It could be my personal preference, but I don't find it sexy when a woman falls to her knees, sucks the guy dry and swallows after he showed her his interest for the 1st time 😖.
Nothing against bj, it's fun! But not as a 1st sexual experience with the man she had a crush for years! And she told him that she secretly pined for him. Why? To feed his ego? 😣

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of the book.
The Hot List was everything I've come to expect from a Luke Steel book - hot, sexy, slightly angsty (and utterly realistic), and mature on a level you don't often find with these sorts of novellas. That is why he will remain a must read author for me. I know that not only will I enjoy his books, if I'm in a slump or suffering from a book hangover or just feeling over- (or under-) whelmed by my TBR, his stories will rescue me. The Hot List is no exception to this. I really enjoyed Caleb and Audrey's story because while not telling us their ages explicitly, I got the feeling that the two main characters were of an age beyond their 20's, yet they were still passionate and sexy as all get out. There was a level of maturity in this book and the setting that really resonated with me. Plus, as usual, the sex was HAWT! I love reading the male first person POV that Luke Steel utilizes in his books. The Hot List gets 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

Hot Hot Hot!!!! Unbelievable, an awesome read, couldn't put it down. If you haven't read a book by Luke Steel this is one you must read, and if you have, you know the heat he brings to his books, and this one won't disappoint. It brings the heat between the H/H, and provides enough of backstory, so the reader understand the tension and what's caused it, while not boring the reader with a typical, sweet second chance romance. Very well written, especially for a short read, the heat level is what readers have come to expect and love from Luke Steel! The Hot List definitely won't disappoint, definitely, without a doubt, 5 Stars for this book and 6 Star for the heat level!

I really like Luke Steel's books - they remind me of Alexa Riley's books with an Alpha-male, fast read, and insta-love; but this one just didn't do it for me. It was a VERY fast read and I finished it in a less than a half hour. Didn't really get into too much of the characters past and I keep waiting for something amazing to happen and it was just very flat.

Caleb and Audrey work together at a real estate company and compliment each other well. He’s more of a facts and figures guy, and her strength is in accentuating the emotional appeal of a property – together they make a great team. As they work together, they find themselves going from being colleagues to friends. After one steamy encounter at the company’s Christmas party, it looks like they may become a lot more than friends, until Caleb finds out Audrey has stolen his dream job with another company out from under him. Imagine his surprise when Caleb meets with a divorcing client who is selling two properties and finds that the wife has hired Audrey to represent her in selling the same two properties. And when they both show up for a weekend of showing potential buyers the lake house property, things get really interesting.
The advance copy I read of this book is my first by this author and all I can say is, Dude, you should really consider quitting your day job and writing full time! If this book is representative of his work, he’s a fantastic author! The characters are so three dimensional they come alive on the pages, the descriptions are so vivid I picture them clearly in my mind’s eye and the chemistry is so hot I burned my fingers turning pages! Yes, the book overflows eros (as one would expect with this type of book) but the scenes are emotional, moving and beautiful rather than cheap, degrading or trashy. This male POV from a male author is very obviously written with the female reader’s satisfaction in mind and certainly fulfills that objective! I wholeheartedly recommend this book and will absolutely be getting my hands on more of this author's work!

A few years back, Audrey💋 betrays Caleb🐺, six ways to Sunday. She takes the dream job he wanted at another real estate firm, and doesn't tell him about it. He's very angry when he finds out from someone else and he rejects her.
After that they become rivals, selling expensive residential real estate for opposing firms, even though Caleb🐺🍌🌋✋ still has the hots 🔥 for her.
They are brought back together when a divorcing couple hire them to sell their penthouse and vacation home. The ex wife hires Audrey💋 and the husband hires Caleb🐺🍌🐎. They come to terms and decide it's a race. Whoever sells the property first gets the commission of course. The husband will sweeten his deal with Caleb🐺 with a list of contacts and extra money.

