1. The Tenderness of His Love by Kimberly Rae Jordan
A great story about learning to trust and not allowing one’s fears to hold them back. Olivia is strong because of everything she experienced, instead of letting her circumstances beat her down, but she has to learn to accept other people’s help, and realize that she needs them. It has been fun to read about many of these same characters in her other novels.
2. A Heart Reclaimed by Elizabeth Maddrey
This second story in the Peacock Hill Romance series was another really fun story by this author about Duncan & Anna, who have to learn to work together on their project. Fun, well-developed characters & story!
3. His Father’s Son by Autumn Macarthur
A good story dealing with past mistakes and forgiveness, and with second chances.
4. Sink or Swim by Lesley Ann McDaniel
Fun story about friendship leading to a romantic relationship, and learning to trust again. It’s easy to sympathize with Jen for all she’s been through, as well as the issue of examining one’s motives, which should be common to all.
5. Angel Kisses and Riversong by Lynnette Bonner
This is the first novel I have read by Lynnette Bonner, and it was a fun, easy read! Great
characters and plot development! I loved being reminded in the story that God isn’t surprised by things like we are.
6. Skye by Heather Gray
This is another truly delightful, yet incredibly in-depth story by this author! While there are many lines that kept me laughing, there are also many lines that were heart-breaking and made me stop and think: The homeless & the way they are often treated; preconceived notions; selfishness & selflessness; relationships; fear; restoration & second chances; our failings being turned into something God can use for His Kingdom; living our lives in full color instead of in black & white; and so many more things worth pondering. I want to find time to re-read this story, but I’m hoping this author takes us back to Rainbow Falls to enjoy some of the other characters’ stories. I HIGHLY recommend this story as a great read for anyone!!!
7. Ask You Later by Jan Thompson
This is a fun story about two quirky people who are opposites, but have to learn to accept each other and trust God & His timing. My favorite line was: “maybe God brought you here for such a time as this.”

This is a great and fun collection to read for a great price!!

Great in the middle

This was s treat, getting so many books in one. However I skipped loads of the first book and couldn't read past chapter 4 in the last book. They're sweet, but not written in a way that engaged me. The books in between, though, were each fantastic. Well written. Deep characters. Plots that weren't too predictable. Theology that didn't feel forced, fake, or corny. I'll definitely be looking for more from these authors!

These 7 amazing authors will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next in these books. You will feel God working throughout these stories. I had the honor to review this boxset for these wonderful ladies. I would give this set a higher rating than a five star review if I could.

I'd give all but one of the stories 4 stars. I didn't like the last book, because I didn't feel like there was any chemistry between Leon and Sophie. I liked Leon but didn't like Sophie at all. I'd give the last story 2 stars.

Seven Christian authors each contributed to this collection. Each one by a different author, each one standing on its own. Very glad to have found this set, and so appreciated the casual way they inserted the Christian faith into every day living.

"The Tenderness of His Love"
A struggling young mom's road crosses the one of a different kind of people then the ones she's used to. Will she dare trust them? Will she dare let them help her? Will she dare hope again and open her heart to love again?
A man who's been hurt and lied to tries to avoid personally helping others, but he can't just pass by when he sees a need. But helping someone in need when you feel more towards her is not as simple as it seems. And it calls for opening up to the possibility of being hurt again, risking your security once again.
I enjoyed the story. It's a sweet romance that develops in a realistic setting. And well, I always say that if a man can love somebody's children like they were his own flesh and blood, he will love his wife more than she dares to hope.
