Everything that was good about vol 1 and then some. On page rep for enby, polyamory, and autistic chars.

This made me pretty sad, for everyone really. These brothers, Cam and Mael are forced to make these breeding contracts, it's killing poor Li and cam. Mael is feeling something he cannot understand with Kat and while she has kind of come to terms with the loss of her freedom, she obviously isn't okay with it and is worried about the future. I wasn't sure about the Ti and Maya part, I'm glad we kind of got their perspective a bit, that made it easier to stomach, but it was still kind of rough. Love the relationship between the brothers. They are in a tough spot and trying to be there for each other while dealing with what this forced breeding-future ruler demand is doing to them personally. Will continue the series.

Happy to return to this world!
As someone who is ace-spec, I know I’m not the target audience for erotic books. HOWEVER this does not dampen my enjoyment of this series because Kaelan Rhywiol has a way with words. The characters are unique and I love their voices. Plus there’s plenty of queer rep to relate with, and it’s SO refreshingly diverse.
We get to see more relationship dynamics in this volume and I’m curious to see where the next will take us! I’m officially in for the long run.

I cannot find anything to complain about with this book. Everything put into place in Volume 1 is progressing nicely. We're getting to know all of the characters better, and oh are they an interesting bunch! And the sex is *scorching* which I won't complain about either. Very much looking forward to reading the next volume.

Awesome characters in an amazing world with plenty of heat! Thoroughly enjoying my journey through Rhywiol's world and can't wait to see where this goes!
