Life Lessons
Wow this really was an eye-opener, I really wasn't expecting this story to end like this but I feel like it was a learning lesson. I swear I felt so sorry for Heaven, when she thought she met the love of her life but actually found the person who was going to destroy her and ruin her life just crazy. I couldn't stand the mother attitude and the way she treated Heaven but as you read the story you figured out why, it doesn't make it right but I felt like her father should have did something to control the way she treated Heaven. I really wish this story had a different ending but overall Diamond Johnson did an excellent job and I won't complain.

Heaven's story will leave you in tears
The first half of the book for me was a little drawn out, it didn't really pick until the middle. Right when Heaven's whole life changed. From there, her life continue to spiral out all in the name of love. The events in the story are hard to deal with, no matter what Heaven did she just couldn't beat it . Love is not supposed to be this painful, but Tony Isaac made sure it was. Tony is selfish, immature, and disrespectful. He is arrogant and just a a complete a-hole. I hate every fiber of his character, no one should feel love like that. Heaven world was just filled with hate and when she found her happiness it was too late. One scene was so terrible I dropped a dew tears, like how candy attest your love and be so violent. Tony Isaacs is just horrible and what makes it worse is he just didn't care all the way to the end. Diamond is a beast with the pen, but the editing needs work. This is a reoccurring issue I find in her books, and at this stage it should be a lot better.

Emotional read

Not worth the money.
This story dragged on and on. I started to feel sorry for heaven but quickly changed my mind because she kept dealing with the bull. I can honestly say I was disappointed with this book especially the ending.

Omg this book was too much! I wasn't ready at all! I should have known that it would be very sad because that's the type of books Diamond writes. She does a great job but in all of her books the main characters are always suffering. Although I love her books , they take way too much out of me so I will have to definitely take a break from reading them. Her books are becoming more predictable not in a sense that Ik what's actually going to happen but in a sense that I know it's going to be very emotional.

A must read
This was a different storyline for Ms Johnson and it was absolutely amazing. Really good story that's rough about real issues. I hope a spin off is in the works for Antwan. Tony was true definition of a monster. His version of love was psychotic.

OMG so much drama and manipulation and physical abuse
This story about Heaven Lyons and Tony Isaac she meet him following her home from high school. Heaven Lyons was a preacher daughter who shelter and raised in a strict religious household. Her mother was very hard a strict on what clothes or TV the watch. Heaven was very close with her sister Christian and her father. Heaven Lyons was a straight A student who tried to please her parents. She met Tony at a time when she young 17 years old and vulnerable and he thought she was pretty and a square. Heaven Lyons was shy who didn't know how to speak up for herself then she meet a intriguing men 28 year old men who found attractive who was so innocence to so was wrong on so many levels. Heaven showed up at Tony and memorize his address he didn't let random women show-up pop-up at his place. Tony was a womanizer and a cheater he was also abuser. Heaven fell for the forbidden love and started seeing Tony secretly during her exam week. He start teaching and telling her what he liked and dislike. Heaven start lieing and got her a cell phone her parents wouldn't let her have one. Her mother went out of town for a week to take care of her sick father. Heaven sister Christian she was seen getting out of a Bmw car with a guy after school. Sneak out the house to meet Tony and gave her goodies away and lost her virginity to him that where she messed up that where the control and manipulation being because he was her first everything. Then she got pregnant and she told her parents and they wanted her to have a abortion on her 18 birthday she refused. And her mother kicked her out she went to Tony house a told him she was pregnant he convinced her to 14 abortion and couldn't have any children. Tony and his assistant Ciara had and affair he had son with her and kept secret from. He would beat her when they went on vacation to Port rico for their 11 years anniversary because she let another guy touch her he was jealous and possessive and controlling ways. She wanted her except his son by another woman and suck it up when he knew hurt her. She went to her husband 50 year anniversary for the hotel she went to hotel and embarrassed him in front business associates airing out their dirty Landry. He beat her and she tried to kill her self. Then he pushed her down the stairs and threaten to kill her if she told anyone. He kill her dog Gucci and pushed her down down the stairs and broke her neck. He isolated her from her family and friends. He hired a new driver name Antwan Parker who she attracted to even though she was married to a crazy possessive controlling men who didn't value her worthy who use and abuse her. Also she reconnected baby sister Christian Flowers who husband was a pastor after 16 years from not seeing her sister she told her to call her father because he was sick. Heaven still resent her parent for kicking her out of the house pregnant alone and scared and no where to go. The final straw came when her father had a massive heart attack and died her world was turned up side town she felt so guilty because he died from a broken heart and not tell him she was sorry and that she loved him. Tony wouldn't go with her to the wake or the funeral Antwan the driver went with her and she developed feelings for him. He fired Antwan because him and Heaven saw him with Circa and his mother and his son it broke her do He was so disrespected and a cheater and a liar. Come find out she was her step-mother that why she resent her because her husband had an affair with Heaven mother she raised her as her daughter. When she made Heaven to the doctor to see if she was having relation at seven-teen she was stricter on her than her sister. Her sister gave Heaven her baby girl Faith she had so her sister could be a mother because all those abortion she had messed her up so she couldn't have children I thought that was self-less of her sister this gave her the courage and strength to leave her selfish and controlling husband and moved on with her life. Literally couldn't put this book down!
I loved how the beginning of the story showed the development of Heaven and Tony's relationship. It showed us how quickly a man can change a woman's life. Heaven had gone through so much and left one overprotective household to a.controlling man. It made me sad to see how Heaven's life turned out. Her promising future was ruined by a man and parents who were supposed to love the lord but turned their back on their daughter. Tony did so much dirty stuff to his wife he claimed to love. I was so happy she finally got away from him and had a chance to be happy. I knew when she planned to use the private jet Tony bought her she was making a big mistake. Antwan should have spoke up and told her no. I thought he could protect her but he didn't. Tony deserved more than spending life in jail and poor Heaven deserved happiness. I wish the book ended differently. I hate reading books about weak women who can't let a man go. I know it happens so often in real life. I wanted a different ending but it was a page turner.

