A sexy new non-traditional billionaire tale that's sure to melt your panties...
She’s saving herself for marriage.
Not if I have anything to do with it!
I steal bases for a living. Now watch me steal her v-card.
I’ll take it all, over and over, and she’ll beg me not to stop.
You don’t get in the batting cage with me and expect to leave unscathed.
The minute Terra Harmon walked back into my life, I’m hard for her.
She’s always had that effect on me.
She’s sweet, she’s innocent, and she’s my best friend’s little sister.
She thinks she’s going to take over our pro-league baseball team, but she’s going to be so busy trying to keep her virginity intact. She won’t have time to deal with anything but the tip of my bat.
One mistake, and I’ll slide into first.
One little slip-up, and I’m going deep. Balls deep.
She wants to save herself for marriage?
She’s in the wrong game.
This billionaire story is set in a sports (baseball) environment, but is focused on the romance far more than it is on the sport. +18 due to explicit sex scenes and use of the occasional f-bomb.
Have we met? No? Well it's time to end that tragedy.
I'm a former firefighter/EMS guy who's picked up the proverbial pen and started writing bad boy romance stories. I co-write with my sister, Ali Parker, but live in Texas with my wife, my two little boys, my daughter, two dogs, three cats, and a turtle.
Yep. A turtle. You read that right. Don't be jealous.
You're going to find Billionaires, Bad Boys, Military Guys and loads of sexiness.
Something for everyone, hopefully. I'd love to connect with you. Check out the links below and come find me.
I enjoyed this story even though baseball is not my sport. This is a sweet story about a couple who let some of the stupidity of high school break them up. In this HEA they find each other again with lots of passionate sex to help.
This is an amazing and beautiful second chance romance between Terra and Danny. I laughed, cried and smiled while reading this book. I loved their story and how they helped each other heal.

Review Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars Great second-chance romance!
I received an Advance Reader Copy for Stealing First written by Weston Parker and voluntarily reviewed this book. Daniel McAdams left his girlfriend Terra Harmon for the eventually rich and greener pastures of Major League Baseball as a star pitcher. But he has kept tabs with her brother Lance, his best friend, for the last 8 years. Now, through life's circumstances, he is a single father, and his mentor and owner of his team, Martin Harmon, just passed over the reins for GM to his daughter, Terra. Sparks were surely going to fly because of the way they had ended their relationship, and they certainly did, throughout this story.
Terra has loved him all her life, but, really, why and for whom was she holding onto her virginity for? She certainly was not going to give it over to Paul, a player from another team whom she's been dating! Things heat up when Terra is thrown back into the locker room in close proximity to Daniel, making her wish that things had worked out differently between them all these years. When things all around them start to occur all at once, and none of it good, are they going to be able to find the strength to keep pushing each other away or will they be able to give each other the chance and moment that they have always dreamt of having together? But if they do, are they going to be able to make room for the other in their lives? This was my second read from this author, and I enjoyed it just as much as "Toxic!"
I couldn't put this book down! What a wonderful story, Danny and Terra are so perfect for each other, but they have a long hard road back to the love they had in high school. Reading this book will make you laugh, cry, yell at the characters, and even hold your Kindle one-handed a time or two. Such an emotional journey, this story will captivate your heart right from the start.
Terra is a strong female lead who has struggled to prove herself in a man's world. She has sacrificed so much to get where she is, and she finds herself questioning if it was all worth it. Danny has never gotten over her, despite his playboy reputation ("be who they want to see"), and he's finally ready to fight for what he's always wanted. Sadly, it takes a tremendous loss for both of them in order for them to return to each other's sphere and allow their love the opportunity to take hold.
This love story is set against the backdrop of Major League Baseball, which comes with its own set of problems and intrigue, some of which are deftly worked into this storyline and gives the story much more depth than one expects from a romance. You don't have to be a baseball fan to read this book, but you probably will be by the time you're done.
