G.I. Joe Vol 2 (Disavowed) by Devil's Due Publishing: Issues 34-38. I thought this series was done for, but they made a strong comeback in this volume. Great action sequences, lots happening at the same time across the globe, and some huge surprises. Definitely a must read. What made it better in my opinion was a return to more realistic scenarios for the characters. More global power struggles, less ninjas and robots.
