mia, he wasn’t about to let that stand. I agree. Ivan needed to be 6ft under. Mia was a happy person and was so good with kids. Her son, Reese was her pride and joy. Even though he came from an ugly encounter, he has a mom that loves and adores him. And Martha has a mother in Mia. The Denton’s are falling apart and need to come back together. Gabriel isn’t bad. Granted he was a Colton but that was not his fault. And Damian needed to open is heart just a little to the man. We also find out who Gideon’s woman is, and Gabriel is not happy. It’s Emma Colton.

As always this was a quick read which I needed after a few exhaustingly long books. I was wondering if Damian would feel guilt over Betty. Too me that's why they should take sex with other women seriously due to the family curse. Mia had her own struggles. I felt she was a strong addition to the other ladies in the Denton family. We still have a few books left in the series. I'm assuming Gabriel will also get a book and maybe his other brothers.

Love those Denton Men

Denton Family Legacy : The Denton men know the minute they meet their one true love. Their forever love. Nothing in that moment exists but the two of them. This is Damien's story. He rescues Mia from a very bad man and the father of her child. Mia, unbeknownst to her, rescues him from himself. A family divided needs to he healed. I love this series and we have so many more Denton men to tell their tales. 💛

Damian and Mia

I have really enjoyed these books in the series. The only problem I have with any of it is all of the grammar mistakes and the wrong character name. This makes it a little confusing and I have to go back and re-read the paragraph to make sure I’m on the right person. Otherwise I like the story and the story lines I just wish it was a little bit cleaner.

This is the fourth book in the Denton Family Legacy series by Sam Crescent. I was worried when I saw this book was about Damian because the series seemed to be going in age order which means Gideon should've been next and I thought he was gonna be killed off in this book. I don't know why it skipped to Damian but I'm glad Gideon is not dead and I'm really curious about him so I hope he gets a book. Back to this book ; my heart broke for Damian and poor Martha (horrible name) and I think it was completely outta character for Betty but I guess since she wasn't "the one" this made it a lot easier than if she continued to be part of his life. I love this family and I'm super excited about the new additions and I'm hoping they all get books too. I feel for Tamsin and when she finally starts dating because she's gonna need a guy with big balls to be able to stand up to Maddox, her six brothers, and her uncles. I'm anxious as fuck for the next book and I'm curious who it'll be about.

Not bad. I liked that she's a survivor. After all she went through she survived and overcame her trial. I liked Damien's struggle. It made him more identifiable as human. I look forward to Gideon's story.

So I have a confession to make.......
The only reason I wanted to read this one is because I was dying to find out all the deets about Maddox and Charlottes drama and I wanted more of the other brothers stories. I was so iffy about this one because I was afraid of how Damian and Betty's story was going to be dealt with like did they try to be a normal couple and all that stuff. I really liked Mia. She was dealt such a shitty hand in life but she didn't dwell in the past and loved her little boy regardless. I also liked how accepting the Denton family was about her situation.
