I gave up at 2%. I’m guilty not only of breaking my stupid rule to never DNF a book, which is bad enough, but of reading the first two chapters entirely!! Stupid stupid me! Right after I was done and it was way too late to give this book a chance to please me.
I’m all in when it comes to immerse myself in a delicious hot, smutty, filthy read! But I have limits and there are some elements that I can’t stand in my romances!
Personally I found this chapter absolutely dreadful and disgusting. Since when it does form part of any romantic book criteria? I don't know what this author was thinking, but for me it’s a BIG NO! This is just my honest opinion here.

This was amazing love story with older man, Ben Ryder, who was an ex-Navy Seal and a younger woman 19-year-old, Lolita Carter.
There was a lot of twist and turns in this book but the love Ryder and Lolita had from the begin helped both out in the long wrong. Ryder found out his wife was pregnant with another man’s child at the time of her accident. You will never guess who the father of the child really is, and I’m not going to spoiled that one. Then you have Lolita that always wanted to know who her father really was but her mother never told her until almost the very end. Lolita mother was a whole different story, and you have Ryder’s son, Cody in the picture as well.
So how it all unfolds to where they got their HEA. Lots happen in this book and you will be surprised by just about everything as it unfolds in the book. It’s a great short story and you will not be disappointed at all.

Don't waste your time, unless...
Don't waste your time and money on this book unless you need to get off. This is just for tantalization and erotic purpose is only this is not a romance. These characters are shallow. I couldn't get passed the first half of the book without wanting to throw up. ( I currently have a teenage daughter and this made me feel sick) I really didn't like it but I I gave it two stars because it was sexy it was dirty. Just like the title said it was going to be.

Captain Benjamin Ryder has come home because the mother of his son has died in an accident. 19 year old Lolita is Ben's neighbor who is desperate to be with him and Ben is attracted to Lolita from first site. There chemistry is off the charts hot. This book not only had great sex scenes it also had a great suspenseful mystery because Ben wanted to find out what really happened to his wife. This is an older man/younger woman taboo romance. A sexy fast paced read full of heart break, dirty sex and a must read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Another fantastic read by Amy Brent. If you like older man/younger woman taboo romance stories with suspense, heartbreak, mystery, twists and turns, secrets, sizzling chemistry, dirty talk and filthy sex, then Filthy SEAL is one HOT book you need to read.

DNF after about seven chapters. Waaaayyyyy too much backstory on the main characters and even a little TMI, even for this genre. Heck, when I quit reading, the main characters hadn't even met yet! If I want layered characters and angst, I don't look for it in a book titled "Filthy SEAL."

Would have been better if there wasn't confusion

This book was for sure filthy. Not too mention extremely taboo based on the age of Lolita and her sexy Seal, Ben. The relationship between Lolita and her mother was down right raunchy. I cannot believe the way her mother raised her. However, it was clear she did love her daughter even if it was in a disturbing manner. Also in the beginning when Ben was informed by Quinn of the details of Bethany's death, the pregnancy was revealed. Yet, in the later chapters, Ben reveals to Quinn about the pregnancy??? Contradiction, I would say so. And Quinn acts shocked and almost guilty. The story's momentum was lost at that point. I did email the author in hopes to have a correction made. This review will be edited in the event those changes are made.

Another great hit by this author. She always creates the unimaginable and brings you into her imagination with a flawless yet heatlthy dose of sexy, drama and a giggle here and there.

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review***Great storyline Amy. Good writing! A SEAL Captain Ben Ryder has decided to retire and on his last tour, he received papers from his wife, Bethany, that she was divorcing him. Now that he was going to be divorced he starting seeing a young female sniper. While they were busy and he wasn't paying attention, she turned off his phone. While she took a shower there was a knock on the door a young man had been sent by his boss to get him. He was told he had to go home immediately. His wife and been in an MVA and was dead. He took the long trip home and worried about his young son, Cody. But he was informed that Cody was with his sister-in-law, Emily, Bethany's sister's family.His best friend and owner of the security company he worked for, Quinn, picked him up from the airport. He took him to his house. When awoke the next morning while getting himself together he saw the young girl next door, Lolita, floating in her pool. She was topless and then she took off her bottoms. He decided right then that he had to have her. She finally took off her shades and looked up to the window where was standing and she smiled. Ryder found when he went make the funeral arrangements that his dead wife had been pregnant at the time of her death. He went to pick up his son and he asked Hank, his brother-in-law if he knew anything about who his might have been dating. He didn't want to discuss this. she was dead. So Ben asked Emily and she said she only knew she going out with friends.A great read!

