Sanya Richards-Ross created a great book. Showing her story while encouraging the readers with advice at the end of each chapter was a great format; perfect for young track and field athletes or anyone who wants motivation. Right on Track: Run, Race, Believe takes the reader from the beginning of Richards-Ross' track career to the end. (I remember seeing her last race on TV at the USA trials). Richards-Ross shows her highs and lows of her career and how she overcame them while showcasing her deep Christian faith. I thoroughly enjoyed Right on Track: Run, Race, Believe while I take life in stride.

Right on Track is a positive and inspiring story of an American track runner, Sanya Richards-Ross. Throughout the book, it goes through the ups and downs Sanya faced. It encourages the reader to never give up and always follow their dreams.
It starts off with Sanya as a little girl. Even when she was younger she wanted to be an Olympic runner. She describes her journey with gaining self-confidence, and how important it is to have it. Even though she is talking about running, and becoming a champion, she also teaches important life lessons that anyone can learn from.
I really liked how easy it was to relate to Sanya throughout the entire book. For example, she expressed how hard it is to gain self-confidence, and that she struggled for a long time too. This makes the reader feel encouraged that someone that struggled with self-confidence achieved gaining it. I thought it was a good book, and didn’t dislike anything.
If you are someone who likes to learn new ways to challenge themselves or become inspired this would be an amazing book choice for you. Of course, if you are a runner I strongly suggest this book for you, but again really anybody can read it and get something out of it.
Right on Track is a fantastic book, with an even more incredible storyline and meaning.

This was a great book! Very encouraging and motivating for athletes of any age, mainly for secondary athletes in particular. Sanya shows how her faith in God helped her conquer many obstacles. As a former track athlete, it hit home as I could relate to someone I admire. I recommend!
