What if one emotional choice has the power to change everything?
Jordan Sanders has spent his life trying to be who God wants him to be, and Brooke Collins has been there for every moment along the way. Through hardship and joys, their friendship has only grown and matured, leading them into a new season with unexpected challenges. When the unthinkable happens, everything is called into question. Can Jordan keep his promise to always be there for her? Can Brooke trust that grace and mercy is enough, no matter what?
Always is a redemptive story about finding Christ in even the low moments of life. While it is Christian fiction, the book deals with sensitive topics and details not often found in this genre and may make some readers uncomfortable.

It's a chick lit, simplified in it's resolution, there is a romantic pleasant story, likable main characters, and always God's love and grace. I wonder the reason the author allowed the crime to not be reported and that's why I'm giving this read which had so much going for it a 3.
This book sounded very good and I was excited to start reading. It began strong.
However, it wasn’t long before all the chapters going back to the past were dull and mostly unnecessary. I found myself skimming until about 70% into the book. It picked up again, but I found the ending quite unlikely and too neat and tidy.
I think this book could have been much better than it was. The past could have been referenced, when needed, in a briefer way. The long dives into the past didn’t hold my interest at all. It felt very chopped up and confusing.
I really wanted to like this book, but 2 stars is the best I can do.
Oh my word...what a powerful book! I have tears in my eyes as I type this review. Especially due to that last sentence! I'm an emotional wreck right now!
Brooke and Jordan have been best friends practically their entire lives. He's a very godly young man with Jesus filling his heart. Jordan lives and breathes the Lord. He has always been Brooke's best friend and confidant. Guiding her, protecting her. Until Travis, her brother, insisted she go to college. There, sadly, she falls into the wrong types of friendships.
Without giving anything away, Jordan keeps his promise to be there for her. Always 💞🙏🏼💞
Personally this wasn't my favorite book by this author. The story and characters and spiritual truths were excellent, and I loved Brooke and Jordan's happy friendship; the content was darker and dealt with heavier topics than I would have expected. I'd say this book is for adults - and for young people who have been on or are on that darker road so that they can be encouraged that there is redemption and healing in Christ.
Agree the title says it all. This book is about unconditional love it’s about hope, about trusting in God to get you through the hard times especially the mistakes you make. God is always there for us no matter what and it takes a awhile for Brooke to realise that but she finds Gods forgiveness but first she needs to forgive herself. I liked Jordan’s love and character. A great story worth reading.
I loved this story by Jenn Faulk!! It was a precious story of love between two people who had known each other their whole lives. It was about a subject that was hard, but well written and handled beautifully. I think Jordan the hero was precious! I definitely recommend this story!! Great job by the author.
Always by Jenn Faulk is a little different than most of her writings. The romance is still there but this novel is a little darker and deals with subjects you don't find often in Christian romance novels. This would be a good novel for the girl in her late teens to read before heading off to college. Maybe she can afford some of the heartache that the heroine went through.
This is a story about best friends, faith in God and how one is always struggling in this world to continue growing in one's faith. It is hard to be young and trusting but to be a young woman without a mother to guide you makes it even harder. This story tells us how to love as God love's us ....unconditionally.
An epi-pen only gives you an extra 10 minutes to get to the emergency room. It doesn't take care of a severe allergic reaction all by itself. This book would have been just as good as the previous Jenn Faulk books if it weren't for that glaring error.
This is an easy to read book. There was a lot of emotion and true love in this story. It showed how God can help you through your problems. The problems of suicide and rape are included. it shows how you can forgive in all circumstances.
Jenn Faulk very gently and tactfully dealt with some truly difficult realities in this book. So much was glossed over but I do applaud the attempt she makes to deal with truly heart wrenching realities. A good read.
I love reading books by Jenn Faulk and this one did not disappoint! I love when in caught by surprise in a book and the pregnancy caught me by surprise! I enjoyed this book!
I'd read Faulk's "Take Heart" recently, and "Always" reminded me a lot of that book. There are enough plot differences that both are enjoyable. "Always" is a lot more gut-wrenching, and doesn't have as much humor. Lots of good insights on real love, commitment, forgiveness, grace.
I started this book but it began with the aftermath of a rape. It wasn't what I wanted to read about and frankly, too many books I've started recently had begun like that.