Sad but true
This book was real life. Heaven fell for the first guy who paid her any attention because her parents spent so much time bringing her up in the Word but neglected to teach her about life in a loving way. Heaven had rules and wasn't allowed to socialize or be a girl, teenager or experience anything outside of church. Tony was a smooth talking snake, a cowardly manipulating abuser who cared about himself only. He isolated Heaven from everyone and it didn't help that her parents disowned her for one mistake -especially considering the secret they held. I had hoped for a happy ending with Antwon but Heaven really needed to find herself, not another man. This book was raw and real and sad. I completely understand Heaven's fear of leaving Tony, but why no one helped her was sad. Worth reading; needs editing but still a good read.

Author Diamond I'm your new reader DeeDee. I guarantee I'm go keep up with you to read more of your books. This book hit home for me except for 1 thing. I'm a survivor! I was 17 and I ran like a criminal from the cops. I snatched up my daughter and got ghost! I agree with Tony's coward ass on 1 thing and 1 thing only. His homeboys are cowards also. They should have just stood by his side being they did nothing at all to protect Heaven. Her death made me sad but angry. I can't lie though. At 1st I was angry at Antwan and Heaven. Why would you take a private jet given to you by your abusive husband? Clearly they wasn't thinking! I was actually yelling at the book don't do it don't do it like they could actually here me lmao Ladies please know your worth.

Diamond Johnson has done it again
I've always been a big fan of Diamond's work, but this one took the cake. It not very often that you read a book that literally has you in tears. Domestic abuse is a very serious and dangerous reality that some women face in life. Some are able to leave, while others often think a man will change and often end up losing their life. My heart went out to Heaven and I found myself in tears while reading this. I only wishes she would have gotten her happy ending, but I realized death is the happy ending that some women crave because to them its their o my way of an escape

This book is a must read for women especially onea that are going through things or love a man too much. This book is very emotional but it is worth it to read. Heaven was a woman who grew up a certain way and had a man to influence her. Tony was there for her and they loved each other through all the issues. Sometimes there is another side to a person. Tony has one but will Heaven deal with it or what? How much pain can one woman go through? This book makes you cry, mad, understanding, hurt, & feel sorry for the women. Diamond Johnson really did her thing with this book.