This is the first book I've read by Weston Parker, and I know I'm hooked. Male romance authors are so rare; rarer still is one who can write this well. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This book is about the crazy ride of Danny and Terra and the possibilities of second chance romances. Another well written story by Weston Parker with many steamy, sexy and humorous scenes for you to enjoy. Danny and Terra have been separated for seven years, it shows from the start how much these two have loved and love each other even though circumstances broke them apart all those years apart. Danny stayed home to play for Terra's fathers baseball team while Terra took the job managing a team in Oakland. She was so in love with him that all these years she saved herself for him while he went about playing the field and enjoying his time as a player. When his sister dies, he takes the role as father to his niece so she will be well taken car of. When the death of Terra's father happens, she comes home to manager his team which then forces both Danny and Terra to confront those feelings they've had for each other. Can you move on from the past and look forward to a future with love? Can you overcome the fights and differences between two people to seek your happily ever after? There are so many great reasons why you should read this book and since I'm not that reviewer to give the book away, pick it up and see for yourself what everyone is ranting and raving about. You will not be disappointed. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
A great read by Weston Parker about a pitcher, Daniel (Danny) and his high school sweetheart, Terra. When they were teenagers they had fallen in love and now years later still loved it each but hadn't seen each other since they broke up. Danny is the playboy star and lives up to his name with different women all the time. Terra though hasn't given it up and the only one she wanted to give it to was Danny but he turned her down back then. When she comes back to be the GM of the team all the feelings are still there the hurt, longing and of course the love. But they're older now and things have changed....can they get past the hurt and find their way back to each other? A great read with steamy scenes and I enjoyed Terra, she was strong, independent, beautiful and making it in a man's world. Danny deep down didn't want to be the playboy star he longed for Terra, a house, marriage, kids etc and even though in the beginning he was the ultimate bad boy (I didn't like his male slu*****) he finally went for what he wanted. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I was hoping for an epilogue, a little glimpse into their future to make it complete. *I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*
Do you ever really get over your first love? Well that's one of the many questions Danny and Terra ask themselves during their second chance story. Danny left his home town to go play pro ball, which also ment leaving Terra behind, she then also moved away to go to college.....seven years later their paths cross again, so much has changed, Danny is not only a pro baller but a single dad and Terra is now in charge of his team. Sparks fly between them just like they used to but Terra is determined to do her job, not Danny, unfortunately/fortunately for her Danny has other ideas. This is not an easy journey for either of them, they have ghosts from their pasts to deal with first if they are to have any chance of a future together plus Danny is now a package deal. Can Terra forgive Danny for the past? Can she give into her hearts greatest desire and not only be with the man she never stopped loving and become a mother to his child or will doubt hold her back? Well I suppose you're just going to have to read the book to find out.
So much emotion! From the time they were young, these two were designed to be together. But then life got in the way and pulled them apart. This is a fantastic second-chance romance filled with all the angst-y drama my reality TV-loving heart could desire. It had me laughing, sobbing, yelling. It dragged me through the full gamut of emotional reactions, sometimes kicking and screaming. Danny may have spent a lot of time behaving like a player, but just about everything he says and does proclaims how very much he loves Terra with ever ounce of his soul. Swoon. Terra frequently drove me a little mental. She'd listen to Danny, but she wasn't very good at hearing what he was really telling her. I hate the way the ending came about, but I'm so glad they got it. Terra and Danny went through so much to get there and they deserve every good thing that can come their way. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.
Sometimes life just doesn't roll out the way you expect it to, and you say things you wish a million times you could take back. Danny and Terra were high school sweethearts, but Danny wanted to take the safe and sane route, while Terra was a bit of a wild child, but with a moral streak. Seven years later, they are brought back together under the saddest circumstances. I felt absolutely gutted during their paths down memory lane. I love baseball, and this was such a great story line. I loved both Danny and Terra, and their family and friends were amazing characters. It was so easy to fall in love with them. Stealing First was very well written, emotional wreck notwithstanding, and I was cheering for them all the way to take this second chance by the hand and run. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and bought a copy.