Lolita has been taught all kinds of things by her mother, but what she's drilled in her head since she could remember was that women have the power because of what they have down below. She's not as careless as her mother, but she believes what she's learned. When the ex-navy SEAL, Ryder, comes home after his wife has been killed in an accident, she sets her eyes on him and is determined to beat her mother to him. After a sexy weekend together, she starts babysitting for him while he works. Things just get better from there for these two.
Rider was handed divorce papers before he left for Iraq. He knew his marriage was over and planned to sign the papers when he got home and try to spend more time with his son when he was stateside. When he's told his wife had died in a car accident, he couldn't decide how he should feel. He was devastated of course, but was it from losing her, or losing the women he'd married. When he finally discovers who his wife was having an affair with, he learns more than he bargained for. While heading home after the run in with that man, he begins to think about Lolita and their weekend together. He was happy, he hadn't been happy in a long time. He didn't know if she was just a distraction, but he wasn't going to stop spending time with her until he knew for sure things wouldn't go anywhere.

Does the age difference matter.....heck no. Not with ex Seal Ben Ryder and next door neighbour Lolita Carter. They are so suited for each other. Ben loves the Seal life but gives it up for his soon to be ex wife Bethany. But when he finds out she has been killed in an accident and she wanted a divorce, his life changes dramatically, in more ways than one. His next door neighbour Lolita is spectacular, just what he needs...a distraction. Ben gets more than a distraction to his amazement. Lots of twists and turns in this story. Lots of secrets about his ex wife Bethany, who can he trust, his relationship with Lolita and just so many questions you want to ask. Lolita is a young sexy woman who just loves Ben from first sight. She knows what she wants and loves him. Loved how the story all came together and people who you think were guilty, well what a surprise. A fantastic read, loved it.

Captain Ryder is dealing with the upheaval in his life as he is soon to be divorced from his wife. However, fate steps in and tragedy strikes forcing him to return home to care for his four year old son. Upon his return there are so many unanswered questions the most pressing is why his wife is out late at night in the rain? With an exciting twist he finds Lolita, his nineteen year old neighbor, to whom he is highly attracted. These two are combustible from the onset and their scenes together are beyond steamy. This is one book that you will want to read in one sitting and once started; you will not put it down until the end. There are additional epilogues included that are just an added bonus to this highly engaging, thoroughly enjoyable read.

I am disappointed by the affairs. I understand if it is a bad or disappointing marriage and it's ending but you still do not cheat before it's over. That's beyond wrong. I skimmed to get past these sections because I was so disappointed in the character. The other main character disappointed me with her entire personality. It's hard to be on someone's side when they act so immature and talk so disrespectfully. I guess these were a match made because they were both immature. I gave it a two because the mystery was fun to figure out.
Ps: why is no one wearing a condom????? Seriously, pussy power should wear a cape, it's not immune to diseases!!!! I'm truly disgusted with the lack of protection any of the characters used. I did not find the scenes enticing because I was so caught up in the possible diseases being spread. Maybe it's just me, but I think it's sexy to protect your partner and yourself until you get tested and make a true monogamous commitment.

This was a 5 Star read for me!
This book captivated me from the beginning. It was filled with suspense, heart break, sexy times, lots of love, and devotion.
-The characters were well developed. I enjoyed the supporting characters just as much as the main characters.
-The plot blew me away, because it only thickened the further I got into the book. The twist and turns were almost mind boggling. The people I kept thinking were possible the bad guys were not bad at all.
-The sexy times were so hot my kindle could have caught on fire! The chemistry between Ryder and Lolita was super hot.
-This book was a fast paced easy read. I finished it in one sitting.

Wow I loved this book it had such hot scenes in it, it has you on edge from the first page.
Ben Ryder was had gone to work abroad for a few months as his wife wants a divorce. While enjoying time with a women he received the news of his wife's untimely death and the secret she was concealing becomes known. He has to deal with all of his feelings about his life in the future and how best yo raise his son. Ryder decides to lose himself in his neighbours sexy teenage daughter. They both have to deal with the attraction they feel, there is also the teens mum to consider and learning about how his wife lost control of the car and the suspense of how things are not what they seem. what follows is alot of steamy sex scenes that have you feeling all warm inside. I highly recommend this book

Ryder is an ex-Navy Seal who is now working for his friend in the private sector. He is out of the country when he gets the message his wife and mother of his son died. He comes home to bury his wife and take care of his son. However, he does not plan on seeing his young neighbor, Lolita, and falling for her so quick even though his marriage to his wife was over long ago, he is not sure how to handle these feelings. As he finds out more about his wife, he learns her secrets and finds out the truth behind her death. Once that is resolved, he is able to focus on his son and Lolita. Lolita and Ryder become inseparable and Cody loves her. Can they make get over the past and move forward regardless of the age difference and everything against them?
This book has an interesting story, mystery, murder, love, chemistry and full of unexpected twists. I received an ARC of this book!

