Plot: Molly is in the small country of Galona to do some work on her dissertation. Her friend and roommate convinces her to go to a special club where they will be auctioned off for the night. She's not really into it, but she goes for an enormous sum and ends up spending the night with Damon, the King of Galona. The rules of the club state that they can only spend one night together, but he's the king, and he can make the rules. So he does. Molly is the best thing that's ever happened to him and he intends to keep her.
Commentary: I did enjoy this story and liked Damon's take-charge attitude - that probably comes from being king, to a large extent. I did think that sometimes he took it a bit far, like having her kidnapped from the library and arranging the king's consort business. However, you can see where he might be a little emotionally stunted - I mean, his dad died, his mom is horrible, his siblings seem to need directing and managing. All things considered, he was doing okay, but Molly was definitely making him a better person.

Received an ARC.. This is a modern take on a fairy tale. We first read about Damon, and how bored he is, he goes the Titan club because this is one of the only places he can actually relax, but they offer the same thing, until Molly and he is interested. Molly is in a new country, working dissertation while there. Her roommates convince her to go to a club claiming it is dream come true, a new opportunity, even though she really does not want to go, she does, and it is a secret club, why not. This is new to her, she is a little embarrassed since the club, is for the rich and powerful. Damon, was going to have, and he does, and they have a explosive night together, and neither one of them, wants to go there separate ways, and that is where all the trouble arise, are the problems really worth it? the scrutiny? Well my friends you have to read, you will enjoy it.

this novel was included in the Don't Tell ebook. I'm bound to compare the two stories.
the narratives and characters were more distinctive than in 'don't tell' although I occasionally find myself checking the beginning of the chapter to remind myself which of the leads was narrating.
this book is much more along the lines I like. more angsty, more alpha male.
many times it's unclear as to who is talking.
the book fell flat after the olive groves and impromptu ceremony. everything became easy and we lost out on King duty details and Molly's dissertation. it seemed more like a life of little responsible when it should've been the opposite. it seemed there would be no worries or hope that Molly would do more as Queen and that was disappointing.

Molly is studying overseas and working on her dissertation. She and her friend are on the mall island country of Galona. She is immersed in her work until her friend and roomate drags her out for coffee. A strange man comes up to them with an invitation to a infamous but secret club. Molly is not interested but her friend says it is her dream opportunity so Molly goes along. At the club, girls are tendered off tho rich, famous and powerful people for the night. Most women love the chance but Molly is reluctant and embarrassed.
Damon is the king of Galona and swamped with royal duties. The club is one of the few places he can relax. However even the club's offering get old after a while and he is ready to go home until Molly comes on the stage. Molly is so different that he is determined to have her. When he takes her back to the castle they have a fantastic night together. Neither one of them are ready to end things but if she stays longer, they are breaking the club rules.
Damon finds himself in an interesting position. He has never wanted to be in love and in a relationship but Molly is giving new and strange feelings. He will do anything to keep her. Molly is struggling too. Damon has so much power that he is used to commanding and no one tells him no. He never asks. He is also very restricted by his royal duties which puts a damper on any relationship. Then as always there is the press attention. Is Damon worth all the stress?

Damon is the King- while he took his responsibilities very seriously, he wasn't without stressors- running a kingdom day in and day out was not easy. Being apart of the Elite Titan's Club afforded him certain luxuries, bidding on beautiful women who are sworn to secrecy for one night of fantasy.
He never had a problem finding eager beautiful women, it was the bidding war, and fantasy play of it all that spoke to him- that is until the night he saw Molly the shy American up on the stage. She was everything the other women were not- and looked like she wanted to be any place but there. That made him want her even more.
Once he won her- it became apparent he wasn't going to be able to have her just once- but that's not how the contracts are set up with Titan, or how it works with him as King- she is a non-Royal American! Gasp! Does Molly get a say in all this? Things are about to get messy in Galona
I LOVED this book. Honestly, I enjoyed this book more than I anticipated I would. I thought Damon's alpha know it allness would be a turn off for me but found him endearing, a bit man dumb ( haha ) but charming, incredibly witty storyline, with white-hot scenes and twists, weaved throughout the pages. This one sitting read had me on the first page! If you like a Royal hot book with a modern twist, then this is a book for you!

