Helpful, but writer should have taken his own advice.

There was a number of errors and poor sentences in the writing. Proofreading cannot be over emphasized! Good for beginners.

I can't rate this book because I'm definitely not part of the target audience after I have five published books. I expected more tips focused on the short story mechanics because exactly the short forms are difficult for me to write. Instead the tips in this book are pretty basic and focused on just writing a text of fiction. As the title says it's really for beginners.
