Nothing is off limits when you’re a boss. Deep in the city of Watts, Soulja is the man everyone wants a piece of. From the time, he was a young man, he’s been hustling and now at the tender age of eighteen, he runs his city. Making money was too easy and it changed his life, he fell in love with the game. Being one of the youngest hustlas running shit never affected Soulja. He went from being in the school hallways to running the streets making money. But what do you do when one your closest friends tries to cross you, and destroy everything you ever built? You fight back. Soulja’s motto is Love, Loyalty and putting his Family and Hood first. He keeps his friends close and will do anything to protect them, until one of his very own tried to make moves against him. Once he realizes what’s really the truth, it’s time to take care of business and re-evaluate the loyalty of those around him. Taking matters into his own hands, he must navigate the secrets and truths from those around him and show his enemies why he’s a Street Soulja.
3 1/2 Stars for STREET SOULJA by @souljachocpresents As the book opens we meet Soulja, a 17 year old hustling in Watts. He has a 24 year old girlfriend that he stays with & she basically caters to him. I think it’s kind of strange & I’m suspicious of her from the beginning. Soulja also has two best friends that he trusts with everything and another that he’s grooming. Soulja has had no real male influence in his life because his father has been in jail for years & the only person that he has become close to is his connect. He has had to grow up quickly it seems & he takes care of his mother & grandmother. The story goes on to tell the details of his day to day routines. There were plenty of errors but I still understood the story even though it would have been much better without them. Another thing that took away from the story was the details. People like details but it was definitely an over abundance of them here. In the end there is a betrayal going on & someone must answer for it. ~LEE~

Soulja Choc brought that fiyah again. Street Soulja is the best book I've read this year. Soulja didn't play no games. He showed his loyalty to those who showed it back. It was definitely a page turner. I can't wait for the next one to drop
This was a good book. Soulja had a lot going on. He need to watch the people around him. Including his girlfriend Kesha. Can't wait for part 2. Great job Choc
I like the characters, it’s sensual, gritty, hood, and somewhat relatable. I’m excited to see what happens, not really grasping the plot but it’s still a decent read.
This was a very good book. It had me wanting more. I have finished two books in this series in two days and working on the third. It is gritty and will have you emotional.