I read an excerpt from this book and bought it and then never got to read it. I found it in my "Read soon" list and decided it was time to finish it. While the whole story is far-fetched, it is still good if you suspend reality, which is what books are for, right?
Molly is in Galona to write her dissertation, though I never figured out what that was all about. Anyhow, her friend and roommate convinces her to participate in some kind of auction that is only attended by Galona's rich and apparently the occasional movie star, I never figured all of that out either. The country's King just happens to attend and bids on Molly for the night. This is all a one-night, non-disclosure agreement, never see you again, sort of thing that only the rich could hope to pull off.
His majesty, or Damon, is bored and has attended the event expecting to see the same kind of women he always saw. Large cup size, too much makeup, poufy hair. When he sees shy, scared, beautiful, Molly, he has to have her. What he doesn't expect is to want to keep her. That is against all the rules, but sometimes it is good to be the King. If you don't like the rules, change them.
I hope there are more books about the other members of Damon's family. I really liked this one, even without reality.

Where to begin? Bad writing, sad story, no character development. The girls sell themselves for one night only at an elite sex club...not because they need the money but because one has it on their bucket list? This is so wrong on so many levels. And they're not even in their own country. In a world where sex trafficing happens, this is not a message I'd be sending as ok. And our lead is bought by the king of the country. Seriously?? Not my Cinderella story. After one night of great sex ... he's obsessed with her. Domineering, treats her like he owns her, her life and what she's doing doesn't matter. While she does call him out for it, she then proceeds to give in to more sex...so I guess it's ok after all to be treated like crap as long as the sex is good. Being outed in the media as a couple is fast track to moving in, relationship and "I love you". The whole book is really only about how many times can she write sex scenes. They can't even make it through the ball without leaving early because he has to have her again. And let's not count how many times she abandoned her best friend. Ending with her pregnant and married. Ridiculous.

This story was heating up! I absolutely love this story! I really don't read too many royal books but after reading this story I now know more. It was a breeze to jump right into this story. Molly is the girl next door. She is polite, sweet, shy, and unexpected. She surprises me at every turn. I was so excited for her. How did she get so lucky? Well I tell you Molly is very special. She is a little sassy and can hold her ground when she needs to. The king is Damon. He is older, handsome, possessive, and smart. He will do anything to keep her in his clutches. He does gets his way all the time. You can't help but to fall in love with Damon. He is sweet and gentle then he's all alpha it's so freaking good. I absolutely love their beautiful journey to happy ever after. I have not have the pleasure of reading from Violet but I'm happy I caught her at the right time. I will definitely be reading this series because each characters have grab ahold of me in a special way. Amazing work Violet Paige😘

It's popped up into my recommendation list on Amazon and costs like 0.99$ so why not? It's got 3 different stories in it and I only read what's on the title. I've read the plot and I actually liked it but as I was reading the actual story, not quite. I got lost on the setting, where's Galona and does it actually exist? (I have to Google it). I have nothing against insta-love but that didn't just work for me on this particular book. I didn't get to connect on the characters as much as I would love to because I find there's no depth in them. There are some loose ends that didn't get closure like the ones of Damon's mother as well as Dominic. BUT I liked the ending, there's always something about having a baby that's sweet.

I found this book on another platform and found it on my Kindle and I have a great romantic drama series that I can read. It is definitely a good change of pace. It's a great read. I would highly recommend this book 📚📖 and series.

I reviewed this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this book about a King and his love. Damon was the King and bought Molly at the auction for one night, only he decided to keep her. Damon has to learn how to uphold the tradition of the throne with his modern ways. Molly was a student who was from the US and is studying for her Phd in literature. Molly decides to partake n the auction to please her best friend and thinks of it as a once in a lifetime fantasy. This was a good story about a alpha male who meets his match and makes him realize he will not always get his way. Good book.

I LOVE the cover on this one and let's face it girls, who wouldn't want to stare at those abs? This is a totally different storyline from what we normally see. The thought of studying abroad and ending up on an auction that leads to a king purchasing you? Yeah, that's soooo not normal, but O. M. G. is it delicious. I loved the fact that Molly wasn't a doormat, letting him walk all over her, even though he is a king. Seeing the growth these characters go through was very touching and makes you want more books like this.