A well-to-do couple is going through a very nasty divorce, and Caleb was hired by the husband as his realtor. Unfortunately, his newly named nemesis, Audrey was just hired by the wife. Caleb and Audrey are then informed that they will be competing with each other to sell the couple’s jointly owned properties, and the agent who delivers first gets the commission. When both Caleb and Audrey end up staying at the luxurious lake house property, their past comes screeching back into their present, mostly due to hurt feelings and miscommunication, not because they were not attracted to each other when they worked for the same firm. Forced to coordinate showings, however, they combined their strengths to overcome their collective weaknesses, and they were able to clear up all misunderstandings to a perfect HEA. This was a well-written and sexy little read, and I look forward to more of this author’s stories!

This was a wonderful second-chance romance story. Caleb and Audrey are real estate agents who once worked together and were friends. Just as they were about to take things beyond the friendship stage, career ambitions wrenched them apart.
Now they’ve both been hired to compete against each other to sell two very expensive properties, and that’s when the fun begins. The emotional depth is there from the start, and their chemistry is undeniable. When their emotions finally overrule their better judgment, the resulting fight-to-sex scene is so hot you’re going to need a potholder for your Kindle!
It takes a very talented author to give us a sweet romance laced with super sexy love scenes and make us care deeply for the characters from the start. Hot List was a very satisfying book to read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is a easy breezy story of 2 competing real estate agents who once worked for the same agency and now find themselves involved in selling properties as part of a messy divorce. The estranged wife chooses Audrey and the estranged husband chooses Caleb. They are charged with selling a penthouse and a lake house ASAP.
The story focuses on one weekend at the lake house and both being there to show the house. As usual events don't go as planned; and watching how they maneuver around and through their feelings, and selling techniques is fun. And, the soft gushy side of each helps them come out winners in the real estate game and with each other.
I'm a huge fan of the author, Luke Steel. He continues to find that storytelling sweet spot that keeps his fans craving for more of his stories.
This is an ARC review and I give this story 5 stars.

I was provided an ARC copy of this book md I'm providing my review freely. This is a nice, light summer read. Audra and Caleb used to be work colleagues who leaned on one another for advise and counsel. Then when they finally made the tentative leap towards lovers Caleb finds out Audra took his dream job he'd told her all about. Now after some time had passed they are pitted against one another in a divorce firesale of property. When the two wind up staying at the remote lakefront property for a weekend all the old hurts come to the surface. This one is good reading. No back and doeth twists and turns. You may be asking will they or won't they but you won't be in suspense for long. Recommend this read!

Caleb and Audrey have been hired by a couple in the midst of a nasty divorce to sell the same properties. First one to find a buyer gets the commission. Caleb and Audrey have a past that has left Caleb with nothing nice to say about Audrey (unless it's about her body). Due to a lack of communication, they've both scheduled to stay at the vacation home and show it to potential buyers. Needless to say, neither is happy with the circumstances.
Caleb and Audrey's chemistry is palpable, especially when they're fighting. There's a good amount of angst, but no unnecessary drama which makes it a perfect story to relax with and ignore reality for a bit.

When you start to read a Luke Steel book you pretty much know it's going to be more sizzle than story and that's not a bad thing. If you're looking for a short read to put you in the mood than The Hot List is perfect. Take two real estate agents trying to sell the same properties, put them together for the weekend at their clients lake house.....things could get a little wet (pun intended). Add in a little bit of history of the sexual nature and there you have the inevitable love/hate romance. I enjoyed seeing them trying to get one over on each other but at the end of the day their attraction to each other can't be denied. It's the perfect bedtime story.

Caleb and Audrey are rival real estate agents vying to sell the two high end properties for a rich couple in the throes of a vicious divorce. Pitting the two against each other is like fate, as they both used to work for the same agency but Caleb claims Audrey stabbed him in the back. Unfortunately, he can't help his animal attraction to her, regardless of how disloyal she was to their friendship. When they both end up spending the weekend at the beautiful lake house to show their respective clients around, sparks fly! I received an ARC and I'm more than happy to recommend this story. It's a quick but HOT read - thoroughly enjoyable!