I quite liked this book. Its a good length for a lazy day without the pressure of a series. Terra and Danny’s relationship was definitely interesting. They’d been really close as kids and fell in love soon after. Then just after high school broke up and haven’t seen each other for 7(?) years. The story starts after this seven year mark right before the are forced together again. There are a few flash backs to help give the reader some insight into their past relationships, which helped a little bit I’m still confused as to why they walked away from each other. I didn’t really understand either of their motives because they seemed unable to move on at all. But since it isn’t really a focus in the story I don’t really mind. Over all I think this was a good read. Could have been better but I wasn’t expecting that much.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book Danny and Terra were high school sweethearts. But things just did not work for them Danny was Terra's brothers best friend and they have always been close, even when Terra left to go to Oakland and Danny stayed and Played for Their dad's team. Let me say that I wanted to SLAP Terra silly so many times during this book. the more I read the more I did not like her. She treated Danny so bad to me. especially when she kept pushing him away (hoping he would run after her) This book made me bawl my eyes out. Not just once! I cried HARD for Terra' her brother and Danny when they lost their dad (a second father figure for Danny) but OMG what Danny and his mom went through was even harder for me! I HIGHLY recommend this book!
This is the story of Danny and Terra were young high school sweethearts who went their separate ways to continue their careers but they each put blame on the other for their split. Now seven years on and they are reunited albeit through tragedy and they have their issues to work through. Can they make it work after they have been apart for so long even though he has been the typical player and she is now going to be his boss. They have to be professional and play by the rules but throughout it all family, friendships, love, honour, betrayal and chemistry are all factors that can't be ignored........ I really enjoyed this story and characters with lots of twists and turns that keep you reading.
Wow. My first read from authors and certainly not my last
This was such an addicting read. I came across Weston during a takeover on Facebook and bought this book immediately and I am now addicted.
You have a man who's sister died and he has custody of his niece and has raised her as his own. He lost the one true love of his life 8 yrs ago and she just replays through his mind daily. Everyone is compared to her and then u have every man who wants her.
You have Ter GM of Oakland baseball team and she has always been in love w my beau but it takes one tragic accident to bring her back home. The feelings that she once had might just reer it's ugly head once again.
"Stealing First" was riveting. I read it through in one sitting. It was warm, heartbreaking, funny and steamy all at the same time. The book had the perfect title.
Danny & Terra get a second chance through tragedy. We get to watch them grow and mature as they realise that, as much as they try to pretend, they've never stopped loving each other.
Weston took a sports romance and made it into a new type of story that definitely will bring me back several times to reread. If I weren't already a Weston Parker convert, I would be after reading this.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book, and definitely, absolutely recommend it!
This book is a must read! It is that good. The story is one that has lots of twists and turns, that will keep you turning the pages, to the point that you might forego sleep like I did. Sleep, could wait. This book could not. It also is sizzle, sizzle, hot. I love second chance romances, children, baseball, and hot, sexy scenes. This book has all that, and more. It is also so well written. Weston Parker did an outstanding job developing the characters and the story, in such a way that you feel like you are there experiencing it along with them. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy, and I highly recommend it.

This book had me hooked from page one, I just couldn't put it down. This was the first book by this author that I've read. If they are all like this one, I'll be reading them all! I loved Danny and Terra. They were sweethearts in high school, went their separate ways and found each other later in life. There is more to it than that, but you need to read the book to find out. I will say this, the chemistry between them is amazing, never a dull moment. Then add in Terra's best friend Niki. Now there is walking sass, in a good way. I recommend this book to anyone who loves second chance and sports romance. Great job Weston Parker
Danny is a one nighter hot shot playboy, baseball player. Wasn't always this way, thought he was destined to save himself and be their 1st's with his childhood girlfriend, broke his heart, and his love is still with her. Terra has been waiting for the right guy, refuses to believe it could/ might still be Danny her childhood boyfriend, cause he certainly didn't wait for her. How lives change in a heartbeat, you make a choice, causes hurt feelings, then years later you wonder if you made the right decision? Amazing story, full of hope, loss, healing, and love! Beautiful story!
I do believe this was my first romance written by a man. While I wouldn't say it was an amazing read I did enjoy the fast pace of it. I was surprised at how well the female POV was written but I've got to say that for being a single father I don't feel like we really saw much of his little girl. It felt like she was just a peripheral character when it would have made Danny much more likable to see him actually taking care of and raising his daughter instead of her always being with the grandparents. The story was pretty good, a little too back and forth with the H & h for my liking but mostly there just seemed to be way too much death packed into a quick read. Overall it was okay.
