I herniated my L5-S1 disk back in January 2020. The herniated disk measured 8mm, which is pretty significant. I remember I could barley walk for a solid week and lost about 20 lbs in a span of a month after the injury from barley having an appetite from the pain. I saw an orthopedic surgeon who wanted to do immediate surgery because how significant the herniated disk measured. I did my research and discovered that back surgery success was not an outcome for most surgeries. I opted for spinal decompression therapy for 3 months, which ran for about $2300. It did help me get out of some pain but it did not cure me like the chiropractor said it would. I tried about 6 different chiropractors but nothing helped. I finally decided I needed to help myself and not live with this pain. I did my research online and came across this book that had great reviews and testimonials. I decided to shell out about $20 on amazon and give it a read. The book got to the point of your pain and gives you great guidance on how to get out of your pain. I wanted to get out of pain as soon as possible, so I actually contacted Chris through his email in the book. He replied back within the next day and we talked on the phone to help me understand a little bit more about the pain I was feeling. I decided to work with him because I felt my condition needed a little more attention and I have only had 3 sessions with Chris so far and I already am feeling the results! My wedding is in little over a year and I just can’t wait till I can spend that whole day with my wife without any pain! Thank you Chris for showing me the light!

Picked up this book looking for ideas to consider to solve hip mobility issues found in many of our athletes. Lauren Whitt from Google also mentioned that hip mobility was a major focus in their wellness initiatives so I decided to do something about my hip/lower back dull pain. Two words: Life changing!!!! If you sit in a chair for hours at a time, travel frequently, have lower back tightness or pain, you have to read this book and do the rolling, exercises and stretches. The book also does a light fly over into hip anatomy.

At long last

After 5 months of seeing countless doctors, including multiple specialists, I finally have someone who understands my injury and the needed path to healing. Chris's book is very well written and includes a wealth of information that has helped me understand my injury far more than the multiple doctors I have been seeing. The testimonials are extremely relevant and help to visualize the path forward. He even provides a full step-by-step program for recovery and a sample daily regiment. Well worth the cost of the book. So glad I found it!

Another excellent pain bible from Chris Kidawski which teaches me so much about my body, how it works & what I need to do to care for it. If you ever suffer regular back pain I consider all his books a go to.

Chris did a great job with the back pain bible. I would say stretching doesn’t work for everyone that has back pain. But this book dives a lot deeper about fascia and pain in general that I learned from him.

Practical solid advice.

Well laid out. Backed up with research. My 2020 goal is a better, stronger pain-free back. I highly recommend this book.

Life Changing!

After 8 years of pt, chiro etc etc this book has got me going pain free after 2 days! Unbelievable! Take control of your own rehab and save your money!

It's a very interesting read but it constantly pitches resources and extras to you through the book and NONE OF THE LINKS OR EMAIL ADDRESSES WORK! So you can't get the necessary information to supplement the words.

A differentiated approach

Easy to read, easy to follow. There’s a few aspects that border on pseudo-science but if you’ve ever been in back pain, relief is relief. The program is well put together and easy to follow. Here’s hoping it works for you too!

Good guide to have an specific plan to release your muscle and gain results. Looking forward to do it at least for a year.
