It has been awhile since I read the original Left Behind series and when I saw this on Amazon, I knew I had to read it and I wasn't disappointed. All three books were fantastic and helped to fill in the gaps with character history. I has always wondered about the history of Nicolas Carpathia, Rayford and Chloe and Buck and the others and the author did a fantastic job of developing the characters and leading up to what happens after the rapture. Whether or not you believe that this is how the end time will happen, this paints one possibility for how things may occur and gets you thinking about what is most important in life-our salvation and relationship with the Lord. It is done in a very entertaining way. The books are fast-paced and keep you engaged from page 1. Thank you to the authors for the great books.

I was so inspired by the Prequels, that I continue even more so with my studies of the Bible. These were very well written, and though fiction, it leaves you thinking about how important it to pray for those friends and family members who have not come to Jesus Christ, and admit that they are born of sin, and ask for forgiveness of their sins, and then ask Jesus into their heart and become their Lord and Savior. Not just Savior, that's easy enough for most, but Lord of their lives. If we don't want to continue with a life of sin, we must turn our lives over to Him. Ask Him to show us the way, and be willing to follow His Word, even when we don't want to.

These books were perfect to go with the Left Behind books, you got to picture who the main characters are and how they got where they were in the Left Behind book set. I would, honestly, recommend reading these first, before the larger set of books, it would help you to see the whole story! Definitely recommend, especially if you believe in the Bible and what it says!

Background for the Left Behind

The prequel of the Left Behind series gives great insight into what was happening in the lives of the characters as they grew up, went to college, dated, married, and started their careers. I especially love the great judgement described before believers received their rewards.

I read this entire series when it first came out years ago, I have now purchased it for Kindle to read them all again. This series is awesome, the writing is excellent and it gives you so much to think about. I highly recommend!! They are on my most favorite books read list.

Must Read!

This is an amazing series and must be read. Lots of Bible references and easy to understand the flow of what's going on. I'm starting the other books now. Highly recommended if you like prophecy books and the authors do a great job.

Excellent and fast paced

I enjoyed this trilogy very much! I read the Left Behind series back in the late 90's and really wanted to read the prequel. The characters are engaging and the story moves right along. We certainly could be living in the end days.

It is very difficult to write about a subject (that hasn't happened yet)... these books are a bit over-the-top...but the message is clear! CHRIST WILL CLAIM HIS OWN!

NICOLAE CARPATHIA is often portrayed as a megalomaniac who hears voices (often funny)

IRENE STEELE experiences the rapture

There are imagined images of the rapture; and life in heaven, scripture messages are delivered by Christ and apostles.

Book 3 uses the ' great throne judgement' to recount religious history.... Eventually connecting to the Left behind series.

Best Christian Series ever!!

I have read this series several times and I constantly keep going back to it a few times a year. It keeps you wanting more and more. The characters stories are so engrossing that you are not going to be able to put this series down. It goes so well with what is going to happen when God and Jesus takes his people home and the Bible prophecies.