Caleb Mercer is a shrewd real estate agent who’s being commissioned a hot property sale, but little does he know he’s going to have competition. Not only does he have to deliver before another agent, but she’s someone he’s been holding a grudge for.
This is another hot read by this author. Once again he has a nice delivery of a short, sexy story, this time the players have a bit of a back story which I greatly appreciated. Another hot hit by Luke Steel.

This was so much more than a second chance love story. Add in friends to lovers and even coworkers to lovers, it covers a lot! These two became friends at the same real estate business but a misunderstanding turns them into borderline enemies since she took another job....the one he wanted. When they are both hired by a couple divorcing and splitting up their property, Caleb and Audrey are out to win but what happens when they are at the lake property together? Will old feelings resurface or does pride stand in the way not willing to find out what went wrong? I enjoy these fast paced, ramped up chemistry stories that Mr Steel produces! Check them out!

I went into this book blind because with a Luke Steel book, I don't even need to read a synopsis. I already know I'm getting a realistic story, great hero and heroine and off the charts sexy times. I really liked Caleb and Aubrey. I am still shocked that there is so much packed in this little book. I mean there is sex and lots of it but the story is not sacrificed for the sex. He still puts a really good story in there. If you want a short but good quick read you cant go wrong with this book. Definitely recommend this.

Luke Steel has done it once again, awesome read. I received this book as an arc for an honest review. Caleb and Audrey was so hot together. Once thought of each other as enemies due to a misunderstanding soon become a hot affair. Audrey takes a job with a real estate firm after Caleb tells her that he was applying for his dream job. He feels betrayed when he finds out through another co-worker at their Christmas party. Now they are both working for a divorcing couple to sell their properties. Things get heated and as with all of Luke Steels books a hot HEA is in store.

I love Luke Steel books and this one does not disappoint. This is a great hot novella with great main characters and a well developed storyline. It is told as a single point of view from Caleb. This couple are both very competitive in their shared occupations of property realtors for opposing companies. This story will not disappoint in its ability to provide panty melting, hot, super sext fun. I recommend this to readers who like a quick short hot read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Quick sweet read. Caleb & Audrey are real estate agents, who used to work at the same firm...until Audrey got Caleb's dream job. One year later and they meet at again...their respective clients are getting divorced and they've been hired to sell both properties. They end up staying at the lake house property together over a weekend while showing it to various prospects.
Cue the fireworks! Did I mention that they had a brief moment at their company's Xmas party? Lots of chemistry, angst & funny moments. Finally got an HEA.

Sexy short story
Former coworkers to enemies story that begins a competition between the two. It is a short one sitting read that is very sexy. It is a good story as you expect to come from Luke Steel. It doesn't read like a novella as the characters are together throughout the book.

Luke Steel is one of my favorite short novella authors. He knows how to bring in the sexy and charismatic characters. He is your go to for the hot excitement, erotic moments, sweet alpha males and tender touches that have you itching for more. I love Caleb's and Audrey's story. If you haven't started reading Luke Steel, you are missing out, each of his reads are different from the other and grab your attention from start to finish. I look forward to the next one.

Audrey and Caleb are realtors competing with each other. They're enemies but soon become more because the sparks fly and they have tons of chemistry. The more time they spend together it becomes obvious that they work well together and compliment each others strengths! They are a sexy couple who have to let go of the past and see what's in front of them! This is a good, quick read!!

First time reading this author. I’ll definitely be trying more of his books. Very sexy but with an actual storyline and good writing. A lot of times with these novellas they’re poorly written and have grammatical mistakes that drive me crazy but I read them because I just don’t have the time right now in my life for full length novels and I like being able to sit for an hour or two when I have the time and finish a full story. Excited to have found a new author to try out.

Luke Steele has done it again! I loved The Hot List so much I couldn't put it down it was short and dirty just the way I like it, I loved Caleb and Audrey I loved their story and how they got a second chance at love and happiness loved every second of this! Another Hit Luke Can't wait to read more!
