I’d heard once that family was simply who you said they were. That it didn’t matter how long you knew one another. That it didn’t matter if you were related or not. All that mattered was that if you declared it so – it was. That was us. The eleven of us shared something nobody else could ever understand. Locked together from sinister beginnings that had stolen us from horrific homes, we were as bonded as siblings could be. Nobody else would ever know what we’d been through. No one else had ever experienced the horrors of experimental drugs or imprisonment, but we’d come out of it alive, stronger and as one. I knew we’d be a family until the day we died.

What a fantastic conclusion to this exciting trilogy. To be honest, I am kind of sad that this adventure is over, but on the other hand, I am also glad that it ended on such a wonderful note. I literally speed through this entire series within two day. I just can't seem to be able to stop myself from continue reading it back to back. It is super exciting, and the side romance was amazing too. Krista Street really did an amazing job on creating the characters and make you can't help but fall in love with every single one of them. Definitely a great series to read if you are in a superpower, amnesia, mystery, and action sort of mood.

“It’s like we’ve been reborn. Like we’ve got a chance to start anew.

I was going back and forth between 4.5, 4.75 and 5⭐️

When I was first thinking about the story, it was what I WANTED, not how the author planned it to be. Once I thought about my feelings and reasonings why I thought it was 4.5-4.75, i realized it was silly. The author didn’t create the book for what I wanted, but what made most sense with the characters and plot she created (and I think I was just being picky)😅.

Once I thought about how the author created the story, and how she wanted the characters to be portrayed, I automatically changed my opinion to 5 stars. She portrayed the characters just like she wanted and it made the series AMAZING. I have to admit, this series is high on my list of favorite books. There were “super powers”, love, “alpha male” protection, family, and action. It was everything I enjoyed reading about! Also, the fact that she could create this amazing story without intense/ vulgar language on every page, was quiet impressive and refreshing! This book was awesome and I have already recommended it to some friends!

One question I always ask at the end of my review:
Having read the book series now, would you take the time and read it or skip it?

READ THIS SERIES!!!😍

This series only got better and better with each book. Krista Street sure does know how to do a build up to full on action packed adventures in this last one. I've been so invested into this story and these characters that I got emotional AF toward the end. Not only is it almost over, but some of those moments were tear jerkers. The most memorable line is where Street writes something along the lines of, "Family isn't who you're related to, but who you choose and declare are your family." LIKE AHHH! Yes, yes it is.

I've said it before in my review for Forgotten and I'll say it again. Street knows how to write distinct characters. Especially when you have sooo many in one book, all around the same age, I felt like I could clearly picture each person just by their actions. Street didn't tell as much as she SHOWED the readers who these people were. *claps* Can't wait to read the next series she has released!

I have enojoyed this series and this book feels like a conclusion. There are more books in the series so I am intrigued where the author is planning to take us.

The book are all easy reads, perfectly suited to the young adult audience and us older adults too. The writing is quite simple and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's plain and to the point, not too much descriptive prose which I tire of. Action scenes are short and don't string you along on a knife edge for too long. There's a touch of romance without being overly soppy.

The thing I enjoyed most about this and all books is watching the relationships between the character grow, the initial distrust before getting to know each other. The odd part where they save each others lives certainly helped build the final strong family unit. Then the different powers they have that compliment each other and make them a formidable force against those who would hurt them.

Lena was kidnapped, Lena found another lost child that was raised differently from them and is one of the bad guy's people (his son actually), Lena discovered said lost child is also her boyfriend's brother, Lena escaped, One angry lost child decided to go after the bad guy herself, Everyone else followed her and attacked the bad guy's home, Lena's boyfriend's brother deflected from the bad side to the good side, murderous lost child killed the bad guy, Everyone is free ish.
Fitting end for the Lost Children trilogy. Though it is not over yet. Continue to the next series: The Lost Children World.
Sorry, should've said Spoiler alert. I meant .