Filthy Seal was a bonus book included with "Teacher's Pet" and since I have such a deep respect for Amy Brent, felt this book should have it's review as well. Ryder was just a few weeks from finishing his Navy Seal training when he met Bethany. When he shipped out, they kept up a long distance relationship & eventually got married. Life takes hold as it does, they have a 4yr old son & Bethany wants Ryder to muster out and be a better husband & father. After leaving the Seals, the marriage continues to deteriorate so Ryder takes a job with a ex-Seal & friend to do private security and go overseas for 3 months and Bethany decides right before he leaves that she wants a divorce. 2 months after being overseas, Ryder receives new that his wife was in an automobile accident & is dead. He needs to come home.

Holy hot new release from Amy Brent! Ben Ryder comes home from an assignment in the middle east it's due to the loss of his soon to be ex-wife and to be there four his son. This is a very well written storyline. It has surprising twists that were pleasantly appreciated.
Ben is a Navy Seals who's marriage is on the rocks. He just loves serving his country and excels at it. He wife Bethany doesn't understand why he can't be home with her and their son Cody. She has a fatal car accident and he comes home to care for his son.
Lolita lives beside him and his family for 3 years now. She is a sexual young woman with a voracious appetite for sex. I liked the explosive chemistry between Ben and Lolita, they had plenty of steamy pages.

Had the privilege to read and ARC copy. A great story about how good things can happen even after a great tragedy. Having to leave the SEAL's after his wife dies in a car accident, Ryder is left alone to raise their 4 year old son. Even though the marriage was on the rocky ledge, it's still not easy loving a loved one, and then to have to tell your son whom you have only seen for a couple months of his entire life. Not easy even for a Navy SEAL who has seen a lot of bad things and none of them have bothered him.
Lolita is his neighbor and he can't keep his eyes or his mind off of her. They find a way to make it work through all of the tragedy they find love. No matter the age difference of the life circumstances love will still find a way to help you through it all.

This book was not any where close to my cup of tea.
There wasn't much I liked about this story. There was name mistakes, punctuation mistakes, grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes. Along with that, the story ended at twelve percent but did have over twenty short chapters.

The only good thing can say about this book was the mystery of his Ryder's wife died. That alone made it worth while to finish the book. This book does contain other stories but I wasn't even going to start them.
There wasn't much I liked about this story. There was name mistakes, punctuation mistakes, grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes. Along with that, the story ended at twelve percent but did have over twenty short chapters.

I really enjoyed this book. It has quite a bit of hot, i mean really hot sex scenes, but the story line behind the sex was real good. Older man and younger woman is not every ones thing, but considering I was 18 when I met my husband and he was 32, this is never an issue with me. And we have been married 37 years. I loved Ben Ryder. Such an amazing man, and Lolita even turned out to be a pretty great character considering her name sake and her mother. Ow that woman was hard to take, although her point of view on men and relationships was quite something. Anyway, take the book for what it is and enjoy.

I cannot believe how absolutely hot and emotional this newest one from Amy Brent was! Lolita and Ryder really take us on an emotional ride that will keep you up late! The way Amy Brent portrays the whole building relationship, complete with background info on all the characters makes the story come alive! The was Lolita had to have a backbone, especially with her mother was brilliant. The way Ryder used his brain made him even more sexy!! Now don't forget those intimate scenes! Wowsers, so hot!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Amy Brent never disappoints! This book is one of her best to date. I loved Ben and Lolita's story. I loved the bit of mystery involved around the cirumstances surrounding the death of Ben's wife. They may have been heading for divorce but I really feel for Ben. In comes Lolita. Ben's much younger neighbor. Ben is smitten from the beginning. What will happen between the two? Can Ben keep away or will he go after what he seems to want? I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well written and had a lot of chemistry. I was hooked from the very beginning. I look forward to more books by Ms Brent. I loved the HEA!