1.5 stars To start off this book is terrible I could find better books on wattpad then this. It goes way too fast and the book in general is like 100 pages max the rest of the book is other books he couldn’t get published. There is barley any plot to it the beginning is some what good but after that it sucks it’s basicly just a terrible 2016 wattpad romance the smut is ok at best. Also there is way too many time skips and not enough info to ever create a full story. This Proably should have just been a short story insted of a book at all. Over all a terrible read never want to read this again and not even worth the hour you will take to read this.
I liked Stealing First which was send to me in return for an honest review. It explores the relationship of teenage sweethearts Terra and Danny; after a difficult breakup they are thrown back together in difficult circumstances, Their expectations of each other are different now 7 years on, they have to act professional and play the game, but family, friendships, love, honour, betrayal, dominance and the change in the power dynamic between them are all factors that cannot be ignored. This book has a lot of sexual content and therefore not suitable for a younger reader,
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This book started a little slow for me but more than made up for it towards the end. There's so many emotions you feel while reading this book. I wanted to cry more times that I think I have while reading any other book (& that's saying a lot because I am NOT a crier). Danny and Terra were high school sweethearts who went on separate paths as they got older but never truly lost their love for one another. It's a story about rekindling a once lost romance with lots of grief and happiness and sexiness thrown in the middle!
DAYUM!!!!!! This is one of the BEST baseball books I've read in a long time!!!! Weston took me on a emotional roller coaster ride with Danny and Terra's story!!! I cried, laughed out loud and had a few omg moments throughout this book!!! This book is about second chance romance and it's so beautifully written and captures you right from the start!! I loved the chemistry between the characters and fell in love with this book right from the start!!! This is a MUST read book!!!!
I Voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book!!!
Danny is a hot as sin cocky Alpha male baseball pitcher and when certain circumstances allow him and Terra to collide again after 7 years of being apart there are lots of heated moments along with anger, stubborness and amazing passion.Terra is a hot redhead and very feisty and sticks to her guns but Danny is having none of that.I loved the characters and the whole story was memorizing and delicious like you could actually see what was going on.Just fantastic story. I voluntarily read a readers copy of this book
This is a must read! I loved this book. I could not put it down! I loved the story, Danny and Terra were teenage sweethearts who broke up and loved each other from afar for many years, but never lost their love for each other. It was a heart warming story about finding their way back to each other. THEN THERE WERE THE SEX SCENES!!! WOW!!!! Weston Parker sure knows how to paint a picture, and what a glorious picture it was! I needed a cold shower after those scenes! And I did not even mention she was a virgin!
At first, I didn't want to pick up this book because I hate cocky jocks, but I am an ARC reader, so I stuck with it and I'm glad that I did! The sports aspect wasn't so up in your face that it made it unbearable to read. Quite the opposite, in fact, I actually wanted to watch a baseball game (pigs are flying right now). I also love the fact that a man wrote this book; it really does give some insight into the rougher sex. Daniel and Terra are lucky to have each other! I borrowed this book through Kindle Unlimited.
When they separated years ago, neither expected that loss would bring them together. Will love heal all wounds? Can they overcome the past to have a future?
Just like every Weston Parker book I've read recently, this one sucked me in. At first I wanted to hate Danny because lets face it, he was a double standard walking. I was proud of Terra holding out, but didn't blame her for the emotions she was going through and where they led her. Was proud of both of them admitting to their wrong doings in the past. Definitely will be reading more from this author!

I love sports romances , especially gritty first love ones, that have likeable characters like playboy heartthrob pitcher Danny and strong spirited innocent Terra. They have a rocky backstory filled with pain and heartache that pulls you into their drama, and when they manage through multiple tragedies and still end up fixing each others mangled hearts you feel a sigh of relief and happiness in the end . I'm waiting on a book about Jeremy !!
Prepare for a smoldering kindle because this is one HOT read! The chemistry between Danny and Tara are off the charts. The story is well written and keeps you invested from page one. I love how Tara is a strong woman she in no way a damsel in distress and that Danny is a strong alpha male who empowers her not makes her into a needy female character. I am a huge fan and I hope Lance gets his story!