I have read some books from Violet Page before. So I was really looking forward to reading this.
This was amazing and surprising. It started out a bit bored and confusing but it caught me after a few pages.
I loved the chemistry between the main characters and that the book is very well written.
The story line is good and I find that the small stories that are included in the story makes it better. I love that Damon is so possessive about Molly and tries to make her secure and safe.
This book has action, drama, romance, hot scenes, alpha males and a lot more.

Tempting the Crown is a book that I devoured. I loved this book from beginning to end and loved every second of it! I enjoyed that if felt more life like than an attempt of just a King getting a woman into his bed. Yes, it starts out that way- a man wanting a woman for just a night- but knew right away that he wants more. Molly has a lot to take in when things start getting serious with Damon while he is willing to rearrange everything in his kingdom for her, will she be willing to do the same for him?

Tempting the Crown by Violet Paige is a very sexy and fun read. A modern take on royalty and commoner romance. I adored Damon and Molly. They have amazing chemistry and are very hot together. I felt Ms. Paige did a great job of expressing the burdens that shackled Damon against his own personal wants and needs. Also loved Molly's insecurities and feistiness. Book featured many great supporting characters that I hope to see more of in future books. I highly recommend this book for romance fans. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Scorching Hot!
Oh my goodness I read this book and all the bonus ones through the night. I'm sure I looked like a zombie the next day but it was so worth it. Please, please I want a hot, sexy, delicious King like Damon. The man can talk the panties off a nun and has dangerous charming, bedroom skills. Do not let that fool you intelligent , equally sexy Molly holds this King in the palms of her hands. She is feisty and outspoken, I love how independent and fierce she is. This is one very well written, hot and steamy book.

This was very well written with very few mistakes, which is appreciated. Damon and Molly had an unconventional start to their relationship but it was obvious from the beginning it was so much more than a tally. I liked how Damon was trying to modernize the monarchy and how the author didn't shy away from the royal family having problems just like everyone else. Great read and highly recommended. This is my first by Violet but I will be checking out more of her work.

Molly was just there as a favor to her friend. Damon didn't really want to be there, but was hoping for something different. As soon as Damon saw her, he had to have her as his own. It was only supposed to be one night, but that wasn't enough for him. He was determined to keep her for all time, no matter the costs or consequences. I loved this book and the dynamics of the characters and plot. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

The blurb on this book did not do this story justice, it was sooo much better than I thought it would be. The writing was great and the main characters were on fire! I was a bit disappointed the supporting characters were not in the book more but on a whole a great sizzling read.

I was hooked from the very beginning! I love reading Violet Paige! I loved the plot which was a different concept. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout. I love the characters - all were well-developed. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. I hope to see Bastian and Brooklyn's story soon!

Finally a "royal" romance that reads genuine--Damon is actually ruling and dealing with state affairs on a daily basis. And Molly is a pretty decent heroine, i.e. *not* a doormat and doesn't need rescuing.
The chemistry between them also felt right, kudos to the author. Good news too, as there are a couple of bonus books included in this one.

This is a fantastic read that kept me enthralled from the very beginning.

This book was a great read with lots of red hot sex scenes. The plot and characters both grew as the story progressed. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a HEA. I voluntarily read this ARC book and this is my honest review and opinion

I was hooked on this read from beginning to end. The story is fast paced and Molly and Damon have great chemistry together. The story has plenty of drama and suspense and the sexy is steamy. I loved it!

I loved this story. Even a King can a vice, but he gave his up for his queen. This is a steamy hot adult fairy tale with a happy ever after. I do have many questions about the best friend Brooklyn. I hope there is a story about her romance.

Wholly cow I fell in love with this book. Violet meets the crown king in quite a unconventional way. He buys her in an auction. And as they say the rest is history. Will there love affair lead to marriage a n d a baby . Time will only tell. You definitely must read this book to find these facts out

Damon and Molly have intense chemistry. It is a difficult situation but he is determined to keep her in his life. He is used to being in charge and s very dominant in the bedroom too. There are many steamy scenes between them that heat up the story.

I thought this book was okay but it really isn't something I would want to read on a regular basis. Too much sexy wild times and too little story.