I enjoyed this book so much. We get to see how the family copes with its new members, how they attempt to come together in order to defeat the corporation that they've been running from their entire lives, and rise from a dark place that the previous books only eluded to before.

If one thing is certain, it's that family isn't defined by blood and Lena will protect those she considers her family.

A fantastic adventure filled finale

I think sometimes that the final book in a series just might be the hardest. Readers are invested after so many books and we expect certain this vs to happen and it has to be difficult to make everyone happy. Well, I must say that I don't see how any reader could find fault with this one. The author did a great job with the keeping me entertained while getting to that final show down. It was great!

This is a fantastic series that is a real page turner. This Author and Narrator bring a fantastic series to fruition. I would put it up there with twilight and other shows like supernatural. The scenes in this world are epic and you can't help but fall for the characters. I felt like I was right there with the characters when listening. This would make for a great movie or series its definitely more than five stars.

Hands down the best installment in the series. We meet new siblings, a battle is fought, and the family we grow to love finally gets some Justice. I also came to realize this series is really a trilogy. The next three books are a pin off series that takes place years later. I absolutely cannot wait to begin reading them! This book wrapped up the story of the Family so perfectly. I don’t want to give any spoilers but pleas run don’t walk to start this series.

Lost children

I like indie authors and ms street is a shining star. I am grateful to Amazon for the availability of a new and very talented author.
I was stuck in a genre that had gone stale, I wanted different. This trilogy is well thought out, and kept my attention. It's characters are fully blossomed, you become involved. My kind of story!

Book 3 of the trilogy...

I am looking forward to seeing the growth and maturity of Krista Street. Her trilogy was an enjoyable read and showed her immense promise. Although the third book was not nearly as good as the first, I have no doubt her writing will improve and she will produce wonderful worlds for years to come.

Fast paced and exciting!

I have loved this trilogy from start to finish. Great characters, compelling storyline, and a few twists. I love the dynamics of the relationships. I love that they're flawed. But mostly I love their loyalty and their sense of what family is. Just one thing....tell me Raven is going to get a book of his own???

Reborn

This book was pretty good, and I’ve enjoyed the story told throughout this series. This one didn’t flow quite as well as I expected it too though. And sometimes I thought the characters were a little dumber than they should have been. Sometimes a bit immature too. But the story was good and I enjoyed it overall.

Lena and her family continue to try to find a way to leave their past behind them. This book continues to pull at your emotions as you read to find out how these lost children find each other and find out even more autracities they have endured. This book is yet again another well written installment. Street does a great job of developing her characters and showing their growth.

I just finished this series and have a nice pleasant feeling. This was not a particularly deeply written series, yet each book in the trilogy was a quick easy read with a plot arc that came to a satisfying conclusion. The characters were somewhat fleshed out, though a bit more could have made for a more vibrant story, but by the end of the last book, we have a pretty good feel for each of the original 8, then the new 3 and then the last “lost child”. The world created by Street was not too far “out there”, but worked within the parameters that it was set. All in all it was fun easy read.

Wonderful, satisfying end to the trilogy. I enjoyed seeing Lena and the other characters take a more active role in controlling their future--and seeing how that puts them all at risk. It's an exciting read, and I can't wait to see what else Ms. Street has coming in the future!

3.5 enjoyed this one, the best of the three. More action and less sitting around. Last addition to the group was a surprise and well done. Found the shapeshifting too far fetched (even having accepted the enhanced abilities of the original group).

Four stars

I feel four stars is being kind, not that there was anything particularly wrong with the book but I simply had higher expectations. It was so easy to scan which is always a downer. The ending tied a nice bow but I had hoped for more.

have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. This last book in the series brings with it a lot of action and suspense and it remains a compelling read. The characters continue to grow on me. Sad to see it end.

My review is based on the audiobook - I am listening to the 1-3 set and reviewing as I complete each book. Book 3 continues this fast paced story. I love seeing these characters that I am completely invested in grow and work together. I had a hard time putting this down and didnt want it to end