I cried like a baby!!!!
Shoot I honestly thought that Antonia went through some shit with her Aunt, but damn Heaven even with her last breath she was suffering. I love the fact that you didn't give us a happy ending because domestic violence sometimes leads to death, oh how I wish Antwan would of gotten some revenge on Tony for her.. Now Christian she was so selfless to give up her child ... God does work in mysterious ways sometimes...Great job as always... side note I wonder which was on his friends is Cara's baby daddy and fiancé

Great book..
This book was really good. I cried real tears for Heaven. Poor Heaven just fell head over heels in love with Tony. I really wish she could have gotten out the relationship alot sooner. He kept saying how much he loved her but it ain't no way. I cried for the suffering she endure. It was good that her and her sister got to reconnect after so many years apart. She gave her the one thing she wanted to have so much. I wish her Faith and Antwan would have had a chance of happiness together. Great book. You definitely won't be disappointed.

A Dangerous Love
Man😭😭😭I knew the whole time reading this book that Tony didn't have it all and he was gonna end up killing her. Tony was a coward/control freak with money but Heaven couldnt be bought. Heaven loved Tony down to his funky draws but that wasnt enough. Her dad was wrong how he turned his back on her and let's not talk about Trisha she should have never took on that role as a mother if she couldn't handle it. I knew something was up with that. Man I felt like I was at the last viewing Heaven and I had became close friends😭😭😭. RIP Heaven😇

Caring man turned into a monster. I dislike his friends because they all knew he was abusing his wife but did nothing. Heaven's parents should be blamed also because they put her out and made it seem like Tony was her only option. This books show alot of what is happening in society. Definitely wasn't expecting that ending. Tony is one sick individual. I felt sooo bad for Heaven. Just when I thought she'd have a happy ever after, BAM; things came crashing down. Her mom was the devil and I just can't believe how things changed for her. Man.. Overall this was a eye opener. Such relatable scenes and a message that I heard LOUD & CLEAR .... kudos to you, Diamond.

Heartbroken
Heaven had a hard time growing up, but trust me it's nothing like you're thinking. With a mother who despises you for reasons unknown to you, a father you worship only to be let down by him, and a man 10 times your senior who exposes you to an unconditional love with many conditions, what else can one endure? This story was very well written and will have you wondering Is this what loving hard looks like, or just overly obsessed......

Omg, great read and it hit on so many real life issues that many women face. I felt so bad for Heaven, but I loved how Ciara did Tony in the end, he deserved it. Tony was a coward and selfish. I loved Heaven but when her housekeeper and Antwan told her what happened to his mother she should have listened. But Heaven died protecting a man that she did love and get to experience it with.

Crazy Love
This book stated off kind of slow but it picked up. I didn't give up because DJ is a true boss when it comes to writing. When crazy was following heaven from school I said this not going to end good. He was a pervert from the beginning. She was 17 and he was 28 I think. I didn't like the secret the came out when here father died but I live her sister for giving her a child. Her life ended behind crazy but she did have some happiness in the end.

Speechless
I really don't know what to say about this book. But I will say that Author Diamond Johnson you have exceeded to a new level with this standalone. I have a new respect for you. I'm emotionally drained from reading this book. You had me crying and wanting to jump threw the pages and comment murder. The perfect title for this book because once you read it you will understand stand what the title means. Thank you for sharing your gift.

This book was soooooo good!
I don't know where to start. From the beginning to the end the story was great! Although Heaven was dumb I still connected with her character. I felt so in tuned with her emotions.
I hated how selfish Tony was and I blame it all on his parents...
I low-key hated Heaven's father and more but I don't wanna give the story away lol. This is a must read and a job well done by this incredible author

All I can say is wow.
This book was something else. Tony, Tony, Tony. He was definitely a piece of work. This man was a manipulator, liar, and selfish. Poor Heaven couldn't catch a break. Couldn't even have a child, because of selfish Tony. No friends or family around. Because he knew she was green and wanted to keep her that way. No outsiders to influence her. Then end her life. Yes, he was a coward.

Oh wow
Man Tony made good on his promise to kill Heaven. This was truly a heartfelt read and I hated that Heaven had to endure all of the things that Tony put her though. Antwan was a Good send bc he made her lost days happy I just wished she could've enjoyed a new life with Antwan and Faith.I wished that anyone that's in an abusive relationship can get out bc 9 times out of 10 if they threatened to kill u they r going to make good on just like Tony did

Woww Diamond. I am at lost for words. I have never read a book like this. It felt so real like I can see and feel everything that Heaven is going through. My emotions were all over the place. This book is one of a kind and I will never forget this story. This is one of the best books I have read. Omg I'm still in shock.
